So far you are the one with the original idea, you can make it better with improved techniques. Find something that you know that when input, it will beats his many times. But don't  try to make it look or sounds similar. Use a so different name, different perceptive but still driving on one thing. This will help you remove, competitions at the first place so your project  can grow. Take a look at some business, most are offering same service with different techniques.

How would you know that it's yours if you aren't even applying it? It's not taken and its just the guy who had the same idea as you had put it into motion and making it officially his own except if you have proof it was stolen from you.

There is nothing to do but you can rethink and shift a little bit as your thinking. Actually, we have to keep secret our thinking and idea. never disclose to anyone or any internet platform. some people always trying to copy and paste of another idea. so always keep secret your idea.
Basically, Idea can change your life and a good idea can shift your level in your society. keep trying in the pensive mood and let's start.
Theres no really need to shift since you do have the full concept of your idea which means you can still proceed into your original plan and its up to people won where they decide to join or engage on such project.Expect there would really be changes to those who copied your idea.It sucks but you cant avoid since there are people who do love on stealing someones idea.

Yeah in my opinion, for most most good ideas, you have dozens of tentative implementations.

You must be very worried if the idea is copied or imitated. Yes it is very worrying, but you should not have to worry if your idea imitated. When you are being interviewed or are telling stories you do not need to explain in detail and have to keep it secret to them about your idea.

I will not give up and maybe I will slide forward as their competitors by applying some extra features that 'nothing' in the previous idea. It seems that in that way I can beat them, I do this just to make them aware and think. That his 'deed' is something that was not good (cheating).

Even it the two projects are equal quality, you could grab market share from your competitor with a good advertising campaign.
I would give it a shot.

This is the essence and beauty of capitalism. If your idea is taken, then offer it better than the current person who is implementing the idea. No business is perfect, so you'll be able to find a way to compete somehow and use that as your marketing point.

When your idea is taken, be first try to understand what his  intentions or motives of why he has done so and what he would do about it. Sharing isn't a bad thing when there's no evil intent behind it. The important things is of how would you do with your idea. If you work on it and your happy doing it whatever the outcome then its good.

It's great when your ideas are done and supported by everyone. That is happiness but if someone is doing the same as your idea then how? As you look to bitcoin and many people also come to bitcoin, your investment, trade will be convenient or difficult?

Yes!i agreed with you , Some apeople also come up with a possible idea for a solution to a common problem and dismiss it, never to address the subject seriously again. Others generate an idea for a business and fixate on it, trying to take action but never getting off the ground.
Ideas come in many shapes and sizes, and while most bad ideas are recognizable as bad ideas immediately, not all “good” ideas are created equal. A “good” idea, in theory, is one that solves a problem adeptly, with no major drawbacks. But not every good idea can sustain a good business.
For example, your idea, while good, might not be cost effective, therefore preventing you from generating a worthwhile profit. If you have a good idea, but you aren’t sure whether the idea is sustainable as the foundation for a real business, ask yourself some questions:

1.Has someone else beaten you to it? This is an important question to ask, and one quick Google search should provide you with a succinct, direct answer. See if there are any other persons  that are already using your idea. If it’s a great idea, there’s a good chance that someone else already thought of it. If you see at least one competitor with a version of your idea that’s as good as or better than yours, your idea probably isn’t sustainable.

2.Can it last for more than a year? This may seem like an obvious question of sustainability, but think critically about the nature of your idea. Does it take advantage of a current fad or trend? If so, remember that fads don’t usually last long. Business ideas that take advantage of a fleeting interest do not succeed -- instead, you need something that solves a long-term problem with a long-term solution.
If you can answer all of these questions confidently, and backed with ample research, you’ll have a good chance at turning your idea into a successful enterprise.

Most people at some point in their life have an original, or even brilliant idea. Very few of these people bring together the skill sets required to make the idea a reality, and even fewer of them see their project through to success. The idea is the least important part of the puzzle in many cases, having the drive, skills and team to bring it to life is much more important.

I'd say, if you think you can do better, go for it. If they already have the market completely dominated, probably move on to another idea as there are still plenty of ideas you could develop, even if the other idea was to be your magnum opus.

For me, its okay, you can create new ideas much better to your idea before because ideas are everywhere, give your best to make better idea then protect it from people who taken your work.

jonnytracker, wonder if you have actually executed on your idea? Regardless of whether you did or not. Wish you the best of luck in the pre-existing project or any new project/s that you now might have up your sleeves.  Smiley
