Chrome for entertainment, Firefox for web development.
Chrome feels faster for me but a thing I don't like is Chrome's memory consumption. When having open many YouTube tabs, it quickly reaches the 4GB, then it's finally crashing the whole Chrome because it's only a 32 bit process.

I'm not sure about this but I think I read somewhere that Chrome is also spying on his user. The reason for that is supposed to help Chrome find an content or features that the user is looking for.I don't know if thats true but the thought of being spied on is not attractive

It's definitely an overkill. Especially that with the other browsers You can set them to inform You of a new update being available, or turn off updates completely

Well, that was only if you really, really wanted to use Chrome for some reason...  Wink but I agree; for that and a few other reasons I ended up choosing Firefox when I moved out of Opera.

I was using Firefox and then Chrome, currently Opera. What annoys me the most in Chrome is the lack of information as to when the updates are being made

Well, if it really annoys you, you could use something like Comodo and force it to alert you each time the updater tries to run. That is however, probably overkill...  Grin

I'm using Opera one of the fastest browser out there with lots of cool features.

I used Opera for sometime (until version 15 I think). The feature I liked most was having the ability to group tabs - very useful when you have many open at the same time... I haven't been able to find an add-on for Firefox that does the same unfortunately.  Undecided
