Too old for me
My friend gets a zec and ether. He says that if you invest and wait for growth, then it's better ETH , and if you need to bring out the Fiat it's better to have a zec. But personally, my opinion that it is better to invest in ETH - I believe in it more
Currently ZEC has high inflation because of the fast coin issuance. The technology is revolutionary and has potential. If governments get hostile towards crypto I think the anonymous ones like ZEC and XMR will gain momentum.
This would be great for long term investors because ZEC prices would rise sharply if this happens and it could be a new industrial revolution in the world and will create a niche market. But you must use Google translate because the language on the link is not use English language but it will be easy to be translated by Google in English language and could be understood.

it seems like the price never pump after the rumor that poloniex dislist ZEC, the main reason i think people began to consider whether anonymity is necessary

So good thing is to longterm mine and hold till something good happends, what about other altcoins? Which might have potential in longterm, i know its hard to say but what are your thoughts.

good profit for miners, not the best but still.
I have kind of ignored Zcash so far, but I heard a story about them on radiolab and it definitely piqued my interest. I'm researching them now.

Because that was a good zero knowledge coin.
They were a large hype in the news on their release. They are still one of the profitable coin for miners. But they are nothing more that a bitcoin fork with increased level of anonymity.

Not know much about ZEC. It's based on zero-knowledge proof, suppose to have more privacy and selective transparency. But, ETC plans to integrate zero-knowledge proof as well in the future.
