I have invested at the wrong time when the price of cryptocurrencies is really very expensive,
of course what I hope is that altcoin prices can return to new ATH again, especially now that I'm currently holding altcoins like Verasity, Crypto.com, and Fantom,
Let's hope that 2023 will be a bullish year for cryptocurrencies.
It most likely is bullish, but i can't say if it's bullish for the tokens you are holding. Especially for tokens like Verasity i wouldn't automatically count in to be a part of next bull run, or some other tokens no one has heard of. Some low caps will why high but there's really no way of knowing which. Fundamentals doesn't necessarily matter. In the time of hype, hype counts most.

If you look at the market trend until now, even today the market is red again, so we can't expect too much, now is the time to keep buying because the market is dipping, in 2 years I'm sure there will be a lot of altcoins that have skyrocketed 10x or more, don't panic and think short term.
It seems that it is and we better be realistic with the existing market conditions,
we also never know when a bear market will end,
it is better to remain patient waiting for the bulls and as much as possible to take advantage of the bear market
It's likely the bear market will end after next bitcoin halving. By there we have to remain patient, without despairing ourselves and losing hope in bitcoin, what can be hard for some investors, since we don't know if we have reached the bottom yet. In my opinion 2023 can be a stable or a bad year for bitcoin, but not a prosperous one. So hard times may still be ahead for crypto enthusiasts.

Anyway, the short term isn't to be trusted. Even if we were in a bull run, we could never make decisions based on what is going to happen soon. The goals in crypto universe must be drawn always thinking on long term, that is: period of time in years, and taking bitcoin's cycles in consideration.
means we need to wait for another couple of years before it finally ended because Halving will come in 2024-2025 in which several years from now but I can fully understand the sentiment because we have seen that happened for how many times before.
Bitcoin and other crypto are only making pump after 4-5 years.
Actually time is not a problem for an investor even though they have to wait in the next few years to wait for a bull market to occur and be able to take big profits from investing in altcoins and Bitcoin, of course.
In conditions like this we can take advantage of it by taking Bitcoin and altcoins which have the potential to experience a significant increase in price when the Bitcoin HALVING occurs in the next few years.
This will definitely happen and can be seen from the market history in the past few years.
on the other hand by waiting for the bull season to come again, there are still ways to make money with new projects that have long term potential and airdrops for the side. I see a lot of projects with the concept of blockchain or crypto wallets. this could be a correction of coin choices that will fold in the future with great potential

If they are a long-term investor, yes but for a short-term investor, they can't afford to wait that long but they will only sell after a couple of months. For them, time is important more than the extra profit but I think they still can be able to earn more before those long-term investors sell their coins and make a profit, as long as they will buy back again right after they sell or they can wait first for the price to drop a little.
Ideas like this are usually used for bitcoin investments, for the long and short term bitcoin can always be relied upon. Even though at times in the short term bitcoin is very close to volatility, meaning the tendency to maintain investment value and as many people hope, the best step is to hold bitcoin in the long term.

Because what I understand, only bitcoin can be relied on compared to other existing cryptos, besides being able to maintain the investment value, bitcoin is also the best investment at the moment.

The halving is for BTC so BTC is the one that is expected to rise. It's important to max out this coin first before anything else. Maybe after the halving, that is the time that we can properly divide our funds to some other cryptos.
The market trend usually always follows bitcoin, when the recovery process is going well for bitcoin and that's when potential crypto will also follow it, maybe people's tastes will vary, but I think Ethereum is a good choice to use in investing.

I can see a system that will highly be dependent and decentralized Iin the future. I can see so many nations legalising cryptocurrency and accepting it as a payment form.
Legalizing ? are you sure ? what would be the reason for this acceptance ? I'm afraid that if you are looking on this then you'll regret that.
I feel like legalizing it is the way to go because many big nations already did it. I mean you could check out USA, UK, Germany and the like where you could buy and sell crypto and own it and store it as well. That's the majority of people anyway, most people trade it or buy and hold it, as long as you are allowed to do that and as long as there are companies in the crypto world, like exchanges for example where you can legally run as a company then it's going to be fine.

If all those huge nations do it, most other smaller nations will do it too. Some won't, like China may not, but we are talking about majority of the world, and I feel like it's legal in most nations already.

What do you mean expect from cryptocurrency? Is it about the market volatility rate or about the survival and sustenance of cryptocurrency generally?
I think he is asking in general meaning all of the expectation from crypto currency market and that is what we need to address here.

But about the current market value, coin prices might not erecover anytime soon. This is likely to take several months if not years to recover and stablize. At the moment, I am expecting less from the markets and cryptocurrency generally.
indeed ,market will remain lowering this year and maybe the next? that is more possible to happen.

I think halving in 2024 and the following year 2025 could be too late for some people to wait. I mean in 2017 we had a big up but that was in December, then we had a terrible fall in all of 2018 which was bad, but in 2019 we started to recover, that means we need to recover in 2023 to be the same. Sure we had a big up in 2021, and a terrible fall in 2022, but we need a bit of recover.

I am not saying the highest point, that took us until 2021 to peak a new ATH, meaning from 2017 to 2021 that was 4 years and I understand the logic of that, and we should wait, but just because ATH was broken in 2021 doesn't mean 2019 was bad, it was a good year and 2023 could be too.

Bitcoin is a long-term investment, if time is not an issue for us. What is our problem here? Losers in the market because most of them are impatient, and because of waiting too long they lose confidence in the market, which in turn causes them to sell their assets. For me, timing is the key to every problem in the market, if you can patiently wait for bitcoin for several years, you will be profitable even buying at a high price.
The halving is certain to happen, but will the price increase happen? Still an unanswered question, don't be sure of anything in this market.

I would like to know about your expectations about cryptocurrency, please share your opinion.

expectation for what? how long?how much?

if you are asking about those , then I can only say one thing and that is depend on how will market brings me.

but if you are asking about the death? or soon this will lose value? then that will never happen instead this will continue on upgrading from here and there.
For what? He just said crypto and for the question if how long or how much then the answer will already depend on us and not on the market. The market can change from time to time but if you already now what you are doing then you can't be affected by it in a negative way.
actually I was asking for specific coin if there is mate , but yes you are correct that market is changing so we must be ready to what will come from positive to Negative aspect.
If you look at the market trend until now, even today the market is red again, so we can't expect too much, now is the time to keep buying because the market is dipping, in 2 years I'm sure there will be a lot of altcoins that have skyrocketed 10x or more, don't panic and think short term.
dont look for skyrocketing mate, instead look for at least doubling your funds in that 2 years and it is more than enough to expect .

Todays world's economy is not so good. High rate of inflation and many bad things are happen, also cryptocurrency market seems not so good either. But I think it is better to hold bitcoin rather than fiat as government seems that can't do something significant improvement on economic growth. Unlike my expectations for the world economy, I have good expectations to cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Bitcoin has a good thing that called a "Halving" where it usually cause it price to rise, while other fiat don't have anything to expect except inflation. I would like to know about your expectations about cryptocurrency, please share your opinion.
While the value of fiat money decreased due to high market inflation, Bitcoin prices also suffer a decline. But guess what, we never see any recovery happens to fiat money which is far from what happens to Bitcoin. Though we see a huge decline in Bitcoin, however, we can never say this is meant to be forever as we know that recovery comes next after this bear season. Yet, we never know exactly what will happen to Bitcoin but if we mentioned fiat, you will be expecting a lower value in the future.
Agreed, the market scenario of bitcoin and fiat are moving on the same track. In all means it is assured of the recovery with bitcoin whereas the same won't happen with the inflated fiat. In all market situation if we keep ourselves strong and are with the focus on preparing for the worst, then we won't get hurt at any Market situation. Most of the experienced cryptocurrency users does it in the right way.

Of course I hope the market can recover or the price of ETH can reach at least $ 3500, a year ago I invest Eth, BNB, Cake and so on when the market was at the top, now the price of drops and more than 70% I lost money, when there was a moment for rising. disturbances such as Luna and FTX.
market will recover but Soon ? I'm not sure because 2023 seems to be more bearish that 2022 as this is closer to Halving and we knew what happened every year like that , though sideways may happen but very little chance so be ready for the incoming dumping.
FTX effect will surely come to the early of next year as the season of Christmas stands for strong market but the next months will be different .
I think we still need to be patient to wait for the market to really recover.
it seems like it is and I don't see the market recovering any time soon,
but in crypto anything can happen and the important thing is to keep abreast of developments

remember that you'll never lose your money until you sold all your coins because the long you hold is the long your funds remain as is, only the value changed mate but the total of your holding is remaining.
try to believe in Hodling as long as you are having legit coins like what you said Ethereum and Binance coin  and also Cake? well swapping seems to be fading nowadays.
