Everything, but specifically... property when bitcoin is worth much more, stock for my business, and it would be nice to use in all local restaurants.

By the way, those in the UK have some nice options at cryptodechange.com I have used it to send gifts to UK based people before.

It has been reliable, but it's a one man show, so susceptible to delays due to illness, bank account issues, and abuse/overuse.... i.e. he'd probably have problems from some quarter if someone suddenly started pumping thousands through one gift card program or store. Just noting that to say it's probably fine for a couple of hundred UKP here and there, but start demanding a few thousand worth of stuff and it won't work. Trying to preserve my coins, I was attempting to buy giftcards direct with CC or paypal in UK recently, and discovered that many have a limit of about 250 to 500 pounds for online ordering, bearing in mind that CdC is acting as a crypto accepting intermediary for these services, they will be subject to same limits probably.

Australia has done this, But I wish there was a way to pay my electric, and internet bills with Bitcoins. I saw a post a few weeks ago somewhere that an Australian company was setting up a way for people to pay their bills online using Bitcoins as a form of payment. This would indeed be a great addition to help people stop dumping so many coins and be able to pay thier bills. Miners have only 2 overhead costs, electric and internet.

This would be very nice.

Macdonalds Grin

You shouldn't buy that anyway. It would be more healthy for you to eat the bag it comes in than to eat the shit inside the bag.

I wish could buy more BTC with BTC
That is called lending and you can do that today. Just look at the lending subforum there are plenty of opportunities to do so (a few of which are not scams). Alternatively you can look to places like bitfinex which will allow you to turn your 1 BTC today into a little bit more then 1 BTC tomorrow

I already asked my mortgage company if I could pay them in Bitcoin and they declined...I was not surprised.

Call their bluff.

Ask them to send your mortgage note to escrow for settlement and closure of the account within 30 days.

They will shit bricks.

Politicians/elected officials

Unfortunately, they still demand dollars.
Technically not true. The FEC ruled last spring that political candidates can accept bitcoin donations to support their campaign, however very few people have donated to any campaign's cause via bitcoin
