The purpose pf the question I think is to understand how long would it take to get cryptocurrency as the main medium of transaction and what could be the prices of crypto coins in the next 100 years from now. I think that it is pretty obvious that cryptocurrency is a digital form of currency and is the need of the day. It has improved the system a lot and maybe in the years to come, it would have spread around the world with prices high and immense implications.

I dont even think that lot of people can hold their bitcoin in 100 years because once bitcoin get bigger for its price they sell it immediately for to win and not to loss for their funds.
Nobody can do it even if they plan to give BTC to their children and grandchildren. We do not know what will happen to Bitcoin in 2020 and here the guy asked about such a long period.
That is an impossible thing, we cannot know what happened during that time. But it should be noted that when you talk about technology, changes will occur very rapidly. Including changes and revolutions in the financial system in the world. We will reach an era of extraordinary and unexpected sophistication. Cryptocurrencies will become a necessity and there may even be a new technology that will support the needs of the global financial system.
Perhaps it will happen as you say, but by that time we have no longer existed to witness it. I think crypto is changing the lives of many people and can see this as a technological revolution and can be applied very well to our lives. Hopefully it can happen in the next 50 years so we can teach other young people about this market and that generation will change everything related to cryptocurrency.

It is a high risk to hold bitcoin for many years you don't know that exactly gonna happends once it drops and your just invest huge money from it. Lot of people selling on there coins for now to avoid lossing money in market situation and condition.
Well if we are going to look at it's historical past, bitcoin is a good hold for many years. Just look at what happen to early adopters, in 2017 then made a fortune buy just holding bitcoins in the last 5-7 years.
So there's a big possibility that bitcoin could be worth in the next 100 years or so. Remember that bitcoin is scarce and once all the coins are almost mine, there will be more demand that will push the price even further.

100 years is too far for us to know about the future of Bitcoin, but no one knows, we might think BTC will not exist again but end up being like GOLD, we might not be alive again, but what will our future generator remember of us?

But in 100 years I really think that bitcoin is going to be in the history books and the same will be true for the mysterious person that created bitcoin and even after so much time I think they will still try to identify who was the person behind the name of satoshi.

I am sure that everyone on this forum should be above 16 years, which automatically implies that majority of us will not be alive to see what bitcoin would become in 100 years, but at least, it will give us joy to know even in our death that we have laid a foundation down for our generations, will the generation then look back and appreciate us for what we have done down for them through investment?We don’t have to work for ourselves alone and think whatever we need in crypto should be limited to like 20 years maximum, we need to think beyond our own picket alone and see how we can use it to solve problems of a lifetime generation, except we believe that crypto will not be alive to see the 100 years which I do not believe.

Probably we all died and the apocalypse will come at that time. 100 or even 1000 years are somehow too far for us to predict, even though someone will say the future will have anything including technology and shit yet the proof not enough justified.

It was a very wrong statement, even when there was no cryptocurrency there were already rich people and poor people. and it does not mean that then there is a system like this, it provides a fooling perspective. In fact, we also see those who invest in large numbers in the end regret it because do some mistakes, like buy when the price is on top.

In coming 100 years we will surely see one more financial crisis and that will be the time when cryptocurrency will boom and it can also become main steam of currency. So the price can be unimaginable. This can happen in next 10 or 20 years also as we dont have to wait fr 100 years.
I think that has happened in almost every century long period. The financial crisis in 2008, back in the oil price shock period and in the end of Second World War in 1930. So yeah you can expect a financial crisis in the next 100 years as well. And yes there is possibility of great surge in the market value of cryptocurrency and I think that would be the time when crypto will spread more to places where it is not recognized. 
I think even bitcoin won't be around in 100 years and definitely not 1000 years. I am super excited about space exploration right now and we have already managed to send multiple rovers to mars so far and I am sure soon we will manage to send people too, if you calculate it properly you do not even have to send someone with full on force of pushing, you can just calculate exactly how much the push/pull atmospheres and worlds have and that way you can leave a spaceship somewhere with zero power and it will slowly go to mars.
You can of course make it faster by pushing it harder with fuel but it will take up too much fuel and is totally unnecessary. Maybe alternative energy will have a say in that regard. If we go to space and manage to build a colony in mars and than other places than crypto will become less useful.

I think this is too far to predict because 100 years to come is very far away, no matter how we will not feel it. and it will not have any effect on us who live today.
so it will be better if the time span is not too far away, for example 10 to 20 years ahead, so that we who discuss it may still be able to feel the prediction.
We are all die who born this year and last few decades so what ever happens to the cryptocurrency we cannof know that. That is right better for us to predict what happens after few decades because it is really good for us because maybe for sure will still alive after some decades but we need to take care cryptocurrency for the next generation. In 100 hundred year time, I believe that blockchain technology and cryptocurrency would have been 100% adopted and would have already solved many problems that would ache led to the financial crisis you talked about; we might not even see such financial crisis in existence.One of the benefit of cryptocurrency is not to serve as payment processor alone, majority of us have already used it to solve on or two of our financial crisis that would have been left unresolved without cryptocurrency, and as each and every one of us keeps doing this, it will reduce the impact financial crisis will have on the economy in the future, till its uniformly disappears.
