some users mentioned lakeBTC, worth to try?
i use cryptsy because I like the interface, performance ,& high security.
And they have enable trading for $ currency. One more step foward  Cool

Interesting. I actually hate Cryptsy. Their interface is horrible. They take forever to credit deposits. And their trading engine is not real-time. It's extremely laggy. Very frustrating when trying to scalp pumps.
yeah, i remembered some users in this forum call them craptsy Grin
me too have bad experience with it and don't want use it anymore Sad
I used exchanges not much, bitstamp's liquidity is not very good, and the charges are so many even deposit; bitfinex makes someone feels good, but it does not fit me, I don't need short/margin, it's enough contented for me that just a simple buy and sell; coinbase seems simple buying and selling, but it is not a true exchange, lack many features; while lakebtc to meet my needs, simple to buy and sell, quickly and safely, complete bitcoin exchange service.

I think it is well suited for the demands of most people to simply buying and selling bitcoins.

I use Crypsty and Poloniex mostly.  I have been meaning to at least try some of the others in the community likes.

So far I use BTC-E most, but because of its poor service, and now I prefer to try LakeBTC.

Cryptsy....the mining pool I use (mulitpool.us) uses it regularly as a clearance house and when I trade on it I have found them to have fast payouts.

In the past I have used BTC-e and Mt (FAIL) Gox

Well, coinbase really isn't an exchange, but to me its close enough. I trust them and so far have been really good to me. Now, if I were wanting to go to a real exchange, bitstamp is probably the leader.

Yep, Cryptsy is pretty bad. I was really glad when Mintpal came along and starting getting some volume. Craptsy was starting to really get to me.

I use Bter a lot - I like their style and they're very reliable.
Use cryptsy a bit - don't like how they manipulate markets in advance.
Use quite a few of the others. No reason why apart feom the fat that spreading makes selling high volumes easier Smiley

Sorry what if one uses more then one exchange ?

I use : BTC-E, Bitstamp and Bitfinex
And a couple of different exchanges for the altcoins too

i also use all three of those exchanges. best not to put all your money on one -- still the wild west out here. (think about Gox!) i also use poloniex and mintpal for altcoins.

I use BTC-E, Bitfinex and Bitstamp. I prefer BTC-E for its superior trade engine / lack of lag. But for liquidity's sake, and also to not keep all my eggs in one basket, I spread my trading portfolio around a bit.

I've actually never used bitstamp. The only exchanges I've ever played on was btc-e and that was really only for trading bots. If I need to exchange any BTC for USD I sell within the forums or use coinbase.
