for me personally, the etherium is a bargaining chip between tokens and bitcoin. in connection with the latest news, I try not to keep the etherium long.
For me, I'm using Etherium for investment into ico and using etherium for buying new tokens and I also using it for trading.

For current situation i just used little bit (small amount) of my ETH to purchase some token for the best, the right and promising ICO project , and the rest of my eth i keep it (as invest). To purchase some token i have to read ,learn and get info for the Price ICO project otherwise i will lost my money for scam project. For trading

The main reason that I like Ethereum is because of the long-term potential - long-term investment.
But, in general, he is my primary method of converting tokens from campaigns into something useful, such as investing in ETH or simply trading.
At the moment I do not use this coin because I do not have it. I sold all my stocks of these coins in order to save my capital from a decrease.
For me, I am using it for investment purposes and an asset and where it is applicable I use it as a currency to pay for goods and services. And I use Ethereum for trading for a long-term since I have a hope that one fine day the value increases and gives us profits that's why I keep all my earnings in ETH. there are also those who follow or buy and sell at the ICO.
Well ethereum and most coin in the cryptocurrency world are really plummeting fast this has to do with the bearish market that has hit the cryptocurrency world so I have some ethereum in my wallet but I think I will hold it

I use to keep eth only for my myetherwallet. I exchange some coins just to collect eth for paying gas. No doubt eth is one of the best altcoins and it can grow more then expectations.
First and foremost for trading, since trading is one of the reasons I am active here. I hold and get ETH also to be changed into fiat so I get some spending money.

Any person invest in the ETH since it has an awful lot of its use. I often either ETH for long-term trade and tried to invest in ICO. Invest in ICO are highly risky. I will only invest if I've done the analysis of the project. If after I analyze the project has very real investors of course I will also be taking part to invest.
Etherium is one of the most potential coins. Some part of Ethereum I use for holding for a long-term investment, and the rest for buying and selling different coins.
ETH for me, some I use to participate in ICO, for daily trading and as a long-term deposit and as the main currency for cash out. And in some cases I use it to purchase tokens and vouchers for payments between my colleagues. and from that ETH can be said as part of my existing assets
A big part of my purchased Ethereum is given in trust for experienced traders. I think Ethereum is still the best. 
On this deep bottom ETH became my long term investment, because i bought here and waiting for a great bullrun in future
