You actually started first but someone else does it first. do you still launch as competition or quit give up and go back in the closet ?

If I have a really good idea, I will definitely implement it. Implementing ideas means we have to overcome all challenges. Competition is a decisive factor, we need strategies to attract the attention of others.

Once I have an idea, I will definitely find ways to do it, difficult is not something that makes me hesitate, I just fear that my understanding is not enough to overcome that difficulty. So, I always learn about new things.

Does or has already done? If it is still on the way so do not quit because you still have a chance to make a better version of it.
good question if its still on the developing stage and you thnk that you can create much useful and much better than the one who exist first
for me its still better to proceed and showcase all of your advantage and beside you didn't copy it from them you already got the idea the
problem alone is they promote it much earlier than you, so better to create unique one which offer the same but much useful.

Thank you for all your kind words.. you guys gave me back my confidence and on my feet, I almost pull the trigger  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
That's true. Remember you have your own opinions and you can still make the stuff better. Don't worry about other proposal. Concentrate on your own

implementation , execution , this are important keywords indeed as much as the concept or idea ..

Looks like someone take your idea. You know yes an idea is just an idea. The important is the execution of that plan.

Now what to do if someone else gets your idea? Try to make it more better. Enhanced it's modifications to the point that it can't be copied. Also make it to the point that you must implement your idea this time without hesitation. Just pushed it.
Don't give up. If someone has created similar project that still doesn't mean your project won't better

In the first time, don't explain deep technical about your project, just the outline.
If it's already do, are you sure just sit the closet meanwhile you can do a better project, you have first idea so you should know how to make that better.
^ this is good
if you created sthg better, the stolen project wont be valuable anymore  Wink

Depending on kind and stage of your project and if you published already parts of it, you could maybe have natural rights. F.e. someone has written a book or is photo editor , he has in several countries natural rights, if he can proove, that its his work and he was the first creator. Dont know, how it is on digital projects or ideas, but maybe a research would be it for your project, if you already published parts. If you only had an idea, make it like preposters stated, give up or make better as competitors.

Never give up! If someone else has created a similar project it still doesn't mean that you won't create better one

You do not need a really different idea, you can do something that is old and used by others, but you can improve it, change the things you need to be competitive with first person.

Two options:

1. Move on to another project (make sure you execute it this time).
2. Create the project for the original idea anyways. You see, it's not about the number of times your idea is been executed, but who has the gut and drive to stick with it to make it succeed. Because someone executed your idea doesn't mean they know or have the drive to make it successful.

You should definitely continue onward with your project and strive to be the best out of the competition especially if you know it is a winning idea.

Also, TBH, in most cases, ideas aren't worth that much. The implementation usually takes hundreds of man hours, and ideas are everywhere. It's not that nobody thought of "a ride sharing app" or "a dating app" before, and that Uber or Tinder were the first ones there. It's just that they were so much better.

Exactly. Good ideas are a dime a dozen. It's the execution that makes all the difference.

Also whatever your idea is, you're most likely not the first one to have said idea. Even Bitcoin was not a wholly new idea when it got started, but it was the first time someone managed to execute the idea so well that it actually took off.

So don't be discouraged by someone else working on the same idea as you. It will happen pretty much all the time. Look at how they did it, and see if there's some lesson that you can take away from it. Look at their project as a prototype of your own idea and try to improve on it.

And especially, don't give up just because someone else did it before you. If it were for that we wouldn't have the cornucopia of alt coins we have today, because hey, cryptocurrencies are already invented, case closed. So go for it. If you'd give up everytime you see someone else doing something similar you'll never get a project out.

For me. Just let it go, create another idea and from that idea you have just created, you have to protect it. Learn from your mistake and once you've determined you'r free clear to start your business, give your best in it. And just remember ideas don't create success, action does.

You honestly don't have much to worry about unless they have actually made a full product and captured a significant portion of the market share already.
If they've just tried developing, and you still think you could do it, you might as well try and make it better.

Also, TBH, in most cases, ideas aren't worth that much. The implementation usually takes hundreds of man hours, and ideas are everywhere.
