I saw a lot people recommending blockchain.info, coinbase, and localbitcoin wallet, I suggest to all newbie to try Bitcoin Core or Election to experience what is difference between offline and online wallet.
Yes because blockchain.info is one of the most oldest and safest bitcoin wallet nowadays and  it will more secured now that you can sign a message to provide your identity of the address here in bitcointalk.org i love using it is easy to use and it is not hard to use anyway Smiley
Not so safe there is still risk to use online wallet but you can secured your wallet so that hackers can hack your account.. use always 2 factor auth. that can prevent hackers to login to your account.. for me i will suggest to use electrum instead its more safe than online wallet..
I would also prefer using an offline wallet like electrum over online wallets as they give the user full control of their private keys.
While using online wallets, the private keys are shared with them and thereby there is a risk that they might get misused by hackers or the site might crash suddenly.
Online wallet like coinbase are worst as they don't even provide the private keys of their addresses.

Most people prefer blockchain but I love multibit. It is pretty secure and nice. And especially good for newbies. I started using multibit and never stopped.

Well, many people using blockchain because it's easy to use and I'm sure many people out there, the first bitcoin wallet that they have is blockchain, same as me. For me, the best wallet is blockchain.
It's good but if you have more BTC put it in a paper wallet so you don't get stressed out on the regular if someone is willing to hack

Like many people have said, Blockchain is the best wallet in my opinion. It's simplicity coaxed me yet it's 2 step authentication gave me ease of mind.

hi guys,

how i do i choose my wallet plse?

I'm not quite sure if you're asking what I think you're asking. You don't need a how-to for choosing, just go to https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and pick one of your preference. If you're asking on what to choose, I'd recommend electrum.

blockchain is the best choice for the beginner i think.
u just need phone number for wallet authentication code, email for verification, and google authentication if u want add some security for ur account.
i dont know how much u have to pay for the fee of the transaction.

i choose blockchain first and coin base in the second
no matter the wallet you must activate 2FA for maximum security

Yes I agree that we need to use two factor authentication or 2FA but does anybody know how to disable second password in blockchain.info? I forgot that second password and I am not able transfer funds at the moment. Your answers would be very much appreciated.  Smiley

I use blockchain.info online wallet and bitcoin core wallet, I believe that these are the best. I have not used the electrum wallet yet, but I will get more information about it.

blockchain.info is a web wallet so it is not the best in any way. but among the online web wallets i think it is one of the best.

you should start using another wallet if you have more than 0.1 bitcoin and move to a cold storage if it is 0.5+ bitcoin. Electrum is a good choice for both.

Even Electrum and Bitcoin Core are online wallets but they have a difference with other online wallets. The private keys of your addresses never leave your PC and if you install them in a safe PC at first and add a really strong password 13 characters , rest assured they are as good as hardware wallets which offer the user ultimate security for their coins.

Users should stay away from wallets like blockchain.info, xapo, coinbase as they are not really secure. It is someone else who is managing your bitcoins for you.

Lots of people are using blockchain and its majority, and it recommended for those who are new in bitcoin but in my side it will be more safer or better if we are going to support wallets that are based in our country so that it will grow their economy and special promotion to grow more.

More users prefer Blockchain wallet for the easiest accessibility. For the long term holding localbitcoins were preferred for its increased security access as well trading ease.
The problem with these services is that they should never be used as a tool to store coins. And definitely not for the long term.

You at all times should be aware of the dangers of having someone else as the party that controls your coins.

That's why I never use online wallet services to store my coins. Not even for a few satoshis.
