2. Create the project for the original idea anyways. You see, it's not about the number of times your idea is been executed, but who has the gut and drive to stick with it to make it succeed. Because someone executed your idea doesn't mean they know or have the drive to make it successful.

This.  If you know in your heart and soul that your idea has great potential, never give up.  Maybe make adjustments to compensate for competition.  In fact, always be agile and willing to make changes to keep up with the pace of progress.  But if you have an idea that is so important to you, make it happen.  Failure is not an option.

idea is a small part, idea is important but execution makes the difference
got a good point there mate, idea can be copied but the transition to success are not, its really hard for someone to continue converting an
idea into a success lots of effort and determination are needed to complete things that we want to achieved.

You actually started first but someone else does it first. do you still launch as competition or quit give up and go back in the closet ?
If you do see that someone do stole your idea but not completely as you expected and there are still some missing parts i guess it wont really be the end for you since you can able to create the same idea but much more better to those who copy into you since you can still able to enhance or upgrade it which the other side didnt do such thing. If you do believe in your idea which anyone cant really copy it then for sure it would outstand those copycats.

As far as I know there is no intellectual property rights on Alt coins. People are trying to patent Bitcoin/Blockchain technology, but it is already public domain. If the competition is not too strong already, I would jump in quickly. Those ideas might fail or the people behind it might lose interest. ^smile^

You have nothing to lose, just take a stab at it and see where it goes. Good luck.

Look what Satoshi did and currently is doing to this date, nothing if your idea is something really original like Bitcoin then you shouldn't talk about it before the launch, you need to make the first move. this is of course for open source part of the internet but if you are not open source and some body steals your idea, if you have claimed the rights and registered the patent then you could go to the court. in open source internet people usually want to make the world a better place and the world gives them back ten folds. do you think Satoshi knew that Bitcoin will hit a price like $5000? not a chance, but the universe returned the favor, with that kind of work and ideas you need only to think about the benefits of your idea.

it seems that there should be in detail and some not for the publication of project excellence.
One thing to keep secret is the primacy and the prime advantage before being released.
I will continue if it happens to me.

Take that as a healthy competition. I remember a movie about, what Apple did to Xerox and Microsoft to Apple. It is all about business, improve it and make it unique. Also, your idea does not stop on your desktop, make a move and go for it.
Here is a quote from Mr. Warren Buffet: “You do things when the opportunities come along. I’ve had periods in my life when I’ve had a bundle of ideas come along, and I’ve had long dry spells. If I get an idea next week, I’ll do something. If not, I won’t do a damn thing.”

You always have to face it when you come up with a truly original idea. Suppose you made a new food... you can prevent others from making it by never exploring the true recipe. But, Internet isn't like a food. it's open for anybody and everybody. So, welcome to the nature of the Internet! Here we're in BTT forum, somebody created the world's first Internet forum and the second person who saw it created the world's second forum. But, who did it first? That's what world remember.... who's the second? That's not important for the world. You're the first dude!  Be proud of yourself and go ahead........

Personally, if someone starts something while I'm working on it, then I'll do what ever it takes to out-compete him! else I'll adapt and change my angle so I can provide some differential value to my audience. If you really started on a project, then you should have the tools and knowledge to do what I mentioned previously. Either way, an idea is ONLY that, till it's executed.

It depends. But I believe that very often it's still worths to try. If you don't have something urgent and can afford to spend time resources on the idea, you definetely should try

If you really believe in something and are truly passionate about it - then do it even if there is competition. Many people do something for the quick buck, but if they are not 100% passionate about it - they will fail on their own or they will be easy to beat.

A product is 1% idea and 99% execution. If someone else has the same idea (they will), it shouldn't stop you. Just execute better than they do.

Competition and labor are the greatest reason for a person's life. If you are looking for a reason to live, find yourself a reason. Because this will provide enough energy to live.

That's how I think about stolen ideas. I try harder and try harder to do better things. So do not leave your ideas and go to the end.

then i think, i think how can i make current idea better by checking already available projects on the same idea. and create new plan with improvements and add new feature and launch it.

p.s. dont share complete idea with anyone, just basic features.

remember you had the idea originally, so only you can make it better, not those who have stolen the idea.
but its also possible that 2 or more persons has the same idea. without knowing each other.

Of course I will still continue the project, you need to step up and bring the best of you, don't be afraid of competition, make it as a motivation to do better project and no matter who start first there will be always a competition, so you need to be flexible and creative to make your project alive and survive

Of course, I'll get angry and I will not let it pass, you don't want others to be credited for what ideas you have formed. But this can resolved when you are properly credited or ask for your permission.

You honestly don't have much to worry about unless they have actually made a full product and captured a significant portion of the market share already.
If they've just tried developing, and you still think you could do it, you might as well try and make it better.

Also, TBH, in most cases, ideas aren't worth that much. The implementation usually takes hundreds of man hours, and ideas are everywhere. It's not that nobody thought of "a ride sharing app" or "a dating app" before, and that Uber or Tinder were the first ones there. It's just that they were so much better.

This, welcome to real life. You just have to come in with a stronger project with a good value add. There could also be competition coming in after the fact, aka you;re never safe. Think outside the box, hire good people to surround you and live your brand everday.
