Lol... Grin If IE was better or easier to update we wouldn't have this problem.
IE is easy to update --> Windows Update. IE is just not good enough.

IE is just synonymous with pop ups and porn storms IMO.  You guys know what a porn storm is right?   It is when you have 1 porn page open (maybe you clicked on a pic), and you click to close it and a million pop ups come in filling up your whole screen like a storm.  lol

Probably just cos it's bundled with most new PCs.
Well does this matter that much? Installing a different browser is easy.
Many people don't know how / don't care to install a different browser.
Then the obvious problem are those people.

IE is still used mostly in work places..! where you can't use any external devices on system and you can't download things..! in other words people only use it when they are given with no other option.

I do not use ANY extensions Smiley I don't like any add-ons ... Smiley clean Browser works best.
No it doesn't. This is wrong. There are many useful extension for security and networking (don't forget ad block).

I don't know if it is available in Chrome, but a great security related add-on is NoScript... takes a bit of getting used to in the beginning though.

NoScript is one of the best security addon for FF  .
