TrustDice team here, again.
Well trustdice have improved the functionality in recent time and for the admin to create this thread for a room for feedback from forum members to further serve the community better
When I saw this topic raised, I was happy because I saw strategy, eagerness for more growth and humility in the admin. If this team of Trust Dice continues this way, by the end of next year, they will be in another level of business. Any business that is open to suggestions and criticism grows faster.
I also notice that Coinbox1 is always present to resolve any issues arising from using TrustDice. I am proud promoting your company.
Almost every Casino had a challenge at one point on time but the failure to tackle and deal with those challenges is what lead to bad encounters from the casino in using their service, here not because we all promote trust dice but because they have the boldness to face every obstacle that come through their site, address it and provide a long lasting solution to it, that's why it has been said that you don't run away for problems, but instead you solve them, the team is working tiredlessly to make sure that things are going well as expected and gamblers are enjoying their endless satisfaction in using their services, if what you're doing is truth indeed then you will be bold enough to address such in public which is just what their representative did.
Yep, that's exactly why we are here and have this post
As of KYC, we wholeheartedly acknowledge crypto users' concern about it because we also share the same concerns as crypto people ourselves. That's why we only limit it to less than 0.5% of the withdrawals we handle, which unfortunately triggered our anti-abuse or AML algorithm. Sadly, bonus abuse, multiple account abuse and identity fraud have always been a problem, and we have to deal with them regularly. Otherwise, we could have been more lenient on KYC and offered more generous bonuses.
Every user here should accept that KYC will be bound to ask in the future even if we don't like it or not. That's the reality we need to accept as every crypto-related service is now hitting with regulations even if it doesn't make sense to ask for a crypto-gambling site.
And does this include decentralized casinos as well? because recently, decentralized casinos have been popping up on this forum though majorly still in development, but they all flaunt that they are absolutely zero kyc casinos, since all their games are hosted on the blockchain, they have no access to users fund neither do they have access to users accounts to request kyc.
I personally have my reservations about this new innovation in the online casinos industry, but then, i look forward to seeing how things turn out.
As for KYC, I hope it will only ask it if it's really necessary or something that it really needs to ask for.
The only time a kyc should be necessary in gambling casinos is when they suspect some foul play in the gamblers account, or maybe the suspect the gambler is multi accounting, but it is rather unfortunate that many times, this has not been the case, the most times kyc is requested from a gambler have become when the gambler wins a big amount of money and wants to withdraw, maybe this is to discourage the gambler from laundering money, I personally do not know, only the casino can answer .
Yes that's exactly how we at TrustDice operate when it comes to KYC. We have in fact been constantly optimizing our mechanisms to minimize the impact on regular, legitimate players. In fact, this is an area where crypto casinos need to constantly invest in, but rarely talked about, because it is not very visible to the public.
Yea, it is only a company that cares for her customers and are interested to improve that will implement this kind of gesture. This is definitely one person's idea to push the company.
For NFT suggestion, I think it is a big distraction to the goal of the company. If I were to be an owner of casino, I will rather get a casino token like Owl and Betfury than venture into NFT with is a total different thing altogether.
As an ordinary user of the Internet and crypto-casinos, I naturally often encounter the need to pass KYC.
And I naturally don’t like it and infuriates me once again when they write to me on the screen that I have to confirm my identity. Actually, I don’t owe them anything, and if I won the money, they owe it to me. Since 99% of the players are not scammers, but honest people, many simply prefer to remain anonymous. Especially in the gambling industry. And KYC is definitely a step towards breaking anonymity, definitely. In addition, now, even without KYC, you can reliably identify a person on the network. There are appropriate methods and even among the owners of cryptocurrencies. Law enforcement agencies use them all the time.
And I hope that after a while KYC will become completely useless old and archaic garbage.
Eh! I wish such times would come sooner.
We totally agree. If on-chain analysis tools can offer the same kind of scrutiny that KYC provides, it is gonna be a great progress for everyone. Unfortunately it is not yet available at the current stage, based on our previous research.
