There is no definitive answer to which altcoin will really make you rich. The market is highly very volatile that prices rapidly changes in a matter of minutes or days. $500 is a good start up though if you want to proceed with trading. I would suggest for low risk takers go for coins which has already established names like litecoin / ethereum / ripple / monero and a lot more. Just to be on the safer side that you will not loose all your money in an instant. If you are more of a risk taker you can buy those new emerging coins and hold on to it until you get some profit. The only key here is whatever coin you choose to buy with that $500 try to buy at it's lowest price try on checking historical trends and buy at a low price then always sell at a high price.In case where the coin drops in value never sell if you can't get any profit from it as you are just loosing money in the process. Altcoins can't make you a one day millionaire that's for sure! But when you constantly do it to buy low and always sell high then this coins will make you rich someday.

i think you have to see whats happen in every project behind them you can check the fairness and the ideas that is builded
think positive about the major part of every altcoin becouse the market is growing day after day after teh last bitcoin boom in december, take a look around you and be a really predator

Just invest it for now with bitcoins or eth. I know that there are a lot of other altcoins out there, but doing so might be the best option now.
I would definitely consider this coin, it has a niche market and had an amazing start!

The only problem is that some coins will do it very soon and other will take much more time I think if you want to make a huge profit, you also should think about participation in different perspective ICOs. Of course it`s always risky, but can bring you a lot of money. Anyway you should not put 100% of your bankroll in one ICO. Even if it looks incredible and very perspective.

I go with those that's in the top spot and that are stable. I like how ripple is doing this year, so as Stellar and cardano. you can also go with IOTA and lite coin. any of these are good altcoins. Look at the trend of the price hike of stellar i think it has a great potential since it is peaking right now.

It's really hard to generalize what altcoin will make you rich like that, of course. 
But I think investing in some of the bigger coins for the long term would make you a pretty nice profit.

Very nice list, is it on order of importance? Because I would change that to be something like:

NEvertheless, all ICOs you mentioned are great, I have invested (or will invest in ATF) in all of them and have not regreted (was a bit unsure about cointed in the beggining but changed my mind after doing some research)

Every coin has it's own unique attributes and offering. My suggestion is to find several with good liquidity and research what they do. You never know, you might find the next coin you believe will have real world applications and it sky rockets! Good Luck

If I want to invest about $500 then I will choose ripple (XRP) because the price is cheap, and its quite potential. Try to imagine, if we buy ripple now, then in the future the ripple price is the same as Waves now. It will be a huge profit.
