if your mood is pushing you to gamble, but there is no money in your pocket, are you going to continue playing gambling and borrow money from your friends or your family, actually everything depends on having more money, usually when people have more money and not know what to use it for they usually fill their time playing gambling the same way I do, sometimes when I get a bonus from my salary at my job, I use it to play gambling 

And you will be hard-pressed to find a person that has gambled before and that has not lost control at least on one occasion when they were gambling, so I do not consider this a problem by itself as it is part of the learning process we need to go through, now this can become problematic if the person keeps making the same mistake again and again, since at that point we could be talking about a person that is in the process of becoming an addicted gambler, which has to be avoided at all costs as overcoming an addiction is one of the most difficult things a person can do.

There are the gamblers that would like to bet with big amount because they're living the mentality of YOLO. They believe and think that it's the resort that they can do because that's what they'll be doing to get themselves satisfied with what they have remaining on their pockets.
It's highly unlikely that they'll just stop gambling and as the title says, there's a reason that motivates them to keep on gambling. Either they're an addicted gambler or they just want to chase their losses.

I have no addiction problem , but I have some irresponsible decision sometimes that I mostly valued as mistake in gambling.

But now that I have become more mature ? nope I am not having  difficulties  In my playing instead I only valued those as happiness and enjoyment ..

buy more time to become happy in gambling than focusing in winning that harder to gather.

If you deal with gambling without proper knowledge ? then you'll end up addicted as you mentioned being former addict , what made you decide or what helped you to quit or change?

but what we wanted to see is that addicted that knows how to handle His cases and learned His lessons .

This is why one should only gamble with money you can avoid to lose. When it's come to gambling, nothing is sure. The least team can beat the most superior team. Take a look at the case of Argentina and Saudi Arabia in this world cup. Assuming one bet is entire life on Argentina to win, imagine the loss and what will become the person after the game. Addict gambling is bad and can cause one to commit suicide. It should be stopped.

when you will go to gamble for fun then you will also loss your money. so you must accept this risk and go for gamble. if you can afford that loss then you will able to enjoy gambling as fun. but if it hard you when you loss then you will not bale to enjoy gambling as fun. This will make you more angry and you will try to recover your losses thus slowly getting addicted to gambling and at some point you will be in big danger.  So gambling should be done with caution

Several people I met told me that gambling is the same as trading crypto which means they don't use that money that they can use for the necessities of life. so with that strategy, if you lose all your money, you can continue your life without any burden to think about what have you to eat tomorrow. I used to say gambling for fun several moments ago, but when I think about it again, it's like a bullshit quote, because Fun if we are winning, and stress when we are loose. So, to overcome it, use the money that you can't use for life definitely will not burden you.

Most gamblers are addicted to it. Is only few ones that can control themselves. I was once a gambling addict. Then I wasn't enjoy gambling because I feel so sad when I lose.. It take time before I can control this. Now I take gambling as fun because I gamble with money I can avoid to lose.

I’m an occasional gambler and I just gamble every time I have extra money which I think making money drives me to gamble more, and some times just a way of spending my free time. I consider gambling as for fun only and not so serious about it, I’m not expecting that much as well about making profit I just go with the flow and consider my luck as my basis to avoid any greed and addiction.

I commented on this in another topic, if you consider yourself addicted it means that the person has already been to a doctor and it was the doctor who consulted you, analyzed and came to the conclusion that the person unfortunately suffers from addiction to gambling, but for the person goes to the doctor in most cases and because the person starts selling things from his house or work or from relatives or friends or even anything he finds on the street to be able to continue playing, if you haven't reached the level of stealing yet, sell goods whether yours or other people's to keep playing so you're not addicted to gambling

maybe you're just a person who just felt a little more willing to gamble and since you still have control of yourself then you haven't reached the level of being considered addicted to gambling, but you always have to try on yourself even for how long can you live without gambling, this is a very important test because you will be able to know if you are addicted to gambling or can you live normally without gambling

for example, come one day and say to yourself: I'll spend 2 months without playing anything, and after 2 months without playing you'll see that you don't depend on gambling, but if you can't stay long without gambling then you have to take a lot take care because you may be addicted to gambling and that is the first step towards gambling addiction, a path in which the only way to cure is stopping for a long period of time without gambling, it takes years without gambling for the person get cured of gambling addiction

I definitely agree on this. Gambling without wanting any profits is useless, because everyone’s gamble for fun and profits and that’s the reality. I believe even millionaires still secretly aim to win in gambling, but if they don’t, that won’t also be a big deal for them since they have lots of money to lose in the first place. But when you start seeing gambling as your main source of living, surely when you start losing, you’ll never get the entertainment you expect to get because you are driven mostly by greed.

I am quite happy with your confession. I think, we are gambling addicts. in fact, to this day we are still gambling. basically, I grew up in an environment that was no stranger to gambling. At that time, almost all gambling was completely traditional even if there was a land casino. only at certain locations, and even then the only one in our city center.

however, often with age and experience I have my own definition of gambling. I think many people don't realize it, the problem is that most people play gambling just to get as many wins as possible. I also like poker, before seviral slots now. it seems like almost all types of gambling, I've played.

until finally, I figured out for myself what I was gambling for. this question, gamblers rarely realize. if it's for money, the fact is I'm working and get monthly money as salary. so what for, for fun. but what needs to be remembered, with a budget that has been prepared to lose. if we win, it means we're lucky and that's a real bonus from a fun hobby. if you lose, simply quit and come back another time. and I guess, that's how I view gambling.

My mood drives me into gambling. When i am over excited i gamble and sometimes during that state of happiness i get lucky but when i am moody i avoid gambling. I don't gamble because it is fun to gamble but because i feel like gambling that way i get enough fun in that even if i lose since i played in my happy mood i will remain happy.

It all starts by someone wanting to try gambling and to have fun yet when they start in a way where they lose big money and they want to recover it,they chase loses and by doing so they risk of becoming addicted.The motive is usually for someone to try something different,having fun at gambling but things precipitate in a really fast way during gambling and thus the risk of someone becoming addicted is really common in such behavior.Unfortunately is also true that it can turn one life upside down really fast,so despite the initial motive maybe to have fun the risks to change your life for the worse is really big and present here.

As fellow friends, we want to avoid seeing a big loss, and we will limit the number of bets. This is a natural thing because I see it as a form of protection that we can give one another so that we can still enjoy playing gambling together with friends and also, we don't lose a lot of money at the gambling table.

But when gambling against the computer, I am always reminded by my friends not to use too much money and vice versa. We don't want to see either of us lose control of the game and lose all of our money. And if one of us starts to look confused or feels his emotions start to rise, we invite him to go outside to get some air and buy him a drink or food to relieve his tension.

Yes you are right that mate and that is reality as we all know once a gambler get addicted they  are only realize when there are one scenario in their life that they can not forget, for example from rich to poor, from lucky to in lucky then there's a chance that they can realize that they are alewsy addicted to gambling. That's why if we are a wose gambler we won't bet bigger amount amount cause not all the time we will win.

That's the denial that's usually happening to all of us. Good thing that those have noticed that it's not doing themselves good, realizes it.
But those that don't, they'll take time until they finally have come to see the reality that it's not doing good on them and have to admit it themselves that they're already addicted and it's hard to control.

I am not accusing anyone here but just talking about the reality even myself thought I have control on my activities but only I realised when it took over me like I am talking about lifestyle and others. When we talk about gambling addiction its more sensitive because it involves money so can turn anyone's life upside down in no time.

Realization will struck someone who's too addicted in gambling. When he's got nothing left anymore and you're right that when he's completely drowned.
But if he says that he's making sure that he's in control and he's not losing that much, he can confidently say that to others and tell the truth of his situation. Although some gamblers are only telling that just to let others think that they're doing okay. This is for those that are hiding the reality of what they're experiencing.
