The R9 390 could be a good compromise. It is GCN 1.1 and Opcl 2.0. So it is similar to R9 Fury, which is 1.2 and 2.0

The R9 nano costs about $530. The ROI is much longer than R9 390.

Ok..I don't know much about mining but I was once told that if there is no mining that's the end of Btc. How do the whole mining thing works and how much can someone earn in one hour?

you don't mine bitcoin anymore, only chinese giant farm mine it, because they have plenty of money to buy asic, you mine with your gpu altcoin and dump for bitcoin, doing this will guarantee a etter profit than mining bitcoin with asic

Alright.. Thanks for the info and i want you to know that i dont know much about mining with R9nano or with GPU altcoin. So, i will be glad if you can explain to me in details

That's a bit of a loaded question, you need to do some research as there is no proper answer.  Mining is pretty simple, it is just everyone's quest to find the next block that contains all the current transactions to be included on the block chain (see ledger).  If you find that block then you are rewarded with coins and all the transaction fees associated with it, each coin is unique to the reward.

How much per hour?  Jeese look up hash rates of asic miners, gpu cards (for altcoins) and find a profit calculator, subtract electric and thats how much.

If mining stop then the coin dies, no miners.. no transactions , thats it finished.  Mining will continue until it is no longer profitable, with bitcoin there are entire warehouses dedicated to it.

Hi Snrs, i'm newbie and i signed up for this forum so i could know more about btc. Could guys pls teach me how to do the mining thing. thx

you need a good gpu 280x or 970 or the new fury from amd, if you want a cheap gpu you can buy the r9 370s
then you need a miner, you can search here for the etheruem miner, and then poin it at one pool, i suggest supernova, dwarf is holding 51%

The new R9 nano is the most efficient card. But it is too expensive. But the resell value is also higher.

Thanks for the info but how much does the R9 Nano cost and how would I do the pool. Besides, can't I be the my miner by myself since I have the time and I will also need you to explain it all to me to my understanding

Etherum with R9 390 (31MH/s) and 7970 Lighting at 25MH/s, solid enough.

I prefer cloud mining if there is with reasonable price.

That is very fast for the 7970 at 25 MHz/s. Does it have modified BIOS to reduce the memory timing? Usually it is just 23-24MH/s.

No. Clocked to 1150/1600 (Lighting)

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -F http://192.168.1.15:8080/eth1 -G --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 8192

Etherum with R9 390 (31GH/s) and 7970 Lighting at 25GH/s, solid enough.
How much does this get you in terms of dollars per hour?

I just did an estimate for my GPU: 0.20 dollar per year if I mine bitcoin.

I derped with the ghs. I get about $ 11-12 a day

I mine Ethereum. the price is quite high, so it is profitable. The volume is very large in Poloniex, so I can sell it easily.

Thank you, is there cloud mining for Ethereum?

The genesis mining sells 100MH/s for $4400. That was an increase from $1700 previously. I think it is quite expensive.
