What I would do if I was him is to wait that 1 bitcoin reaches $50,000 - $100,000 and then I would announce that I would start moving and selling coins bit by bit. 95% of the coins I would sell and give to the humanitarian organizations and 5% or even less I would keep as a reward for changing this shitty world into a better place.

This would make Satoshi definitely a biggest man that ever walked the planet, if everything would go as I envisioned of course! Smiley

I think my first question would be, Why did you abandon your experiment? The second question would be, Can or will you ever spend your hoarded coins? That would answer some important questions for many people in this community. If I am allowed a third question, it would be < How do we stop the banks from stealing your technology? >

If satoshi nakamoto made an AMA, it will shake the world, even the media which not related to bitcoin/cryptocoin will compete to report it.
I think if satoshi going online again, the traffic to the server will overload, so overload they need to upgrade the server Grin
And then bunch of people will spam the forum with "satoshi is back" topic

if he can reveal a bit of himself, without revealing anything would be ok i guess, i'm fine with his anonimity, because if he still holding that large % of coins he is in dangerous

and his decision nowadays would have a less impact on the matter i believe...
I read somewhere that the amount of coins he holds is estimated to only be around 5%. 5% is still some serious money though.

yeah they said that he is holding 1M coins, but a less generous estimate, is talking about 700k only, either way not something that i would reveal to the public

there are people with 1k bitcoin that are afraid of revealing this in this forum, and you think that satoshi would do it with 700k, lol no way, everyone would seek for him, no matter what

Poll added, let me know if you find any other alternatives that would be suitable to add up there. Smiley

The media does so much more for so much less so that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Gonna create a poll just for curiousity to see what people would think about it.

Ahh, there he is, I think the search function in this forum isn't the best. Reminds me of reddit's.

It would be a hell of a day to all of a sudden see that account online again and active. I know I'd have so many questions.

Either it's me who can't find it through the forum's search function or it's not there any more.

I remember having seen it here before though and read some of the posts he was making in the beginning of this forum. Wanted to go back and read some of them for nostalgia but it's nowhere.

On a related note:

What would you say to him/her/them if the account in question started being active on these forums again or made an AMA?Smiley

Titled edited to relate to recent discussion about the actual creator of bitcoin more than his account on here.
