I always do my own research and then invest, as per my recent research i will invest in Cybermiles , why ? because they are going to release testnet result in public on March 30 at 11:45 AM (GMT+8)! and as per their CEO recent tweet cybermiles is 100 times faster than Ethereum.
So i will check their live conference on 30 March to know it more better.

Only the choice of Ethereum and Bitcoin, because only these two coins are appropriate, to make long-term investment. I strongly believe that altcoin beliefs are not as big as, believe in Ethereal and Bitcoin. And should try EOS, NEO, NAS, REBL because it's good project.

Try to study the coins in the market then decide which is the best to invest. Asking for advice from other people will most likely end up in a broke, so it is better that you decide for yourself so that you will have no regrets when the worst comes.

The basic would be choosing a coin with lower total supply which has low price. Better take a look of coins that is to be introduced in the market, also try to join an Initial coin offering (ICO) there were good offers out there. Try to make some good read of the project, there were white papers available that is translated in your language. Coins that has lower price will allow you to get greater volume, just in time (even for just a year) you will see that coin fully grown. Most coin that was and is to be introduced are more better for long term.
I think you should go to the coinmarketcap website to learn more about coinmarketing information and trends. Incorporate information from all contributors in this topic, so that you can make a better decision. Personally I prefer to buy ETH and EOS. I like these two coins because the search trend for these two coins is very high, and their growth momentum is very strong. and many other factors. Wish you a good penny choice.

For me the best cryptocurrency to buy and hold is bitcoin, apart that its more stable than other altcoins, it has been exisiting in the value for a very long time and so one can ensure the survivality. Unlike newly introduced cryptocurrencies nowadays that we don't yet even know if they would thrive or not.

If you're looking for a high gain and at the same time willing to take the risk for holding for one year, then i prefer picking ETH than BTC and some manageable altcoins which have been trading in exchanger for a while such as ETN (Electroneum) or UTK (UTRUST). If you're looking for less risky investment and steady gain then you should purchase bitcoin instead. But at least try to diversify your purchase into a few different coins in my opinion

For me, there are many coins you can use masternode to get additional coins. If you only hold a coin that can only be used for a transaction then you will not get anything except the price increase itself. For that I say immediately buy a coin that is more profitable for you.
