you can not compare btc with the altcoins. Btc was first ever currency to came into existence out of thin air that why it will be the last one as well for the investors to trust. on the other hand altcoin which have solid team and project will survive in the long run. projects with zero value or development will be dead

With the current state of the Altcoin industry which is now ridden with scammers which pretty much sucked out all of the investors in that community. On the other hand bitcoin that came out of nowhere with no one really knowing who created it is still going strong even after a bearish 2 year run. People have already banked their trust into bitcoins and other established coins in the market so it's highly improbable that they would die out. In altcoin's case a lot of scams have happened that made investors lose their trust on altcoins altogether.

For what they are needed for now. Altcoins will be in every business. In any industry. Bitcoin will be like a coin that connects everyone. And altcoins will build an empire. Now many people use Ethereum or Bitcoin, but soon all the coins will be on the same wallet, and everything in this world will have its own altcoin. As stocks, only even in very small companies.

right, for altcoin that has a product that is used or needed that will survive, and for altcoin that cannot develop its project, it will certainly become trash and degraded. it is difficult to predict a new altcoin that will survive, because it is easier to identify altcoins that already exist in the top rankings

Well, as of the moment, what you have said are true. Many people are using Altcoins for the sake of playing gambling, e-betting and other sorts of blockchain games possible to involve the usage of cryptocurrencies. But that was not the main reason why Altcoins are being made or created. Most Altcoins that are existing in the cryptocurrency market comes from projects which are mainly made from ideas of generating modern solutions to the problems our society are facing in which they see cryptocurrency can provide solution to those problems making a more convenient environment because the ideas of projects are to provide convenience on the daily life basis of people by using cryptocurrencies. But since Altcoins are being undervalued, they are being used into ways they are not supposed to be used or far away from the reason why they were created. Maybe in the near future when the whole world have already adapted the usage of cryptocurrencies, Altcoins will already make their roles relevant as well as their real usage.

Even though KYC/AML can be done with other cryptocurrencies, some exchanges are known to do these things on other cryptocurrencies to protect themselves and their customers. Bitcoin has a lot of anti-money laundering compliance and government rules and regulators are keen to its bring down so maybe there is leech way for altcoins.

Gambling, gaming and entertainment is only a few. Altcoin are used as transaction fees on several cryptocurrency exchange including the almighty binance. i'm not sure if altcoins can be used in the future, but it is possible that real use will happen but it won't be for all altcoins, because each altcoins has different uses and functions for other purposes. so when the growth of adoption continues then of course it will have a tremendous impact on the use of bitcoin and other crypto which of course it will have a better future impact on a commodity

I think it can be used for a certain service but within their project. They are offering for faster transactions and when making a trade for an exchange, but I doubt that it is really not useful but it is only them have the benefits of it. And I can only see an altcoin use only for making profit but not for the feature that they are offering to us investors.

And some top-ranked altcoins has potential for their features but the majority are useless since they don't really have product but full of promises that they will develop it in future in which a lie to me.

I would hope Altcoins are going to be used in a lot of things like:

Economics and Business
The School System
In the medical field
In politics
Tracking all kinds of Items.

I see a lot of people saying for betting and sportsbetting??
They are already used for that and are in my opinion kinda useless we are way past the stage of just wanting to use them for betting in my opinion.
We should be looking what they could really improve in our daily life!

Gambling, yes. Sports betting, true. But I think altcoins can serve bigger functions than these. Maybe not as a replacement for a state's currency outrightly but as functional tokens for certain working projects
