Since this topic is from March, retrospective give as a clear fact that in March best buying was bitcoin, since now bitcoin price is soared high, so I think now it`s maybe for getting out bitcoin, not getting in, at least not for a short time period, buying now meaning keeping bitcoin at least for 2 more years before some significant rise. On other side we have many alts that are on their very low levels, many of them didn`t follow bitcoin price rally this time, I think they will start soon, so now its a good time for buying some alt.
It is very hard to predict if you hold your bitcoin and hold it for 1 year it cause a price that dump also if you can't manage it and see for 1year but it will depends on market what will be the outcome.
At the current prices I actually think altcoins are a better option. Bitcoin only has to go 2.5 x to reach the previous high while these altcoins are down much more from their all time highs. BTC trading pairs are near their lowest so you can heavily increase your bitcoin stash from investing in alts right now.

I am seeing bitcoin and litecoin as the best coins to buy in 2019/2020 and that do not mean other coins are not going to recover but that I can invest in them and have a peaceful mind that there are going to recover.

But the best time to invest in bitcoin is last year when bitcoin is still below the $4000 level. chosing a single coin is not about boredom but its the risk that we can potentialy faced . let say the guy put all his 1k usd on "brand a" coin but "brand a" coin got dumped and whats worst is that "brand a" coin could not recover anymore anymore . that is why there is a saying that dont put all your eggs in one basket . its always better if you can diversify your funds on different set of coins no matter how big or small your capital is so that you can lessen your risk and you can increase your chances of earning a good income .

That could rather be a very good option for long term profits and in fact great profits because if you do not, you have options to invest in maybe ETH or BinanceCoin which I think are good but not as profitable as Bitcoin could be for some good term of investment. After 3 months I will be in the army for a whole year. And I came to the conclusion that I need to buy something for $1000.
