I'm with you, I'm definitely a desktop guy! I find desktop applications to be more secure and efficient for my needs. However, I understand why some people prefer using their phone. It could be due to accessibility or simply a matter of personal preference. Regardless, it's important for developers to cater to the needs of both desktop and mobile users to provide a positive user experience
Also, they are out of the house more often, making it impossible for them to take their desktop with them. Maybe they could use a relatively small, portable laptop but they'd probably be more comfortable with their phone. The important thing is that we can choose which one we want to use to provide the comfort we want. Each casino's developers have also considered this, making the casino a user-friendly casino for desktop and mobile phone users.

Personally, I am more comfortable with  my phone, I think that's because it's more mobile and gives more convenience than the desktop (The convenience here is on road).
Doesn't mean I don't use my desktop though, it totally depends on the application and location at the time.

I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

I think it totally depends on what make you more comfortable and what you're used to. For someone who has been using mobile for most of their day to day activities then they'll fancy using mobile application instead of desktop and the same can be said about people that are used to working with desktop. I love mobile because they can be used at any moment in time without drawing too much attention to yourself.

Let take for instance I want to place a bet, I'll be more comfortable doing that in any public location with my mobile phone than having to bring out my laptop, set it up then start navigating through the site. I'll be too uncomfortable with that as people immediately judge you when they see you accessing gambling platforms.

Depending on the conditions, I am comfortable using both desktop and mobile solutions. For example, it is sometimes convenient for me to play poker on my mobile device. Especially now, most modern smartphones have a large screen diagonal.
Yes sir, you have spoken the truth because as a result of the advancement of the era, i.e. as a result of the use of modern technology, the mobile phone skins have been made suitable for the users by the mobile companies. As a result, the same programming that was done through computers in the past is now being done through mobiles. Moreover, one of the advantages of using a mobile phone is that you can carry this small device wherever you want. Moreover, all the facilities that gambling sites currently have are mobile phone friendly. So it works even if you don't currently use PC for Gambling.

Pinch to zoom is a thing but nothing beats the convenience brought by a large screen courtesy of a desktop monitor. I have been gambling for quite a while and have been a gamer for the most of my life, I have always appreciated the large screens of desktop, especially when I gamble. Although when I want to play on the go, like let's say in a subway or on a bus, I can always gamble using my phone. Basically, I would almost always gamble on a pc if I can help it. But if the situation calls for it, I will accept being able to play on a phone, thanks to its portability and the fact that it can pretty much run most sites that I visit for gambling.

Exactly, depending from the needs that you have just like what you said if you will play inside your room/house you can simply use PC/Laptop as it is really comfortable, while if you need to travel and you will play with a smaller venue or if you are chasing a live games when you are in the subway or in the bus, using mobile devices can give you that comfort to continue playing.

Whatever the option, gambler's will always find ways to keep playing, that's a reality.. Wink
Each person has their own preferences but I do not really like to gamble while I am commuting or traveling, I know that many people like to take advantage of that time as it is period of time in which you are not doing anything and you may think to take advantage of it on some way, but to me it makes more sense to gamble when I am completely comfortable and that means sitting on my comfortable chair, eating my favorite snacks and drinking my favorite drinks, so gambling while on the move does not appeal to me at all.

The use of desktop and mobile depends on place and time, mobile devices are used predominately for every place because it is very practical but playing casino on a desktop/laptop must be under certain conditions, but I often access online casino sites using mobile devices, but the problem is there is no application yet online casino.

No arguments, except for the fact that gambling with a pc inside a bus, a moving bus would be really a crazy thing to do, I don't know about you, but for me, I like to watch the road when on the go, does not matter that I am not the one driving, but watching the road while the driver does his thing gives me peace of mind, and this I can easily do while gambling on my phone, but absolutely not possible with a laptop, Infact, you won't even enjoy the game same way you do when you gamble on your laptop at home.
And you know one benefit of watching the road while on transit, is that it helps prevent sudden shock that could lead to death when there is an accident.

The problem with the game in any mode of transport is that the transport moves unevenly. As a result, your hand can shake at the most inopportune moment. on the topic at hand, I am comfortable using mobile solutions

Depends on what kind of bets you play and how serious you are about gambling. Knowing that you do not have access to a desktop at an external location. In that case you will have to play with a phone on the site. There are also many people who place bets from a PC and only use the phone to check the standings and scores of a particular match. And some players don't mind the size of a phone screen at all and do everything on their phone. The phones nowadays are also more affordable in prices and the screen size is also much better than a few years ago. The old generation will probably prefer to use only a desktop.
That is what i normally do, i chose the device i use for.each games, example i use phone and other mobile devices to place sport bets but when I want to enjoy playing an in houses game I will prefer to use a desktop because of the view and large graphics.

Well, you miss quite what I was trying to explain mate. I am completely aware of that feature on mobile phone's browser as I am using it all the time when I visit a shopping site where the items I was looking for cannot be checked using their app version and it will say that the item doesn't exist. When I am using the browser then I can finally view it and start to order but mobile phones can't be use the same as how you use desktops computers. I'm sure you know about emulators but if you don't then you should watch this video on YouTube about emulators https://youtu.be/oD8vbbCKPQg. I would be glad if you can provide me information that is the same concept as this where I can install windows app for example like the pc where I can install Bluestacks that let me install apps that is made for mobile phone which ends in .apk file extension.
oh shit it's my fault not understanding everything you said earlier. but now i understand what you mean. i'm sorry mate.

yes it is true that phone cannot be like computers.
computers can download emulators like Bluestack and can feel like using a phone downloading android games, app gambling and other applications.
whereas phones cannot download emulators to feel like using a computer.

maybe that's what you mean? but if I still misunderstood, please let me know again.

Desktop screens are for convenience and it is preferable for gaming but unlike mobile device, desktop cant is moveable freely like baggie g and outdoor activities, in my opinion, it is better to use the two but choose the right place and time for both usages.
Each device we use has its advantages and disadvantages, and we already know it before we use it. People who travel a lot prefer to use their mobile devices. And likewise, people who rarely travel will prefer to use a desktop or laptop. This will be based on the convenience factor of each user so that they will choose it for themselves. Some people use laptops, travel a lot, and prefer laptops to play gambling instead of using mobile devices.

Agree with this.

Most of the things we have have their own benefits and areas to consider. We buy things because we think we can utilize its purpose and will serve us well. Convenience, functionality, and cost are the usual aspects that we have to take into account before actually buying one. Those people who can afford to buy a desktop and prefer to navigate with wider screen will pretty much go for desktop. Meanwhile, those who are still on a budget and prefer the portability will go for a mobile device.

Several factors affect our decision making. It's not news that it's the natural flow of things. So this is really a subjective matter and will depend on the gambler himself and the situation he is currently in.

I always use only the desktop for the game, since it is much more convenient for me to put more information on the big screen and there is a feeling that you won't accidentally click the wrong place.I can only use my phone for betting, it's hard to make a mistake there. It's not convenient to play with my phone personally.

There are several reasons why some people may prefer to use mobile apps over desktop applications or web-based platforms. Due to a bunch of reasons, i.e., convenience in games, optimized for smaller screens which makes it easy to look and navigate, also the ease of mobility so they can be available all the time, as well as more economical due to less expense. I am also in favor of mobile application-based modules.

I really don't think that the ideology behind this topic is right a s beside, there are a whole of persons who will prefer to use their phones rather than using a desktop for some following reasons
1. Compactability: is one is one feature of using a phone over a desktop and you'll understand the ease of caring your phone compared to using a desktop.

2. Availability: this is another reason why phone is more preferable over desktop as one can easily stake a game at anywhere and at anytime.

3. User interface: if you'll agree with me that, the gambling apps are built with more simplicity than the website.

These are some few reasons why I feel the use of phone is at advantage over the use of desktop.

I think compatibility is more of an issue for phone users than desktop users. I have never found desktops incompatible with anything you throw at them. So not too sure about your point here. Perhaps you mean comfort?

Availability is basically the same argument as comfort and there is no reason to separate them.

User interfaces can be either complex or simple. But I have never thought that something is better just because it is more simple. It can mean it is less prone to bugs and hacks but the argument ends there, really.
Both of you have points, but you still need to establish a conclusive agreement and not overstate points.

In terms of compatibility, the phone has it, so comfortable, more accessible and carriable anywhere.
In terms of availability, the phone still has it, it's more available and many people who own phones do not own a computer.
In terms of interface, the desktop version has it, you can't even compare the user interface of the two together. I always use the two and many things will be hidden on the phone version which will take extra effort to locate but will be easy, wider and better displayed on the desktop version.
