That's usually the promotions new gambling sites offer to users. Free tokens, free spins, free membership etc. Always freebies and rightfully so. I doubt that anyone would already put in their own money for a new gambling site. As they say, they always put their best foot forward to get enough people to join.

Not necessarily for legitimacy since gambling doesn't need to be actively promoted to consider it as legitimate. The advantage of gambling site which are being promoted actively is that lot of user may use it does a better prize could be offered so it's both good for players and that certai gambling site.

Casinos don't always need promotions, it's a form of advertisement for casinos but it's not needed because if the quality of a gambling site is good you'll choose to use them regularly over other gambling sites that have better promotions.

Promotions would vary on each gambling site and also with that lossback thing i cant see any gambling sites as of this moment do offer such thing excluding to those eos platform based gambling
sites which do have dividend system but the rest don't offer do just like that but come to think that they are giving out promotions which give something in returns with their players or in short
bonuses that will give out benefit to people but as expected you would need to compete or do still need to wager which is a normal thing.

I still remember the promotional campaigns PrimeDice had back in 2014 and 2015. The amounts were quite small, but I was able to accumulate them and then withdraw the coins to my personal wallet a few times. But I know that not all of the gambling sites are that generous. Gambling sites like the one you are wearing the signature of do promotions every now and then for different aspects. It can be marketing for more visitors and signups or it can be a money making promotion where a lot of staking will be done on the site. Either way the flow of money is what is mainly important because thats why the casino was built.

But luck will never change. It will remain the same. Odds dont change unless the house edge is being lowered. Still thats just a promotion and does not mean that you would not lose a game.

I like it when new websites have welcome bonuses for people to try their games even without depositing. I also like faucets for a similar reason. The website should encourage people to play there, and in the long run these small incentives are good for the casino. I also know that some people like working for signature campaigns and gambling some of the payment in the casinos they are working for.

I think the "loss back" is what is more commonly known as "rake back". Some casinos have this feature that if you lose a certain significant amount of money, they'll compensate a part of it back to you.
