I think that putting money in a bank had been a nice way to save value and make money and even still people do that but not all of them. Now it has become very evident to people that speculating in cryptocurrency is another way to save value and in the same time to make value.

The risk is obvious but you do not make anything if you do not take the risk. I would suggest you choose any of the coin among Bitcoin, ETH or Litecoin.

Loyalty of investor matters allot because if they will lose patience and sell for panic it shakes the entire market, for in this matter I suggest only bitcoin to invest as for me no other coin has ability to rise as much bitcoin has we are good investors but patience is key to success, bitcoin and EHT are best among all crypto currencies.

Ethereum is a good coin but there are few other good projects and coins that if you hold them they can give you more better returns than Ethereum.

1 year is the right time to invest in a cryptocurrency if you will start from now, but it all depends on the coins you choose to earn can double your capital.
1000 $ in my opinion the amount is very large and my suggestion is, 50% you have to invest in bitcoin and the rest you have to divide by 3 coins like ETH and other coins that you think have potential and can be profitable in 1 year.

I think choosing several low price coins from the top 50 coins will be a better idea than investing in Ethereum only! Because it is always a good idea for me to put money in several boxed instead of one! If the ETH price grows well that's mean the crypto market will be well pumped so all potential coin's price will be increased too!

A year profit is still depending on the market trend and due its volatility.
For having assurance that we can generate profits in a certain for that long, we just invest the most and leading coins in the market. Of course we look into BTC and ETH as the most trusted and growing coins in the market. But if you'll buying from ICO or IEO, there is no justification with that and were just afraid that it will end into nothing.

When crypto market on bullish mode , mostly all crypto will going up just different with the percentace of gainer. Choose altcoin that have best performance in previous bull market will help to decide which crypto is best to hold now for 1 years. My chooise is OMG, EOS, XLM, WAVES, ADA, IOTA. In the end of this year all of these coin has potential to offer minimum 5x profit.

In bull market on 2017 alot of altcoin was offer very fantastic return in 1 years, many altcoin given higher return than BTC, in that year Bitcoin was going up about 20 times, but others altcoin been going up to 100x, so in my opinion is better to invest in some altcoin that has solid team development, like TRX, XLM, LTC, NEO.

Spread your portfolio to only 5 coins and make it the top 5 coins in the market, you are guaranteed to make a good profit after a year and maybe you will not come back from the army anymore if the predicted bull run happens this year and you will come back with 10 or 20 times profit.

I know it is a money from tears and sacrifice but crypto can possibly multiply its amount for many times. But having such amount it could be better to invest only for few numbers of potentials coins. And for that long you just be sure that you keep it safely and have a backup keys for you to recover otherwise you'll not seen it anymore at your wallet.

the safest and surest thing in crypto world is bitcoin. just buy bitcoin with your $1000, and let it be for another 1-2 years. i have very high faith that your 1000usd investment will be worth more than double that in 1-2 years.

It is a very great idea to do so because Bitcoin being the king of crypto currency guarantees the safety of whatever amount invested in it but a very wise person will still not completely put all his eggs in one basket, we still have some altcoins he can invest in that has the tendency of given him over 2500% profit within the year if the bull run sets in.
