You can do a lot of things just by having an alt coins. You can involve yourself in trading as well as investing. In this way you can manipulate your money. Make it bigger. Trade it to some other coins.

Before investing in any altcoin i think that you could see the project's business plan and check the team. Now it' s more difficult getting gain because there are a lot of project and the first question that i do is: "is blockchain needful to that project?"
I highly recommend looking for an altcoin backed by business. They are much less volatile and I believe are a safe investment. Many of these coins have nothing behind them so over time they lose value but if a business was backing the coin the coin would always appreciate.
I look out for what type of project,Team Members, Advisors and their Community. If its good then i'll invest

Yes, I agree, but apparently the money is still not limitless, and less produced the long-awaited coin for a huge profit. ROSTO became smaller, profits too.
I would look at the development team and check out their LinkedIn profiles to determine their background. Also, I would check their social media channels and see whether they interact with the community and address any problems faced by their supporters. If both these criterias are checked, then I would invest in the altcoin. Also would read the whitepaper of course.

It depends on the platform, i invest in an ICO once and it is so successful because there is a time that it is about the platform of the project. That is my reason in investing to any altcoins now.
I think there are some indicators that encouraged me, includes project, team and the reward I receive. Encouragement could come from team understanding and without a solid team, there's nothing. The reward I receive is the probability of doubling my worth investment, just like how Bitcoin does it to others who invested to the coin in early days.

Totally agree with you. There are many options for raising your profits, the main thing is to learn it, because it's so easy to invest in the crypt, too.
The first thing that influences on my choice is the potential of the coin to become successful. To understand that you need to look in the concept of the coin, it may help you to understand whether the coin’s price will pump or dump.
By reading the whitepaper and browsing the Developers site, you can tell a lot. You will see if it has potential be big or if it's another scam. But encouragement comes from the community reviews and forums.
I usually invest in coins of ICO projects. Therefore, I am encouraged an idea of a project, potential of their team, success of a project in the future. 
I think 90% of people are because of the temptation of money, because the ultimate goal of investment is to get more money. Before investing, I will pay attention to their communities and white papers, so that we can know their direction and potential.

You can try to read between the lines and find out whether the people behind the altcoin are sincere and seriously working on it. That's not that easy and there lots of scams, so most of the times it's guts feeling. Now bitcoin makes it a little easier to get altcoins for a low price.
