So far, using the ETH is only for saving and holding. ETH is a worthed altcoin to invest and I will wait till the price can hit more than $800. This year is so hard to raise the price. but, it is sure that ETH will be high with some holdings.
Right now, most available and simplest crypto to purchase here in our nation is bitcoin and eth so I purchase eth since it's less expensive than btc with our fiat and afterward exchange to trades for exchanging. I'm additionally abundance seeker so larger part of tokens needs eth before I can exchange to trade. Also, Eth is one of few coins I hodling for venture.

no doubt just for trading, for me just for short term invest
but i still will keep some, maybe future price will go double or triple 
At the moment i use it only for trading and to join legit ICO. In my country crypto is not regulated yet so i dont use it for daily transaction. ETH can be good too for long term.investment for investor who does not have times to trade because the price has potential to go to 10 times more in the long run.

I am using ethereum is for buying ico coin, always use ethereum as the payment for ico transaction. I have joined many ico last one years and always use ethereum as my payment and its easy for transaction.
I don't use my eth for anything. I can't invest because there is no experience. I only hold my eth. I will sell all my eth when the price goes up. Most of the time we use ethereum for gas from your erc20 token which is sent to a trading site that you will exchange your token.
I currently have some investment in ethereum despite the disheartening situation it is presently in. I also use ethereum as gas for transactions on my wallet. I likewise use ethereum for trading because I prefer to use ethereum to trade than bitcoin.

Right now I'm trying to hodl as much ETH as I can, because for the end of the year it will surely rise, eth is an extremely useful currency to keep a price this low for a long time, so I think that in December they will rise along with bitcoin and continue to lead the market as usual.

I will use Ethereum for trading fee transaction that's why I have always ETH in my wallet besides of holding it for long term , so it seems a double purpose for holding it , and I only trade if it is already profitable .
Well, I have money invested in Ethereum , and I also invest in HYIP projects, where you can quickly raise money well, the risks are the same

I recently was in a place where my online banking didn't work, but I urgently needed to send some money on a bank card. So I just sold some of my Eth on an exchange and put the relevant bank card as a recipient. It all perfectly worked.
I know that I could have sent some Eth without having to change it to USD at the unfavorable exchange rate, but sometimes you are forced to do things you don't like.
