My fingertips are all thumbs, its an unfortunate affliction but I think phones have a little bit further to go to be fully utilized for all their strengths. A complete hands off phone via various means would be a force multiplier, not directly relevant to gambling but my opinion in general is that phones are limited by their narrow access, touch method. Voice control is a thing but further improvement and AI is required I guess, we'll get there imo.
Till then yes desktop and web access is quite vital especially when its gambling for money I cant be making a costly mistake because I was eating or something
We all know that the two had their merits and demerits and just as you have mentioned, you can't compare to ease in typing while using desktop to that of mobile phones, your fingers may be paining especially when doing that for a longer time, then there are dome features in gambling in which the desktop could give you full access to use and enjoy than the mobile version, most especially when it comes to some certain functions with the use of the key board for multifunctional purpose, but if most preferred, having the two is very good.
Having the two is the best always, every serious internet user does have a smart phone and a computer anyways, this is because like you said, there are some features on a gambling site that is hidden to mobile users, and they can only enjoy such feature only when they visit the casino site on a computer.
When it comes to typing as well, computer is the best as it offers a faster means of typing, but i still can not deny the fact that there are indeed many mobiles who have mastered the craft of typing really fast on mobile devices, how fast a user is able to type on a mobile phone can sometimes be also determined by the type of keyboard software and its settings, that the user is using.
Like i said in my previous comments, generally, computer is the best device to gamble on, but when convenience becomes really important, then mobile phones are simply the best .
