I will say fun here because there's nothing we can compare with having gambling without fun, this is the most aspect every gambler stick to and got tied with gambling such that they continue to gamble even when they aren't winning, this is because they have find it interesting that they cannot do to avoid this pleasure it gives especially when they really needed it to get away boredomness and idleness, gambling also helps to keep fresh memories and exercise brilliancy in doing things and finally it helps me build courage in taking risk.

For me, I mostly gamble on sportbetting, and live matches or virtual games to be precise, while taking advantage of the fluatuating constant change of odds since it is a live playing game, just for entertainment and fun, while giving it a chance looking forward to seeing of I could double some cash. Moreover, I always set aside a specific amount of money which I gamble with whenever I intend gambling, while staying conscious ensuring not gamble beyond what I could afford not to miss, as gambling is strictly a game of pure luck

Just a few bet here and there and am ok. I do not see myself at gambling houses every time like what you are doing. If not that I read where you said you have a pattern in place that make you control your gambling habit I would have said yours has turned into an addiction. But let me ask you Op, is there anything you can point to that you have achieved through gambling since you said you enjoy spending all your cash on it. Do you have any physical projects or properties you can point to that you own with winnings from gambling all this while?

I keep myself motivated with lots of fun that I get whenever I gamble. I'm not addicted to it, I hardly do it 2-3 times per week but whenever I do it, I gamble for fun and with the money that's nothing to me. However, I keep a target of doubling or tripling my money and then I stop doing it. I have tripled my money most of the times and withdrew immediately because I am neither addicted not greedy when I do it. Sometimes, I triple it in half an hour, sometimes it goes on for a day, but I never try back to recover what's lost. That's a completely new approach by me and you should also adopt this habit.

Money. For sure many of us  have the same drive. But also, there are people who are gambling for entertainment purposes and most of them are the rich ones. Those who has not much of money are mostly hoping of becoming rich in this industry maybe becausee of the impression created by this activity to those who are non-gamblers. This might be because of those gamblers who made fortune out of this industry. Problem on the other hand is that; the number of people losing are way bigger than those few people who won big time. Going back with the drive, despite of the unfortunate relaity in this industry wherein many are losing and still being addicted into this activity, it simply shows how addictive an activity could be as long as there's money involved.

What about you guys? Do you have any addiction to gambling? What drives you to gamble? Is it the long shot of having a big profit coming in or is gambling simply a way of spending time for you?
I don't and I'm an addicted gambler.

There are many factors that drives me to gamble, sometimes it's all about my gut feel that I'll win. Relieving stress but I have gone and removed long time ago about me taking big wins in gambling.

I have no longer that hope in desiring winning much big with gambling. And as what you've asked in the latter, it is most likely that. Just a way to pastime.

All gamblers want to win gambling, I don't believe they don't think about winning gambling. Maybe others don't expect to win gambling, but somehow they still think "I hope I win or get the jackpot"

Although others gamble just for fun and the desire to win follows, for example, for me it's just a hobby for me I'll gamble with the budget I only have, but even so, I still hope that I will win or make me lucky in my gambling.

This is based on my experienced and the people I asked about their motives when they started to play, majority of them are playing and taking their chance to make money, even if they say they want to have fun they are still motivated to make money because there are opportunities to make money on gambling it's being presented to you, but once you understand the house edge and your chances to win against the house you will realize that you have to shift your mindset from making money to just enjoy the game, that is after you lose huge money, and chasing losses is futile.

If this is true. You are probably on the addiction acceptance phase which you are just gambling base on your urge due to addiction and not on winning. It's odd to have this kind of thinking because the reason why most of the people that became interested on gambling is due to potential quick profit and removing this goal on gambling is like you are turned into zombie that playing blindly.

Past time or not. Money is still precious that you can use on other necessity and not a donation to casino.

People gamble for all kinds of reasons. Some people enjoy the excitement and thrill of taking risks and trying to win money, while others simply want to relax or get away from life's problems. It's clear that gambling is an enjoyable hobby for some, but it's also easy to see how gambling can quickly turn into the very thing the gambler was trying to avoid. The bottom line is that there are many reasons for gambling and plenty of different ways to gamble. Just don't lose sight of that obvious point: enjoy it all in moderation!

There are many factors that drives me to gamble, sometimes it's all about my gut feel that I'll win.
And from experience, I can tell how frustrating and disappointing it is to have this kind of feeling and In the end, end up loosing all your money  Grin.
This has happened to me several times when I was still pretty new to gambling, I can remember the number of times I found numbers on the road or saw some numbers in my dream and assumed they were a sign, that if I play those numbers in the lottery, I would win, I visit the lottery shop and bet all my money on those numbers and at the end of the day, win nothing... Gambling has indeed taught me lots of lessons.. Lol

Right now, I've resort to gambling just for the fun of it, though many times, the urge to gamble with a mindset of making some profit still do come, but I've learned to control my feelings better now.

I don't know if anyone here did not become a gambling addict at one point in their gambling times, I don't want to be a hypocrite I become one in a short period of time because it's normal for anyone who gambles and has tasted winning a good of money during his gambling time, but I eventually learn that if you can't change the way you play, trying to win money and chasing losses you will eventually lose yourself, the only thing that can regain your confidence and peace of mind is to have total control of how you gamble and the amount you are playing.

I used to gamble with big numbers; was online 16h/day and betting on obscure basketball or soccer competitions but luckily could stop myself without any real loss. Nowadays, I really just gamble for fun as it is always a bit more exciting to follow a game even when you only placed a small bet on it.

What about you guys? Do you have any addiction to gambling?

Though I have a passion for gambling, but I do not consider my passion for it an addiction, as it is very easy for me to withhold myself from gambling for several days, weeks or even months, so clearly I am not addicted to gambling, though I have a natural passion for it.

Like I stated above, gambling for me is derived from passion, though I can not deny the fact that most times, the need to make some profit fuels my zeal or desire to gamble, but in average, passion for it is what has been my main purpose of gambling.

I do not know about you guys, but I gamble because I like it and because it is a hobby as well as an addiction. I'm good with myself, as I already admitted to having an addiction but tried to find and apply techniques to avoid getting off track and spending all of my money on gambling. It's quite easy for me to control my gambling anxiety as I already follow strict rules that help me stay on the line.

I don't gamble that much but I do know that most times when I do, I gamble just because I want to entertain myself but I always do it when I'm looking for a way to earn some cash ( but in rare occasions though). The maximum I've ever gambled was ~$50, I know it's small but I do that so as not to get addicted to it and I believe that ones I become addicted to it that fun vibes will no longer be there.

I guess that is one of the major mistakes people do around gambling. To gamble as a way of getting additional money. I say that is wrong, as you should not rely on gambling to make money. Making money simply by gambling is not feasible as you will innevitabelly make some mistakes and lose much of your money. Although there are several techniques to stay on the profit, this is actually not a sure thing. So, if you are in need of money, just stay away from gambling.

I have some friends who rely on gambling, but I wouldn't say it is stable; they rely on cockfighting and sometimes sports betting (basketball); they don't have any jobs, but they are able to bring money back to their houses when they return, though it isn't much; I am amazed because they are really lucky, but sometimes they don't have money to bring, but most of the time I noticed it they can with foods. Casino gambling, I believe, is very different from what my friends do because they have a greater chance of winning.

  -  I feel different when I gamble, because sometimes I gamble because I get tricked by other winners here in crypto gambling, there are also times when I gamble because I feel lucky on the day I gamble, but the result is the opposite of what I thought.

I don't know if it's also sometimes because I can't help it, it's like my routine is looking for it, but I only spend a small amount on gambling when I lose, I really can't stop.

Maybe you feel different since in gambling scene we feel how competitive the people are and they are pretty serious on what they are doing since many really want to win. But in my case I only gamble when I bored and maybe I spend a few hours and get out once I'm satisfied with current result of the game. Maybe try to lessen up your game time since sometimes making it as a routine like you cannot complete your day without playing gambling can lead on addiction so for not getting into worse situation have a self control.

And luckily, I don't have a gambling addiction now because I got over it a few years ago. And now, if I want to gamble, I can immediately gamble by depositing some money and stopping whenever I want.

It reminds me that scene from "Coffee and Cigarettes" movie, the one with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits, and discussion about smoking:
"You know, the beauty of quitting is... now that I've quit, I can have one. Cause I've quit."

I gamble because I want to feel what other people feel, where they can have fun with gambling while they get wins or loses. I know that is the result of playing gambling and I will accept the outcome.

And luckily, I don't have a gambling addiction now because I got over it a few years ago. And now, if I want to gamble, I can immediately gamble by depositing some money and stopping whenever I want. Profits can come in the short term or long term, depending on your luck. But gambling is not a way to spend time that is good for you because, after all, gambling can eat up your money.

My biggest motives are escapism and having fun. I don't gamble to make big money. This is simply delusional.

I agree with that. What gambling gives is a instant (and quote easy accessible) portion of adrenaline and fun. You win or not, you always receive emotions. And saying 'I like it' most of us just like an adrenaline kick. Gambling is quite easy way to get it, without too much involvement (like in car/moto racing, parachuting, or any other x-sports).

I like gambling as a form of entertainment also as I never spend more than 100 dollars as my weekly bankroll.I play slot machines and yesterday I won about 50 dollars with the minimum bet of 0.10 in The Green Knight slot which before I have been losing consistently but I have started to like more sport betting again as I am experimenting with both teams to score yes bets and so far I have won about 7 out of 10 bets that I have made so I am happy with these results.

I had addiction before for the slot machines but the fact that I play rarely now I think I have gotten full self control again and I don't have anxiety or addiction problems from quite some time now.
