#SWGT PRE-SALE IS LIVE
Welcome mate, I stumble across numerous topics similar as this whereas learning is not difficult if only you’re willing to know more. Asking questions is important but the one fact I don’t joke with is safety, I don’t know the kind of knowledge your seeking for probably op might be referring to forum knowledge or bitcoin in general, situations when a newbie just buy bitcoin it’s like the best move anyone has done while learning, in this situation buying or learning first is a choice but practice makes perfect. Firstly where and how to store you coin is important like avoid storing your coin in an exchange basically you buy and sell only using and exchange nothing else and as time goes you get to read more from higher rank members about the forum and bitcoin.

Do not enter the market when you are not ready yet. One should be financially, mentally, and emotionally ready before he will risk his time and money in the market, otherwise everything will end up a mess.

Also, do your own research so you won't rely to others for your decision making in the forum. Even following pros and legendaries in the forum won't guarantee your success in the forum and in the market, so always do your own extensive research.

It's actually a pleasure to have you among the world largest crypto community on the face of planet earth, and as such, the biggest mistakes you could make as a newbie on this forum are as follows;
1. To chase after Merit for account growth, while forgetting to provide value for forum discussion.

2. To post plagiarism content on the forum without proper referencing, as it's highly prohibited.

3. To think Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, because Bitcoin is literally not a get rich quick scheme, but rather an asset of value..

If you’re looking to start your journey on bitcoin it’s better you seek more knowledge about the cryptocurrency market and how it works generally. A lot of links have been provided for you to go through to serve as guidance through your process of learning. Firstly, make you you prioritize privacy and security because those are the two things that when left vulnerable you can lose everything you have owned in crypto. Focus more on investing in bitcoin rather than trading, learn the technology and take your first step of investment in bitcoin after learning the basics, because their guides are more important than owning the bitcoin itself.

Everyone here came to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general even though the forum was created for bitcoin discussion in specific. The cryptocurrency market is large so other sectors of it are all discussed here so that you’re not left out or not know the happenings around it. You can always ask questions, reply to comments where you can also share your view and understanding on a particular topic. You’ll become better with time, but it depends on your enthusiasm to learn.

Avoid trading as a newbie, if you want to trade, learn and become experienced with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency before you would think of, trading is for professionals. Start with investment into Bitcoin and other cryptos with utility case if you would like to dive into the world of altcoins. Lastly, don't trust anyone with your funds such as keeping on centralized exchange platforms, it is liable of getting seized, hacked, go bankruptcy and whatever story that may come up in the crypto space when your coins are gone.

Take your time to learn, you will surely become experienced at some point if you give it your time. Welcome to the largest Bitcoin family.

Doing well in the forum lies a lot on your purpose of joining the forum. If you're here to learn and grow your knowledge on Bitcoin and the blockchain technology that backs it up like you've said, you're in the right place and I'm certaim you won't be misled. Learning how to invest in Bitcoin doesn't take much technical process and just by knowing how Bitcoin volatility works  and getting details on how to invest such that your asset is protected from hackers and those with dark intentions as well as ensuring that you've secured your seed phrase, it's going to be a good foundation you will have to set first.

If you're interested in trading, then it will be best that in addition to whatever information you will be previledged to get from the forum that you attach yourself to someone close to you that's already in the system that can mentor you and walk you through the basics of trading do you don't risk too much as a beginner.

As regarding your stay in the forum, we're a family and as long as you're not breaking any rules that have been outlined and that a lot of people have already suggested that you go through them, you're certainly going to have a good time in the forum. Just avoid the use of AI and don't fake what's not the case. The rest of the guidelines have been pinned in most of the board that you can go through them. Don't be afraid to start, you will get to learn a lot of things as you progresses in the forum.

welcome to the forum.
are you a Bitcoin researcher? or are you just interested in Bitcoin? actually, you can share your knowledge here. but if you feel still not confident, you can read more. even if you are lucky what you are looking for may be here. if maybe not there after you search for it, you can create a thread like this to create an interesting discussion.

one thing I want to say, do not create a thread if you are not able to end it. meaning if you are satisfied with all the answers, then lock your thread. many beginners create threads and leave them. without even bothering to make a reply to their thread.

To begin with, read all the sticky topics, because there is all the important information for every beginner, whether it concerns the forum itself or in general some things that are important when it comes to cryptocurrencies.
I did not read all sticky threads but some of them.

I actually meant all the sticky topics in the B&H board, although if something is "sticky" then it is important and worth reading regardless of which board it is in. If every beginner just came to the forum with the idea that maybe all the answers already exist and that they just need to read instead of asking questions, they would already show that they are ready for a new journey. There are of course exceptions, we should never generalize.

One of big mistakes make by newbies is don't secure their accounts well or they customize their account profile settings and show their email addresses to the public.

I recommend don't do it.

Forum account: security, privacy, and recovery. Latest months, Power Glove built 2FA that was deployed by theymos and newbies must secure their accounts with 2FA too.
Crypto security: Passwords and Authentication

Use strong password for their account and secure it more with 2FA.

And never get into crypto investing if someone randomly contacts you via whatsapp (so-called fake number) and slowly talks you into some kind of investment plan. Chances of losing your money are 100%.

I did not read all sticky threads but some of them.

Cadaver20 has a thread on all stick threads that are helpful for newbies like you said.
[Bitcointalk sticky threads] Newbies - read before starting.

When you have learned the basics, I advise you to start reading from the beginning of the forum (Bitcoin discussion) and go down - but do not burden yourself with reading as much as possible in as little time as possible, learning with understanding still requires time and patience.
Learn basics about Bitcoin can be started with
Learnmeabitcoin.com for beginners. It has a page for advanced users too.

Accomplished newbie to cryptocurrency? I don't think so . Moreover you are still seeking for knowledges to be able to explore in the crypto industry which I believe is the basic reason why you are here amidst others.

To facilitate and actualize your goals on the crypto industry, I would suggest you take them sequentially so that it does not become incomprehensive for you to acquire.
I am trying to say it would be difficult for you to learn about crypto trading and investments at the same time so, try be specific of which you want and gradually I hope you will achieve your dream.

As for the forum helping guides, you can read on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=help for help.

If you don't read them (and don't understand) it will surely be the biggest mistake, because you will start using the forum in the wrong way (against the rules).

Forum wise many have given you advice on steps and guidelines to prevent an action that would be considered "Biggest mistake"

I will dive in to little things outside the forum
As a newbie
If possible avoid trading but if not make sure you research extensively and fully equipped
But I would stress avoid trading.
Don't damble on shitcoins
Invest on the future rather than been swayed by the now.
Study, study and after studying, Do more studying
Ask questions (not something that could be easily found in the web like what's cryptocurrency)
There are many others but as you use the forum you get to learn from others post
Don't forget Bitcoin isn't just a Cryptocurrency.
If we akin to Biology is how Humans are all considered animals
But we know we more than that.

Success would be easy if you really follow the forum rules that were suggested by other members in this thread.

Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k
the double quotes in your title thread makes me think that you have used ChatGPT or any other AI to write it up. I would advise you to not use AI generated content to get more post counts.
In the end, what matters is the quality of your post than quantity. I have seen members here with 10k+ posts and only 1k merit. I personally am doing far better than them.

Also, as a newbie, you should avoid creating duplicate threads and start learning by reading replies from already existing threads. This will help you too.
Good Luck though.
