Each coin does have their unique features and road map, bitcoin is extraordinary and original. I don't find anything that will be next to bitcoin, there will be some new coins that will be on hype but still bitcoin is unique from those coins that others are suggesting.

There are a lot of good potential cryptocurrencies out there but it's really hard to find out the next cryptocurrency can be good as Bitcoin cause Bitcoin price and trading volume are too high at the moment. If any cryptocurrency can become the next Bitcoin I think it's ETH of course but it'll take very long time, about 10 - 20 years for ETH to be able to replace Bitcoin

No coin can beat bitcoin because if we look at new price of bitcoin it is very high and no one knows how fast it will increase more. Bitcoin is at the top of all currencies and it is saving a lot of money for those who are investing and having profit. For now bitcoin is number one and it will not lose this value ever. It will be the best option for those who are making profit and buying high amount of bitcoin for long profit.

I believe a few altcoins have a potential to match the bitcoin. That are Litecoin, Byteball, Iota, Neo and Ethereum. These coins showing great promise.

I don't think it's a coin will be  next to bitcoin but a chips for world high technology.So that everything will be in electronics process. Whatever transaction will be done in chips so that they will control the whole world. Then can monitor all things through that chips only.

I believe that it will be ethereum. Because ethereum commission is in tens or even hundreds times smaller than bitcoin commission, as well as transactions take place in a matter of seconds or minutes, dont have to wait long and spend huge sums. Judging by the way how ethereum grows, it looks like bitcoin was growing, I think in future ethereum will cost at least several thousand dollars, and maybe even likely ethereum will overtake bitcoin, but for it need time.

I believed bitcoin will remain the king. No other coin will take on its throne. And It will always remain a leading cryptocurrency in the future. I dont know what destiny awaits bitcoin in the future but i still believe bitcoin will always there no matter what. 

If you're talking about the the coin right now then there would be none because if there some coin that's like bitcoin then that coin would be in demand right now and many people will take an interest to it.

At current various coins are emerging as new choice for investors which are having good potential like LTC and ETH are best choices availaible at present but they cannot take place for bitcoin as its a very vast thing to overcome and with a different technology and it will take a long time if we want to do such thing and prices are being dramatically increasing which is not the case with other coins so btc cannot be replaced.

The fist thing come on my mind if heared what coin will be next same as bitcoin is Ethereum. Compared to other cryptocurrency Ethereum has one of the highest volume and price behind bitcoin. Just like bitcoin, Eth has a good developer and there's also some company that accepting Eth. That is why I think Ethereum will be next to bitcoin which is the mother of all coins.

Bitcoin Gold should be on this list, but I don't like its current movement lately. I see some potential with Ripple @ 212.03% growth rate. However, its concept is related with banks that contradicts the purpose of Bitcoin and majority of cryptocurrencies. So, its more likely that it will take years before its value gets to $50. I also like IOTA which price is @ $3.86. But, its getting dumped lately with a -9.27% growth. If this continues, it will be an opportunity for traders to purchase some shares. Once it hit the bottom ceiling, it will probably rise up again.

In my opinion, I would choose ETH, it's actually a rival of Bitcoin. It's created as a smart trading platform, it has many advantages when it is supported by big corporations in the world. Its potential value as well as its trading system is huge. Many predictions also suggest that ETH may overtake Bitcoin in the future. I don't deny Bitcoin Gold but it does not have much potential, the potential of Bitcoin Gold is not comparable to ETH. I think ETH deserves the altcoin to invest next to Bitcoin

two altcoin i believe that will same with bitcoin. number one is ethereum and another one is bitcoincash

Bitcoin cash is just a fake manipulated coin that would not even stand a chance in the long run.
It is not all about the big guy and I really want to see how long they are going to keep up with their manipulations when people start realizing it was not really a coin worth it in the first place.

We cannot say for now which coin will really stand the test of time to be next to bitcoin. Ethereum has been doing well on that spot but anything can happen.

Litecoin , Ethereum, Zcash, Dash, Ripple are some of the best performing cryptocurrencies currently opering in the market. All these cryptocurrencies are working under shadow of their mother currency Bitcoin. Bitcoin has dominated the cryptocurrecy market from last five years. Litecoin is the second best option, it is called as a silver immediate to bitcoin gold. Charlie Lee a former Google employee has created this currency. Its supply is limited to 84 million among them 21 million are in circulation. Its current price is $292. This crypto currency is showing consistency in price since march this year. If anything happens to bitcoin then itecoin will be the best option.

I think next to bitcoin are ETH, DASH, LTC, RIPPLE AND NEO this coins has a potential next to bitcoin however this coins cannot surpass what bitcoin done. If one this coins can attract more investor's and has a charisma like bitcoin probably people will support it as long as they can get benefit. For now it's hard to know what will happen next so the best thing to do right now is to collect those coins.

I believe that coin will be the coin that supports micro-transactions. Of course that will be hyped a lot because a lot of people (apparently) are too conservative about the transaction fee. I would be, too, if I were to send a dollar in bitcoin and pay for another dollar just for that. I think that's one of the things that's limiting bitcoin at a certain degree. It might not be so much but there are people living in third world countries wherein a dollar can already buy you a meal. I know that they shouldn't be here because they can't afford the fee but bitcoin was made for everyone and the poor people belongs to the "everyone" category.

But I still doubt that this coin would get that much market cap. It might get a good amount of investors but I wonder if this coin would function the same way with bigger transactions. It might have a low tx fee for microtransactions because it's calculating the fee using the percentage of the amount to be sent. In that case, transacting bigger amounts means paying for bigger tx fee.

Until a coin gets hyped a lot, or until a coin gets this feature (really low tx fee or a lightning network), then ETH will always be next to bitcoin which isn't such a questionable thing since ETH is hyped a lot and tons of coins are under ETH contract.

I don't see any coin that would be next to bitcoin, but I believe that Ethereum will be the number one rival and coin but will not still go beyond bitcoin until the end. So for those who are interested in trading, just do trading but for bitcoin and the selected altcoins that is on top 5 so you are assured that you will earn.

The next Bitcoin? I think there are only two cryptocurrency can be the next Bitcoin in the future, they are ETH and LTC, let take a look at price increasing percent of ETH and LTC in this year and BTC price as well. In a year, Bitcoin price has increased more than 2000%, it's a very good number but ETH and LTC have increased 4 times more than that, it's more than 8000% in just a year. LOL. If in next few years, ETH and LTC price keep increasing the same with this year I believe that these cryptocurrencies can replace Bitcoin in the future
