Yeah, it's quite possible if the bitcoin will be replaced by another altcoin. If altcoin is better then we must accept it. We have to be open with new technology especially if the technology is more sophisticated and qualified. When we are better attendance then our work becomes easier. Just now, actually bitcoin technology is already lost with some altcoin. Bitcoin just wins its popularity and still earns the trust of most of the community. Of course, this is a sign of bitcoin to be willing whenever its position is replaced by another altcoin. It's all just waiting for the right time. Especially the bitcoin price of emissions is a sign that more and more people are losing confidence with bitcoin.
I agree that Bitcoin could be replaced but like you've said, by some better and more sophisticated technology.
At the moment I don't see such technology present or even coming any time soon so.I don't think Bitcoin will be replaced in near future.
Some say that Etherum has better and more reliable technology but so far this actualy hasn't been proved and Bitcoin is still keeping the throne. I beleive it will stay so because it's not only technology that matter. Price, acceptance, regulation, implementation in real life and businesses, this is all important.
