Bitcoin continues to grow and there are no other coins that can outperform Bitcoin. Bitcoin has moved very far and is very difficult if pursued by other coins. Many proposed coins can reach Bitcoin like Ethereum. Until now Ethereum has not been able to reach like Bitcoin.

Every coin has a chance, my bet is litecoin and cardano they are the biggest gainer this week, but there is no guaranty that they can do this all year long, my bet is still Bitcoin, altcoins price depends so much on Bitcoin, we are going to live and die on Bitcoin's price

i am more curious to know why you think that 10 year of same history is going to suddenly change this year? nothing is different so why should the market be any different!
in all these years it is only bitcoin that is performing well and all the rest of the altcoins have a short lived moment in the sun while they are getting pumped hard and that moment passes as fast as it came along and then the dumping begins!

If you take a good look at BTC and the way investors invest in it, you will see it is a clear sign of a project with great value, and it is this value that keeps driving or attracting more investors. So to your question, there is no altcoin that can outperform BTC.

I don't think there is any. There is a reason why after many years BTC still remains the top cryptocurrency; to me I will say it is due to its features. Many individuals today owns BTC, but might not own altcoins, that is to show the trust in Bitcoin will always continue to make it more Valuable.

If it is this summer, it should be no. Currently in the market recovery, BTC is the representative, and other basic cryptocurrencies are centered on BTC. BTC rose first and other currencies were rising. If the theme is changed to spring 2021, I think there will be other currencies.

In the case where the entire market depends on btc, it is unreasonable that this is possible. In the current case, btc means whole crypto itself. If something happens to btc, it means the collapse of the crypto market.

With the way it's beginning to look I don't think any altcoins will outperform BTC this Summer. If we enter another exponential we won't stop below 20 thousand dollars again just like the last time when we approached 1000 and went through like it was nothing.
I thought we wouldn't break 6000 especially with everybody saying that strong support acts as strong resistance if it gets broken and here we go.

I will not say that Ethereum will outperform bitcoin but im expecting quite a big run for ethereum because it has been in downtrend and now in consolidation and accumulation phase for months and with so many improvements and upgrades coming this year im eyeing a new all time high for ethereum by the end of this year.

Bitcoin is firmly taking the place of the cryptocurrency leader. Its level of capitalization is greater than the capitalization of all other cryptocurrencies. This means that Bitcoin firmly holds its position and therefore it is too early to discuss the issue of its displacement. Cryptocurrency is developing very quickly and over time, the loss of a high level of capitalization by Bitcoin is inevitable. What will happen next, while no one can say.

I don't think that any of the altcoins which are in existence now has the capability to overtake Bitcoin anytime in the near future. Bitcoin is far ahead of the others. If any of these alts have a remote chance of offering some competition to BTC, it has to be Ether. The technology behind ETH is more advanced when compared to that of BTC, but it has failed to overtake BTC in terms of acceptability and adoption.

None of the altcoins have the ability and dexterity to surpass bitcoin now. If care is not taken, the dominance of bitcoin might continue to increase, which means that the growth of altcoins is subject to the growth of bitcoin. That also invariably means that altcoins are dependent on bitcoin.

Based from my direct analysis and opinion about your point or subject, the word outperform doesn't seems possible or even having a 50 percent higher chance of occurrence. Through looking at the market graph and bitcoin's market price, you can already see how great it is and the gap is quite too big for altcoins to even withstand to reach it.

It's better to invest in privacy coins now. These days it's not easier to find a solid project. However, privacy coins will probably have a great future. For your info, I am shilling for Monero, DeepOnion, PIVX. I have invested on these heavily since the bearish season.

Most probably none. Since the beginning of the creations of altcoins up until now there is none that ever outperform Bitcoin in terms of Market capitalization. Yes that is all that matters, more money is put in Bitcoin than any other summed up alts out there. Even though there are better alts at transaction speed, low transaction gas, name it, still Bitcoin is primarily used in the whole world of crypto currencies.

I don't think we would have any coin that is going to outperform btc even in years to come because no matter how we try to abadon btc, we discover that it is the father and will always remain the father, besides we have just very few coins in the crypto market that really offers a real life value like what bitcoin offers. For example, bitcoin is a store of value and could be referred as the digital gold, it can be also used as a payment gateway for transactions, this means bitcoin can be used for paying for good and services.

How can any altcoin outperform BTC when BTC has been in the market for like 10+ years? And BTM some coin even reaches the level of BTC, BTC would have surpassed it. That's why many small investors have not chosen to invest in BTC and have rather invested in ETH. There are some promising coins like XRP, Tether that have made huge profit for the investors but as the market crashed, their price also crashed. I am currently looking out for FX as it's a new coin and may be able to be good for investment.
