yout need wisdom to meet up with that, i suggest you do enough work, though i dont know which aspect of the work you do- be it bounty, trading, mining, or whatever. but if you do any of it well, you will trade with it or hodl if for sometime till you get you 1000$. but since you know the nature of your job, you cannot expect to eat the 2 well at the same time.

Yes, Buying at the current condition of the market is always good because the price of both the ETH and Bitcoin are still low in the market. Buy coins which are in the top 50 ranking in the coinmarketcap. Buy cheap coins that when the bull run starts you will cash out and profit more of your invested capital. Those coins in the top 50 has big volume which are can easily move to your target hit but set it at 5 to 10%. More than that percentage will make it longer to hit.

In my opinion you should choose some undervalue coins for investment. Cause you can expect big profits from undervalue coins. If you hold them for one years then you will get upto 10x.

As i see crypto coins getting pumping them right now and its good to buy and hold for 1year but it is hard to control if you can't handle it daily to avoid lossing it if the price of your coin is dropping out.
After 3 months I will be in the army for a whole year. And I came to the conclusion that I need to buy something for $1000. This is not an important amount for me, but at the same time, I want to come home and with probability to raise this amount. I have the same problem before. I didn't know where to invest but after doing some research and based on my observation, it's better to invest in a well-established coin so I invested in bitcoin. I think it's better to trust the strongest and a coin with the biggest potential.
Still, it is not too late to buy and hold bitcoins as experts are speculating about $14k (as fair value for bitcoin) and most people are expecting at least $10k in coming months. Hence, now also we may take a concrete decision of buying but with the intention of long term holding will benefit big in coming years.

Holding is not waste of time but it gives good result at the end, right now I only chose bitcoin to buy for one year because I have seen in 2016 price was low then in 2017 it made really huge profit for investors then in 2018 it was low and dump year but now again we are hoping for the best in 2019 I am sure price will rise higher and we will make profit.

In my opinion 1 year has not provided a guarantee that you will profit, even though what you buy is a top of marketcap like Bitcoin or Ethereum, you remember the price from 2017 to 2018 actually weakens. if you intend to hold, then hold up to 4 years or more, you can buy coins at top marketcap and guarantee profits to you.

I will suggest that you buy token that are presently developing their project and there is space for growth. And also make sure to note project that has good community presence and credible team
For $1.000 I would go all in on Bitcoins and then forget all about investment for a year like your plan is. But if you like to trade, then send those 1.000 to an exchange of your choice, and you can start trading on different coins, there will be many good opportunities in the year to come, to make a greater profit than your passive bitcoins investment will give you.
Yeah to me as well, It seems as the person has no experience with coin, but I think it is not wrong thing is he is asking us to give our suggestions, it is good to make research and you will find the coin more promising that I am gonna suggest your which is bitcoin for sure bitcoin is the best coin to buy for one year as price is low and recently has started to rise so in 2020 i can see a bright future.
