Altcoins are controlled by the whales in the largest number, so in the future some coins will be created and controlled by real companies, the government will be used around the world,now I think BNB is is a bright candidate.
Let's be honest here. Only a very few of altcoins will be used in the future and most of them will be dumped so hard by the manipulators and its investors. Altcoins is somehow like the pennystock that we have in the stock market where the traders used to squeeze to get some milk money. Altcoins are still underdeveloped and I hope in the near future, they will have some real usage.
I think some altcoins will be used in future for payments on restaurants, pay bills with and other stuff that now is paid with card, hope to see that soon, unfortunately some countries not want crypto payment.
this could have happened if the regulations and also crypto users had increased significantly, because if not then the use could not be maximized as expected. Such conditions must also be considered because without buyers who make payments with crypto, the existing transactions will also not go well

Altcoin can be used for the future in various fields such as hotel payments, plane ticket payments, you can even buy a cup of coffee with altcoin. Some countries have implemented payments with altcoin, Altcoin is very much that we know of over 4000 but only altcoin that really operates in its field will be used in real life.
In my opinion, altcoins are not a good choice and will not be used in the future. altcoin is not showing its position in the market because of the significant decrease in value.
Not all altcoins are bad but yes majority is of the useless ones. We shall not put our maximum funds into them as they disappear very quickly from the market. As far as their future usage is concern, they are simply; the famous ones will be used for daily small payments for food and so on. They could be used for clearing bills but never would be used for making big transactions because that is only done with bitcoin.
I think there will be some altcoins that find a niche such as Ethereum as a platform for tokens or smart contracts, or there will be others that are used for privacy or micro transactions. If an altcoin doesn’t find a purpose it will most likely fail.
More than likely by now, the OP has already changed his perspectives. Because alts can be practically used everywhere in our daily living mostly as a means of payment system. Indeed, cryptocurrencies have bright future as more and more institutions are launching their own blockchain projects.
For financial reasons mostly, however even nowadays, you have a bunch of options for crypto currencies in daily spheres. Starting from real estate, ending with gambling websites. We have a bright future in front of us full of crypto.
It all depends on how creative developers can get to bring real use cases to Crypto. We need strong teams that know what is needed in the market and what can make a difference. I think mostly cryptos will be used for payment gateway transactions, and if developers are clever to cash in on the remittance market, then that will be billions of dollars of use cases right there. For example, my husband is living abroad right now due to his job and he remitted me some funds. So instead of using western union which is frightfully inconvenient and expensive, he used Bitcoin, which saved us both hassle and fees. I think some good cryptos can take this role and get a chunk of this very important economic market. Especially in Africa and Asia where you have many people sending money to relatives back and forth.

I disagree with your opinion very much. You should trust the altcoin and the cryptocurrency market. Although it is not performing well, I believe that altcoins will do better in the future and you will be disappointed in your opinion.

altcoin is a good opportunity, is a great destination for all investors. in the future altcoin may be used in many areas and many different aspects of the market. altcoin trends are very noticeable.

are you sure about this? The majority of altcoins can be considered as security and almost all of them can't be used as a daily money caused by they are all not even accepted in a single merchants. you need to convert your coin to the fiat to use it and it can't be considered as real usage of altcoin.

There are many Chinese Altcoins projects like aelf which will propel in the future as the Chinese authority is aggressive towards these technologies. Xrp is already famous and implemented in banking. The use cases are unlimited.
It needs to be recognized that China has an aggressive level of development in any technology, if they develop more broadly, altcoin might grow, especially for altcoin that can be used and accessed in various places and has uses that are really needed by the community, because for me altcoin is needed by the community will always grow and develop The only place I think altcoins has a future in is gambling, normal gambling but first and foremost e-betting.I can not see how it will take over from normal currency's in the world of buying or selling any other goods then btc. The main reason I think this is that nobody wants to be that guy that bought two pizzas for 10000 btc 5 years from now, so i cant really see what else it has a real future in. But that is only my opinion, What do you guys think?
You are wrong sir, altcoins have different use cases and most of them can be used on e-bet platforms, it's same thing with bitcoin as well, almost all coins can be used as means of payment because of their value, there are some altcoins that even surpass bitcoin base on their features
