If there's a continuous positive remarks for bitcoin in the next ten years or so, we will be able to see or at the least expect that it can persist for hundreds of years but it's a challenge because there's a lot of innovations and there might come an invention that will totally replace bitcoin if not totally make it obsolete but given that bitcoin is an investment tool, I think that it's close to not happening.
am not sure if bitcoin will survive that long , because there will be surely another currency that will make its way to the top as there are many issues bitcoin network is facing and if all of those leakage will be covered by a new coin then what will hinder to break bitcoin position and bring this once great coin to the lowering position.
We can only say with certainty that in a hundred years everything will change very much. Including cryptocurrency, if it still exists by that time. Bitcoin will probably no longer be in such a form as it is now. It is impossible to even say what the cryptocurrency will be like by that time. We see how quickly it continues to develop. New directions are emerging that we did not even know about. So for now, we will be watching this market and working on it. From a practical point of view, it makes no sense to think so far. After all, we will be gone by that time. 
@RainbowKun Your viewpoint about Bitcoin after 100 years is explained in a superb way. Even I feel somewhat the same way. The price of Bitcoin would rise and fall in the time to come. I believe that Bitcoin would be existing after 100 years too but unfortunately we would not be living till then to see what actually will happen.
why can you be so sure in making an argument? is it because now bitcoin is still the king of coins and the volatility is good so you can be sure that bitcoin will get to the next 100 years??I think you are too confident about this because basically it is true some time ago someone said that btc mining will run out until the year 2140 which means 120 years after the current time but. during that time many possibilities will happen and i can still be sure for the next few years btc will still get very good attention but the times will be more advanced and there may be other competitors who can get more attention in the future.
we can't predict what happens for the next 100 years whether bitcoin will still exist in that time period, but I don't dare to say yes to bitcoin's survival in that time, considering 100 years is not a short time, we just can predict the future without knowing what will happen after such a long time, we may no longer be there for such a long time
it's true as you said comrade, we can't predict bitcoin in 100 years, because that's a very long time, and it's certain that all of us in this forum will surely die, but if we look at bitcoin's journey, it's most likely for posterity we can still enjoy bitcoin..

I'd say it will be dead. But that's not a bad thing. Bitcoin and other relevant cryptocurrencies are just an evolutionary step and there is no need to think it's here to stay forever. Bitcoin paved the way for something revolutionary and other future cryptocurrencies will build off of that idea.

100 years is unlikely we will live to see what miracles will happen to bitcoin, and I agree, need to accumulate. Accumulate and soak in bitcoin to earn a retirement or retire without having to work. Given the turmoil in the economy right now, I think we'll soon see bitcoins worth over $100k in 5 years, the end of the year at the earliest.It is too much to ask your vision about what will going to happen in bitcoin after a 100 years I mean anything in this world is unsure to whatever it may happen but let's just think about the technology that we have today that have been introduced in the world for a long time ago but it only materializes at this modern times. It is much more realistic to predict in a range of 5-10 years but a 100 years is beyond my imagination. I guess we should enjoy what benefits we have gain from bitcoin today and let's make the best out of it by preparing our future through the help of these platform.
No one among us will be alive to see what will happen to bitcoin after 100 years. So whatever any one predicts about the bitcoin future, after 100 years, it cannot be validated by us.
One thing is for sure that we will not have fiat currencies after 100 years.
