I think a stable coin is a coin that has a lack of interest in the coin or coin that is not very well received feedback from the public. but if we look at it in the last few days most altcoins have increased dramatically and always provide amazing movements in the market.

You cannot think of stability only in terms BTC/altcoin or altcoin/fiat pairing. Stability is a lot more than that and is closely related to the dev team planning the project and the community supporting it.
Prices will go up and down like they always have, but the truly stable projects will proceed with their roadmaps despite of the market fluctuations. That's stability; the capacity to move forward even in chaotic occasions.

It is very difficult to predict the most stable altcoins, because all there is no fixed benchmark. But there are some trusted altcoins like ETH, DASH, RIPPLE, they are promising altcoin for the future.

ltc, eth, zcash is stable coin in my opinion..doge too, doge prices remained the same for several months back in the range of 15-25 satoshi
In the last two month you see theres no stable coins. All the well known stable coins like ethereum get pumped and pumped. So theres actuall no stable coin. At the moment theres a crypto boom and everybody trys to buy crypto. So thats why almost everycoin is pumpin!
Eth Lite and Doge? I see these coins as one of the most support-stabled coin. They continue to grow and the community that uses it are consistent with it so it means its more stable.
what do you mean by saying steable coins? do you mean coins that are low risk or steable price? if the low risk, the top 10 market cap coins will be, if the latter, i think all cryptos are high risk
I think, top 30 coins is the best choice for investment, both for long-term and short-term investitions.
Just look at the top altcoins on the market, they are usually the stable ones. BTC, ETH, etc
There are many altcoins are in the market but we can't say any coin's price is very stable for a long period.But some coins price constantly increasing when we analyze them in long terms those are ethereum,litecoin,XMR and DASH.But these coins price also stable but everyone hoping that these are the coins of future so it is better to invest on these coins than new and cheap coin because these coins are already in the market for long time and got the recognition from investors when we invest on new coins it needs long time to get the recognition from people.

It can maintain its value even if there are a lot of competitors.
Aside from it is still the most use token by many ICO.

If you are looking for stability, perhaps you should not be in crypto at all. In any case, make a balanced portfolio with coins that are related and unrelated to Bitcoin to balance.
Stability is overvalued. Every coin that is balancing through the market is fluctuating. Every coin is changeable but I would put my trust to Ethereum cause it has the secured technology and big base of the users. Most of the other tokens that are coming from the ICO sales are based on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum has very slow movement through the markets and its value is close to stable. Ethereum growth is moving market traders towards it and the developers of this coin are experienced very well. With every flaw in the system, they are working hard to fix it. Investing into Ethereum is recommended cause it is closest to the stability that is not yet achievable for the cryptos.

For me there are some stable altcoins like Bitcoin Cash Etherium, Litecoin , Bitcoin Gold ,Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Silver, Waves and many altcoin will be stable in the market and increasing so quick.. 
To the most stable coins, in my opinion, belongs Ripple, Waves, Ethereum, Litecoin. This currencies or have stable price, or slowly are increasing their value
There are no stable coins at the crypto market yet. For me stable coin means the price stability. So we have only USDT, but I can't recommend to use it due to it's a very centralized and suspicious project.
Stable altcoins are LTC , ETH and Doge coin.
Yes, Ethereum, Doge coin and litecoins are some stable altcoins; aside from that, waves and ripple are also stable altcoins. And for me, these are some altcoins that are worthy to buy as an investment, especially Ethereum. Its value is rising unexpectedly.
In "stable" I think you mean will not loose the price fast. Then, the top coins should be fit that criteria.
Some coin are just there for money making purpose, but some top list is really exist to serve its purpose (which will gradually change this world) so I think those are stable one.
