When I'm sad, I'm playing online games. Sometimes it helps to forget problems
That's just what you need for normal calm your soul. It can be so hard to escape from everything around games that you can forget even to eat or sleep.

We always hide from other people when we are ill. We do not want to show that we are there are weak against someone. But there are people who do not hide it, because they want to self- pity from others, even family or friends. Nevertheless, we are coping with these feelings, can not be otherwise.

Music is perhaps the main remedy for depression. Even the sport does not give such a result as music. Only the music has to be good, not tough and not even necessarily a favorite.

I fully agree on this, music helps to feel better  Smiley

when ever i am sad i try to give time to my children it really turn me happy.
It happens that you come home from work tired and the kids want to get out on his head and you think, or you would have been better to stay at work or home, not to come.

When I am upset I try to sleep because my friends so are so nice and my family is so good that I cant even think of being rude to them so if I am upset I try to stay away or sleep.
Sleep is perhaps the best that can be done. After all, you can wake up in a better mood. True sleep problem may be even worse.

I listen to music or watch a film, it helps me to forget what made me sad. Videogames and my bed are two other things that helps me too  Wink

Looking for new ways of overcoming sadness ...

Mindfulness is great for ending moments of sadness before they take hold and stress relief. Some other benefits are increased focus, creativity and productivity.

I hit the golf course, then follow it up by eating a rare steak with red wine. Then I take a nap, wake up and well the rest is kinda random but I am good at that point. I do this every time I feel like I am beginning to 'tilt' to avoid longer periods of depression and it has worked flawlessly these last few years, before I was pretty down every winter. Almost like I peaked and felt so well during summers so hard that the serotonin was gone by winter come to think of it. I really like summers.

Any of you feel down, just take a treat yourself day and combine all the things you love to do into one. You got work then call in sick or whatever because it's like a days investment to avoid weeks/months of little productivity and bad being. Trust me it is worth it from every angle I can view it from.

I can also recommend taking a day off and treating yourself to a spa or pick up a new hobby to develop yourself. I'm taking a hunting license this year.

Some book suggestions:

https://www.amazon.com/Short-History-Nearly-Everything/dp/076790818X
https://www.amazon.com/Fountainhead-Ayn-Rand/dp/0451191153

And what is really great with Amazon is that you can take long walks and listen to books instead of reading them. I used to feel like taking walks were only about getting from A to B but when I figured out I could combine it with a book I came to cherish long walks instead of thinking about it like a waste of time.

I'm always hiding. I didn't tell my friends when I'm sad because they know me as a happy kid. But when I'm alone, I was just thinking those happy moments that I had before so the sadness will be gone easily.
I usually read book when im sad. Books bring many awesome things to me. It makes me forget about everything in the real world. Therefore, i will not sad anymore after i read a book

I love the sunshine,  Cheesy I love the wind, I love the smell of the grass.  Heck, I even love playing golf and walking 18 holes in the rain.  It is so nice to simply be outside enjoying a nice walk and getting some physical and mental stimulation. Smiley Smiley Smiley I love to play new courses.  I find the discovery of something new on the golf course to be fascinating.  I buy Golf Shoes choose in article http://jonsguide.org/best-top-spikeless-golf-shoes-reviews/, and play the game. Best game - golf. Grin
