Cold wallets LESSEN the chance of a threat. Cold wallets are basically like flash drives that store your private keys difference is with the cold storage wallets if you loose or break it theres a way to get your private keys given you followed the proper set up steps and saves your physical passwords somewhere. Nano S ledger seems to be the most trusted and affordable but you have to wait until march to get one from Ledger.

It depends on what type of wallet you are going to use. There are a few types of wallets:
1.Online Wallets(online exchanges, websites)
2.Mobile Wallets
3.Desktop Wallets
4.Hardware Wallets
5.Paper Wallets

Here are my recommendations:
1.Forget it!
2.Copay(very user friendly), Mycelium
3.Electrum
4.Ledger, Trezor
5.The thing with paper wallets is that it is more important how you generate them and how you keep them safe. Any tested paper wallet should do the work. Electrum for example could generate you a paper wallet.

To me any wallet is good as long as it can keep and secure my bitcoins it doesn't matter if it is a web wallet,  hardware wallet, desktop wallet or paper wallet in the end no system is safe. A desktop wallet can hacked once the pc is compromised, hardware can be stolen, same goes for web and paper wallets. As long as you know what you're doing in the internet you'll be fine.

Looking for a secure place to store my bitcoins. What do you recommend? I found a few here, but looking for more feedback: http://cryptomarketmag.com/2018/01/07/best-bitcoin-wallets-2018/

Thanks!
Well, the best bitcoin wallets are offline wallets e.g. Legder wallet or Trezor wallet. With offline wallet you can store your bitcoin 100% secure.
For online wallets, you may try Xapo or Blockchain.info they are best in terms of security and where you can keep your bitcoins safe online.

As mentioned in the list above the Ledger Nano S and the Trezor are the best ever wallets out there as they are hardware wallets.
Hardware wallets provide the best security for crypto currencies. You will also hear Electrum wallet from many people as the most convenient wallet to use. It is true as it is compatible with all the devices. Apart from all of these wallets, Mycelium wallet has been my most used wallet as it is convenient and efficient to use. It provides features such as custom fees, reboradcast transaction, cancel transaction etc... which not many of the wallets provide. It's seed can be backed up and used whenever we want.

Does Bitcoin have its own wallet? If yes, which one is it?

For me the best bitcoin wallets that I may use is that an online wallet because for me it's more comfortable if we use this because it is secure and safe. Trezor or Ledger is using by many of the user here so I can say that this wallet is more safer that I think they all said that they are using this.

From my personal point of view, after using it for a lot of e-wallets, MyEtherwallet is one of the safest security wallets available online or offline, depending on what you want. With MyEtherwallet, you can save ICO, Token form ERC20 by adding a custom Token, which is very convenient for managing all Token and 1 e-wallet instead of using the e-wallet of each ICO.

I'd also have to agree with everyone who's already said, Trezor or Ledger. Make sure you buy directly from the company, not a third party seller.

I think Ledger and trezor are the best wallet for Bitcoin. I personally use it and work good. Nano S also good choice for bitcoin wallet. But I like trezor much. For wallet everyone should choose a hardware wallet. On mobile wallet, you can try coinbase, xapo.

Bitcoin online e-wallet now has a lot of websites, but I believe Coinbase is the best store for the time being. Because Coinbase has a very good security system, the largest user population in the world, the downside is that whenever the Bitcoin rate increases, the Coinbase floor usually maintains to avoid massive Bitcoin sell.

I lately transfer some of my few funds in Electrum, and base on my observation of using it for a couple of months now, I don't seem to have any problem at all. So yes, it's true that it belongs to current reputable wallets ever existed. Then I recommend you to use electrum
Of course the security assurance of our coins is very important. No matter of what kind of wallet we used or how secured it is, but only matters is that how we handled our wallet. Keeping our private keys and seeds into a safe place is in big help or making a back-up copy of those so we can easily recover just incase it lost.

I used electrum as my cold storage before but after the news that there was something happened I pulled out my funds there although you can just upgrade to be secured again. My next and newest pick for the most secured wallet is hardware wallet Nano Ledger S.

The best Bitcoin wallet would be the hardware wallet like the nano ledger or the trezor. The hardware wallet is offering the best possible security to the holders of the coin. Even if it doesn't support the visibility of all the coins that are visible on the market charts you can manually input the code of the coin you wish to transfer to the hardware wallet. This wallet also offers the connection with the online wallets and it can connect itself with them and make them more secured with its private key. The best thing is that you can receive Bitcoins if you ain't connected to the internet. I hope you will find the suitable wallet for your Bitcoins.

I've been using Ledger since last year (the H.W. and Nano S version) and I've never had any problem with them when it comes storing my Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. When it comes to security, I would recommend both of them and also because of the ease of use that it provides to its users. You must take note that they are not cheap but if you value the security of your coins, you can't go wrong with them. The company behind it is very professional regarding updates and the community who uses it is a huge one.
