Never put more money into crypocurrency than you can afford to loose.
Money management is really the most important thing in Investment, not only limited to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, any kind of investment. Differentiating our funds into several accounts, personally, I divide my monthly salary into three, which is one for daily necessities, one for contingency fund, and one for savings. This saving is the one that I will use for investment.

Someone that navigating the internet and show bitcointalk.org will have issue in his registration process. So who guided you? That is for that. If really your are here or learn then you have to do the following which I have also and did in my early days in the forum. If you love reading then you have to check other people's posts and read them, and for doing so, you are leaning. And when you have read and understood what you read and apply it and it se them to educate and teach others then you have learned and it is time for you to pass to others who are newly coming to the forum. To learn and to educate are the two key elements in the forum.
I'm the process of making comments, you might make mistakes and others will correct you. Some will correct you with harsh words while some will polite words but all the same, don't retaliate but learn from the two. Nobody hates you and everyone wants the best from you. Be calmed and learn.

Learn any good thing you want to know from the forum and her members but try to be original and intentional in anything you do so you don't feel uncomfortable easily, avoid trying to please anybody but learn to tolerate and communicate with each member and don't wake things too seriously when they don't go as planned cause everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Staying active doesn't guarantee you growth in knowledge but staying active and learning and making personal research will help you to understand and grow faster.

"What are the biggest mistakes I should avoid as a newbie"?
You don't need to shy away from mistakes, if you don't make mistakes, if you are really a beginner, see them/other beginners how they navigate this forum, Under your topic post they have shown the rules that must be understood and studied as in general.

For this reason, if you carry out your activities as usual without making mistakes, you will appear calm here, the members here will guide you well, As long as you have the will to ask questions and want to learn, especially about Bitcoin and so on, keep doing positive things and the results you will automatically get will be positive.
He must be dedicated to reading before applying them here and most time what he may want to asked has already been asked, so what he needs is to go through those posts, study them before coming up with questions. It to my knowledge that most start up individuals are not eager to study what they does is just come up with they want to ask and post straight without knowing that similar questions has been asked already.

To grow here:
More time to read
More time to explore
More time to discover
And less moment to post.

If they understand that very correctly then they wouldn't ask much question than reading things across the forum to know what they want/ not want.

One mistake you should avoid is going into crypto without acquiring adequate knowledge. In the crypto space you must take learning as a priority before you can think of enjoying the benefits or earning from it. A lot of newbies don't make proper research before making any investment on crypto, they assume that it's some sort of ponzi scheme where they can just make money overnight. Another thing you shouldn't do is taking irresponsible risks, learning and applying risk management can help you mitigate losses. The last thing you should avoid is impatience.
Exactly, the worse mistake every newbie will make is going into crypto without knowing how it works, and it is happening now because of FOMO. Not just crypto, every investment needs knowledge, but some people seems to skip the learning aspect and go directly without knowledge and understanding, and these people mostly fall victim of making huge mistakes that will make them regret their actions because you cannot get anything perfect even if you know it, talk less of not learning before you go into it.

I always recommend this book for every beginner in cryptocurrency space because this is the same book that gave me the insight and the right knowledge about Bitcoin, and it was recommended for me here, that is why I always recommend the book to newbies because it will give you all the basic knowledge you will need before starting your Bitcoin investment.

First off, this is a general Cryptocurrency space where you can get knowledge about Bitcoin and others as well, so to stay longer and understand your purpose of joining this space you need to follow the rules and regulations governing it and the biggest mistake you'll do is going against them, I believe you should've been given links that would direct you those important rules you need to abide to.

Then, the best Cryptocurrency to priotise if you're thinking of Investment purpose should be Bitcoin, learn and understand it then buy and hold as much as you can for a long period, avoid buying those newly launched coins on telegram due to hype or whatever. And most importantly, store your coins in a non-custodial wallet instead of exchanges.

Now that the bull run is on, many newbies have already started investing in bitcoins and some altcoins without really understanding the risks involved, the price increase indeed looks attractive. I saw on social media recently where an individual was encouraging his followers to invest in bitcoin because they will make more money during the bull run. This may be true, but what then happens after the bullrun is over and these newcomers witness the bear season, will they live in regrets, run away or still remain optimistic?

My advice to newbies is; what ever you were told about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general, still do your own findings, this will save you from regrets.

Use secure wallets, and consider moving your funds to cold storage (offline wallets) for long-term holding. Enable two-factor authentication on your accounts for added security.
Using a cold wallet and adding 2FA to your account is a means to increase security, but it's not entirely the safe heaven. How you handle your cold wallet backup will determine the safety of the funds you have in there because if a third person has access to it, nothing can stop them from getting hold of your coin.

The same thing is applicable to 2FA: either to use it to protect a wallet that allows it or to use it to protect your forum account. The application you use should be secured in order for it to serve its purpose.

eagerness to become popular on the forum thereby writing lots of post and replies which maybe referred to as spamming.
Most of them joined the forum just because they heard it that money can be made on the forum here, so they joined with the mindset to rank up, and join campaign. That’s why most of them do post a lot just to receive merit so that their rank can increase, but they don’t know that things don’t really work like that here, it’s not about how many posts you make here, people value quality posts. If you don’t have something useful to say, then it’s just better you don’t even post.

The funniest part is that some of them don’t even write the post themselves, it’s always created by AI for them, which is against the rules, so most people that are desperate to make money here do end up not staying long on the forum here.

One more thing, trying to teach when you need to learn as for those who are new to cryptocurrency.
That’s just what lots of newbies do now, that’s why sometimes you will see them create threads teaching people things, but there are always errors in the post. They are supposed to keep calm and keep on learning, but they are always in a rush to post, so they will want to teach.

Welcome to the Bitcoin Forum.  You may be a skilled newbie in bitcoin forums but you will never think of yourself as a master.  You will always be eager to know.  If you think you're a skilled novice, you won't get very far.  But to survive in Bitcoin forums you must be safe from scams.  You can't survive on bitcoin forums if you cheat.  So far no one has been able to survive who has taught this bitcoin scam so pay most attention to working honestly on this bitcoin forum.

Hi Ummsha! Great to have you here. Actually, it is an amazingly great community for learning, and you are supposed to be here if you want to dive deeper into cryptocurrency. You don't have to worry about being new; we all start somewhere. Ask any questions, and don't hesitate. We're here to help you get comfortable in this space.

Use secure wallets, and consider moving your funds to cold storage (offline wallets) for long-term holding. Enable two-factor authentication on your accounts for added security.
It will be a mistake if you won't use secured wallets and increase your security or else the chance of losing your cryptocurrency funds will become higher especially scammers and hackers have find innovative ways to steal cryptocurrency whoever fall to their scheme. The saying "Not Your Keys Not Your Coins" isn't wrong because if you are not the one who has access to the wallet then they can freeze your balance or take your funds by saying that your account is banned for example because of violating their rules and will seize the funds in your account.

First, you are welcome to the great forum ( Bitcointalk)  and trust me every information you seek for is here all you need do is check all the board I mean there are a lot of board and each is unique in there own way and the name of the various board explain or give a brief summary of what is been discuss. In Bitcoin we have investment and trading I may not know which one you would wish or want to learn but trust me trading is so complex I don't mean to scare you but that's the truth, investing is pretty cool and it's different from trading and I suggest you go for investment unless you can afford to take the risk in trading.

First of all you are welcome to Bitcointalk forum. I see that my fellow members have already given you some guidance on how you go take navigate the forum so I would advise you to go through them very carefully, the most important thing is reading the rules and regulations that is govern the forum because doing that is going to help you know what is wrong and what is right in the forum.

Secondly as a newbie you really need to settle down and focus on learning, don't be too inquisitive about money, because that is one thing that normally makes most newbies to fall into scammers, while because they didn't want to have the basic knowledge about the forum first before earning which is leading them into mistakes.
Exactly take your time to understand the platform, Welcome to the group, Ursler! Yeah, this is a really great community where you can learn about a lot concerning Bitcoin trading, and investment.  You can ask all your questions and have experienced people who have been in the field for a long time answer you.

So one thing I'm going to tell you is don't rush into anything l,, before you reply to a topic try to understand it. Try to do your research and try to write the topic from your understanding, because plagiarism is really frowned at.

So you must not comment on every topic, if it's not coming naturally, just leave it. When you get better understanding, come back and reply to it. Because you don't want to give yourself a bad name on this platform. You don't want to be flagged for plagiarism or AI content.

God is great
And never get into crypto investing if someone randomly contacts you via whatsapp (so-called fake number) and slowly talks you into some kind of investment plan. Chances of losing your money are 100%.
Awareness of scam is one of the things newbies should have knowledge on to overcome scam. Most newbies are desperate to see their self on the top when it comes to cryptocurrency,  and this is the trip scammmers use to penetrate just to have advantage over them. Beginner should have the understand no stranger can fund them on to trade or invest and no stranger will give a free give away, every free offer is just a trap.

Having the understanding of do your own research will surely help newbies not to fall into scam from strangers and not to also fall into scam project. Newbies should try their best to get first hand information about anything they want to engage with in cryptocurrency, having character of trying to know things takes away ignorant and it is only when people are ignorant they fall for scam.

The biggest mistake which is the father and mother of all mistakes for a newbie culminated from greed for money which leads newbies into the hand of scammers and eagerness to become popular on the forum thereby writing lots of post and replies which maybe referred to as spamming. One more thing, trying to teach when you need to learn as for those who are new to cryptocurrency.

Be patient, learn in a process and get the full benefits of the forum. Hope this summary is helpful
