I don't know why but what always comes to my mind when asked by these questions are old school coins.
I guess it was tattooed in my mind and I can never erase it anymore.

I would always suggest Bitcoin first, then Ethereum. Top coins always tend to be profitable even in just a short time.
Look at Bitcoin, if you bought 1 BTC weeks ago then you are already at $4000 profit.
New altcoins, new projects, and new risks have no telling how it will end up even with DYOR. I prefer looking at people behind it and be sure they are what they say they are.

When starting an investment we should evaluate the altcoin project very well. Investigate if it have use cases, what the community is like, the rewards system and what initiatives it is developing. Which altcoin project in your opinion do we have to get involved with to make a profit y why?
Real world use case
Project relevance
Non anonymous devs
Good roadmap
Dedicated team behind

These are the only few qualities or factors that you should look upon for a project.
It might not be guaranteed to be a legit but at least these indicators are solid ones.

i agree with you. first don't be anonymous, the background of the development team should be transparent. and they must also have the ability according to their field. and real use is also important. without users, no matter how good the project and the platform is it won't make it worth it, because no one is using it. roadmap can also be a consideration. rather than looking at an ambitious roadmap, I'm more interested in a realistic plan according to the capabilities of the project. if this is in one of the altcoin projects you're looking at, it's probably a good one.

Usually its the generation of revenue that catch every crypto investors eye that determines whether the project is good enough for their money..
The active revenue will be coming from the usability of the product. These days there are lots of project have been manipulating it. We have learned a lot from the litecoin case when a crypto without active income will be a disaster.
The problem is so many developers were not able developing a useful product that can bring them revenue. this could be the main point but how solid the product must become another point as well.

every new project always makes beautiful words for itself without thinking about the failure they didn't expect at all.
That's the way to attract investors, they offer as sweet as possible with some plans/strategies.
So, if we are an investor, it is necessary to learn it carefully whether realistic/applicable or not. Also, try to check the progress of their some programs if they already did it. Once we find something wrong with them, it is better to not join or ignore it. A good project must have a realistic plan, proper strategy, and applicable programs. I never join a project because of the sweet promises on their whitepaper, but join because of some realistic reasons.

A lot of investors get fooled by such a sweet offering. Anyone could become a victim of this if we easily just jump on the boat without doing research about the project. I am hoping to have a regulation prohibiting such a game and stop this so we can assure that we are safe and our money will never lose in the air for such a mistake that we never want.

At this moment, it finds hard to know which one is legit and which is not especially for new projects. In fact, some to find legit at first but it turns scam in the end.

To invest or be part of any project in this crypto market you need to extra cautious as scam coins have increased after 2017 ICO and many shitty or scam coins are in circulation so have a research done beforehand to secure your funds and profit.

-Read the white paper of coin and know it's utility and what they are offering and whether it has potential to survive in the market.
- The team past development projects and how sound they financially as well as technically.
-what type of blockchain technology they are using and their working like pos, pow, poh and mining process.
-no hidden statement and they should be transparent in working.

Rest do you own research and find out whether they are legit or not and can survive this market in the long run.Every top altcoin on CMC has something unique to offer and potential to grow.

A good altcoin project should have a solid road map, real-life utility and a transparent team. Always make it a habit to read and analyze extensively their whitepaper. It will provide you with a summary of their missions and visions. One best example of an altcoin project that fits the above criteria is XSN, the native currency of Stakenet. I invite you to check them out.
Can a whitepaper project not be faked and only write beautiful words so that everyone will start to be interested in it when they have read everything? because every new project always makes beautiful words for itself without thinking about the failure they didn't expect at all.

Good responsive team is important part to make any project succeed along with use case.  You will notice that all altcoins that have succeeded and will continue to succeed provide daily updates to their userbase. If I am not seeing updates for a week or long that's not a good investment. You can read their whitepaper and learn about they are heading.

Majority of altcoins both new and old already posses better use cases that will fit in any world use cases so I don't see anywhere altcoins are lacking but I'm not a blockchain developer so I believe I can't answer this question right, a Dev should be able to come up with something new and rare out of the box
Yes, in the majority it is true, but if we look at the minority there are also Altcoins that have no benefits at all and have no real use cases in any world (Altcoin memes), so this also needs to be considered so that everyone does not judge everything equals the best.

I think the best projects to earn a ton of money are still blockchain, defi and NFT. But it all depends on your investment profile, if I think it's suitable, it's not necessarily the same for you. So it all comes back to the risk profile of each investment.
Yes, in general blockchain, defi and NFT can still be relied on to make a lot of money, even though all three have different risks, but for everyone they can still choose the three if it is considered very suitable for them to live.

Most of the altcoins project has user case that comes with so many features, and this feature differs according to the project area of specialization.

One way I determine a good altcoin is through its platform relevance to the real world e.g Video streaming and gambling platforms with their native tokens if you are lucky to invest in a good altcoin with a good use case you will make huge profits in a short time.

Ton Together | Save Smart & Win Big
Projects that will be there, in the long run, will be my favorite. So I always research their team members, product, and use cases extensively first before investing my money. I don't like anonymous team members, thou' probably it's now always wrong. I like to know who's people I invest my money to. I prefer a long-term project to short hype one. I love to see my money grow together with the project and I love to know the project has a working product before at least in beta version because it could prove its seriousness and have more than a concept. I love it more if it has a real use case in real-world cause I believe crypto is the future and it should be usable in real life

The best option? is Uniqueness mate that will give people a chance to make a good profit maybe not today but of course in the future because this will find His own market and investors and if succeed comes then Flow of money will come more and more.

Most of the projects nowadays has the same features even new projects, indeed as it's the common now to convince investors reason mostly emerging projects were to hard to determine , and as always its all up to us how to figure it out if it really can guarantee huge profits afterwards or it's a genuine project , even though it has a good features because you don't know if it's just a props such those copy paste projects which is scam..

The thing is, you have lots of choices to choose from especially when you go to the bounty section whether you want to invest with your money or your time. you have lots of options and most of them look legit until they launch their project then you see that they are not telling the truth and only a few of them remain a few months later. By having enough knowledge and joining group from your local board you can get some ideas from them on what kind of project will be trending this year so that you can invest in its early stage.

In my personal view, those projects who are in NFT could be good to invest today. Although NFT are not yet the norm but maybe one day the NFT will explode once there's hype. Do in research is necessary to invest in the right NFT project. We know Ethereum, Binance, and Bitcoin are given as potential and good for long term investment. Maybe nft will be the next.
