Well, for me bitcoin is an alternative payment as well as an investment. However, this is different from other types of investment, because I feel that this is an investment that has great potential to increase the assets we own in a faster time than other investments. Apart from that, bitcoin is also different from altcoins, because the level of trust in bitcoin is much higher than other altcoins. However, I feel that this is a technology that can change a person's life for the better if utilized properly, or vice versa.

We cannot use Bitcoin with current features to adopt as a payment mean due to so many limitations. We love btc but it's doesn't mean that we ignore the drawbacks. Indeed Bitcoin is not created for this purpose. Suppose if only one country start total buying selling through btc them number of transaction per minutes will be exceed more than 20k and we know it will cause Btc gas to ATH and also low fee transaction will be stucked. further more for buying 1$ , you have to pay 10$ fee which is not acceptable.

However it is best payment solutions for overseas payment and best assets so far after gold and silver. We can keep our fund safe, secure with fast access of use anytime, anywhere.

Bitcoin for me is just a digital currency that is only for trading or investing, nothing more than that, I never dreamed that BTC could be used as a source of legal currency for the country or used as a legal means of shopping/exchange with goods.
This should be the case because there are many countries that see bitcoin only as an investment or trading asset and even in my country the dream of making it a legal currency is completely impossible. Moreover, we have a legal currency that is regulated in the constitution so making bitcoin a legal currency is very unlikely to happen.

Bitcoin really means something to me personally, of course this is from the point of view as I said above, the point is that Bitcoin currently has and is showing a good impact on the entire world community, that is what I see from the meaning of Bitcoin.
From a general understanding, almost many people benefit from bitcoin as long as they can carry out their investments correctly. Bitcoin is another source of income from the permanent jobs we have today and bitcoin is also one of the most impactful in achieving the stage of financial freedom.

In my opinion Bitcoin represents a transformative force for the principles of decentralization, transparency and financial sovereignty.  Bitcoin is an easy way to break free from traditional financial systems and embrace a fully decentralized digital currency.  Moreover, the technology underlying bitcoin, blockchain, encourages innovation and empowers individuals to participate in peer-to-peer networks that transcend geographic boundaries.

Bitcoin is an innovation in technology. It came for some reason and is now being used as a multiple-usage asset. The value rise is the prime attraction, many say it as freedom, and with different terms. If we make a pool, we'll come to know that people are into bitcoin not because of the technology or the freedom it provides but for the earnings and the earning opportunities it has provided. In my understanding, it is an asset that has the ability to change one's life through its growth. This means a person who has bought bitcoin and is holding it will surely experience growth from the investment someday.

To me, it was one of the tools that made me realize that the government is not our friend, that many things that we have been told are actually lies, and most important of all, that the whole monetary system is a scam where it is very difficult to progress unless you are part of "the system"
I have also felt this myself in my country where there is nothing that can be fully expected from the government even though they have promised in more words but there is no proof at all. Lies always come from humans because all humans definitely have that trait, although not all humans will want to use that trait in all aspects. So it is very common for the government to lie even though the people have to bear it at their own risk after believing what they said before.

Bitcoin is a breakthrough financial innovation and digital currency that represents a paradigm shift in the digital world.  Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that works on the block chain.  Bitcoin redefines the traditional financial system by giving individuals control over their own assets and transactions.  Before learning about Bitcoin, I had no idea that it was possible to have complete control over your money just through the air.

I am pretty sure "freedom" will be the most common answer here as that's the creator's intention in the first place..

Personally, Bitcoin means choice, financial freedom from middlemen and bureaucracy, investment etcetra...its honestly not a one word answer to define it as it's a multipurpose asset that can be used for several purposes.

mainly another investing option - diversification...
diversification this is one word that defines Bitcoin well, love it  Cool

Bitcoin means a lot to me. But I couldn't buy them at right time. now it is very expensive. let see in future I would buy some bitcoin and gain financial freedom through it.
If you believe you cannot buy BTC at its price now, what makes you thing you would be able to afford it in the future. The growth of the BTC network is very fast, and with big events happening, like the approval of spot etf's in the U.S. market and the BTC halving, so if history repeats itself, BTC price is going to rise in price and value, which makes it almost impossible for you to buy. Rather than waiting for the future, start buying now through dca strategy with the little you have.
You are right in here. If we trace back its history, bitcoin price increase happens every year so if you see it expensive today, the more it will become expensive in the years to come. I guess there’s no perfect time to buy, because everyday is the right time to buy, so don’t wait for bitcoin price to go at its dip as there’s no guarantee when it will happen again. Instead, buy now even with a small amount of purchase. If you continue to do it with DCA consistently, your small amount of bitcoin will multiply until it reaches a significant amount to give you massive profits when bull run comes.

Bitcoin has multiple use cases and it doesn't have to have a single meaning for an individual. It can be considered an investment asset, a decentralized way of storing your money, and a safe and private payment method that you can use without letting a centralized institution know where and how much money you've spent. So it can have multiple meanings and use cases for even a single individual.

For me, I see Bitcoin as an investment asset as a first because I know that keeping my funds in Bitcoin is much better than keeping them in my local fiat currency is vulnerable to inflation and a lot of other things and my money will also grow in value when stored in Bitcoin. It is also a good storage for your money because you don't need to disclose how much money you have as savings or anything when you are keeping it in Bitcoin instead of storing it with a traditional financial institution.
All must have several views when talking and discussing the definition of bitcoin because for those of us who have high hopes for bitcoin will certainly consider this a blessing because this can be used as a reference to gain financial freedom or at least become one of the assets that is worth considering as an investment but on the other hand we must also be aware that there are still many people who think that this is a threat, scam and several other negative things because they do not like the existence of this bitcoin which makes them sensitive and will try to say that bitcoin is a very bad thing.

But whatever it is IMO we don't have to get hung up on what other people say because in the end when talking about bitcoin and the beliefs we have then we have to form beliefs and definitions of bitcoin according to what we understand and feel ourselves because in the end this determines your goal to be in bitcoin.

-snip-

Bitcoin is a key to wealth and financial freedom.

Just like you, I also consider Bitcoin to be my wealth and financial freedom. Because using Bitcoin will allow me to be able to transact more freely wherever I want without having to worry about privacy and very high fees. It gives me complete control over the assets I own because I can transact them, store them, or sell them whenever I want directly from my bitcoin wallet.
It also gives me the potential to get high profits in the future, if I hold it for a long time in the next few years, because the price of Bitcoin is predicted to increase and investing in it can give you a profit.

For now, bitcoin is my biggest source of income. Well, not actually bitcoin but the forum itself, but I also see to it that I never fail on accumulating and storing bitcoin on my portfolio as I believe that bitcoin’s value in the future will become huge and massive that makes it an ideal retirement for everyone. Bitcoin is risky and quite complicated and complex, but if you have the high motivation to engage with bitcoin, you will do everything just to make it happen so you won’t keep regretting in the end.
Bitcoin should not be complicated for those people who regularly use internet. with a little bit of learning and studying bitcoin is pretty easy to understand. the risk factor is true I agree with you on that. but can be minimized with proper techniques.

Sure, I got into crypto later than a lot of people.  And no, I don't have one of them Lambos or anything.  But I'll tell you what - finally being able to pay off some debts and sleep better at night? That's my little taste of freedom.  Bitcoin did that for me.  It gave me hope during some real tough times these past few years.  And Ill always be grateful for that.

You know man. it always feels so good to see how bitcoin is changing people's lives. and so this forum. Bitcoin is not just giving us freedom it is also empowering us and helping us solve our financial problems that we could've never solved with regular Fiat jobs.

In my case it's freedom. Freedom to do what I want with my money.
I want to gamble - fine. I want to take it with me to another country when I travel - fine. I don't want the government to know how much money I have -fine. I want someone to inherit my money without having to pay anything to the government (which IMO they shouldn't because it's my money and I want them to have it, not anybody else) -fine again.
The deal is, I worked hard for my money and I want to spend it the way I decide to. I don't need anybody telling me what I can or cannot do with the wealth nobody helped me to earn.
You are right, that is definitely something that would be very good to know and very good to do. I understand that it may take some time but that is what we should be approaching it with and I think it ends up with something better. I get that we are not going to end up with a good chunk of profit all that easily, but we are going to be free to do whatever we want and that is the power of bitcoin. It has allowed me to build the life I want to build, and this really made everything better for me.

There are of course some situations where you are still not allowed to do, and there are still some risks because of it but at the end of the day we are talking about something that would benefit everyone all the same in the end.

I love this and I love to always read positive things about Bitcoin, and truly, it deserves it. Bitcoin is not like other assets, the investment brought by it is very cool, and when one knows how to speculate its behaviour and act wisely, success will surely be made. And sure, Bitcoin is risky, many have lost through it despite its promising nature but it all depends on our knowledge about it. We can't just believe that everything about Bitcoin which is an electronic means to invest and make money will be easy and cheap, that is never possible. There are times that it might look so cheap but most times, you can be frustrated if care is not taken. This is especially the time that FUD is in the market.

Overall, Bitcoin is one of the best investments I've known, it is so easy and if one could know how to speculate it very well and also manage his portfolio cleverly, it will always be the means to earn easy money for the person.
Bitcoin is changing the way money works. Speculating is fun and rewarding when you expect to make a lot of money. The intellectual task of navigating its rough waters is, of course, something I enjoy.

Making well-informed choices is very important. People who have lost money on Bitcoin show that it has two sides. Its important to have a deep knowledge of how markets work. If you want to be successful at Bitcoin trading, you need to know what you're doing, be patient, and plan ahead strategically. Real risks and rewards.

When people support Bitcoin, they should also recognize how complicated it is, not just its wins. Market changes caused by fear need resilience. I do best when I take an eager but skeptical approach.

Yes. The price of BTC can vary dramatically. But that's the beauty of it and what is certain is that BTC will quickly grow and develop. But from what we have noticed, there are still many banks in several places that are still unfriendly towards Bitcoin transactions, but I think this will fade over time.

I see making money by investing in BTC is not too complicated as long as you are patient and wait it will be a good investment pattern and maybe even aggressive if the results are long term as well as bringing convenience to trading of course.

Hi everyone,

I would love to share my thoughts on this. My views are influenced by Saifedean Ammous book's The  Bitcoin Standart, that I just finished recently.

To me, Bitcoin represent a door to economic freedom, where it is possible to accumulate wealth and transfer it to the next generation.
It represent a passive way to stand up against government and to say : ''You cant steal from anymore. You cant devalue my savings anymore. You cant make of me a slave anymore''.
Bitcoin, in some ways, represent a set of values that is useful to any person who aspire to be a good person in life : it is honnest, disciplined, transparent, uncorruptible and peaceful.
Also, I see Bitcoin as the People's money - there is no chef, no elite or privilege group - accessible for everyone and is free to be used, or not, as people decide.

Finally, to me, Bitcoin represent a powerful ideology that can help people to finally open their eyes, see things they never dare to look at, be critical thinker about it, and take action.

Please feel free to respond or expand on this so that I learn from anybody perspective !
