It's easy, if I have a family and a kid to raise and fund his/her education and I am not making a lot of money when that time comes then I would definitely stop gambling altogether, helps with the household finances and many other things could've been used for that money anyways. Another condition I can think of is when I have contracted a disease that will require me to have a medical maintenance to check on the symptoms or slowly treat the said disease, like heart disease or kidney disease, this diseases that I've mentioned are definitely going to make anyone stop gambling. There's probably other conditions out there but these two are the conditions that would definitely make me stop gambling.

First, If i'm already struggling financially. Because there's no way to continue playing if I know that I have no money to use for gambling. Well you list all the reason on why gamblers decide to stop since that are major factors why people think about quiting. I'm not a total addicted gambler so I can quit anytime if I feel it. But the most common reason on why I did it is provably the funds availability since if I already see that I'm running out of funds then provably will decide to stop gor a while and thinking about to continue especially when losing a lot of money already with gambling. Other reason maybe if my parents would really be against on what I do since I always follow them because they know more better than me. If they see stop then no question will do it since I don't want to get mad at me since they are old and want to respect them also I don't like to give them stress knowing that they are old enough to receive such thing from me. But what if gambling become a main reason of your failed relationship? are you still willing not to stop just because you are into gambling even before you met her? I don't think so. Another thing that might make me stop is if I feel that I have been spending more time gambling than my work. I'd probably just stay away from it so that I could become a better employee again. But, that ain't happening yet because I usually stop when my deposit balance is wrecked and also I am using the automatic betting feature of the gambling sites so that I can still do things at the house while it's running in the background.
I forgot to think about that problem, Besides the problem of losing or running out of money if we spend too much time and start neglecting work, it is also a bad situation. We can think about taking a break from gambling if conditions like this occur.
