How many years have you been in the crypto space?
If you know the crypto market very well you might understand what's going on.

I suggest you visit those Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin news websites.  It'll give you up-to-date information regarding what's going on now but of course only those reliable sources.

You sold all your Bitcoin, I think it's time now to full your bag again.

I'm definitely going to use the little I have to buy Bitcoin right away. I believe it will surely pay off.

Well here personally, I am never one to give advice on buying or selling, but I believe that the best investment in the world is Bitcoin, to every person, friend or someone that I get and wants to give good advice is to buy bitcoin, because I know that it is the currency that in the near future will have great power, above any fiat currency, it will even have more value than gold, it will be the safe haven that every person wants to have for their life and be their insurance of life, this is something that I have always known and it will always be so.

When we review the history of Bitcoin we know that each ATH is higher than the other, and that it cannot be measured, I have a friend who told me that bitcoin can reach $1M in 10 years, and that is a very good thing I believe him...

Also in my experience, it is right time to invest in crypto just like a top altcoins BTC, ETH, BNB etc. In future, they will give a good profit when market will be stable and its price will be pump. Also search for a good project to invest if you want. (DYOR)

Don't be too sure about that, any project that isn't Bitcoin can collapse at anything even though they're currently top rated coins. We have seen this happened before and it just repeated itself in this bear market. There's no altcoin too big for the market.

Bitcoin is the only coin that can guarantee you a future profit. Other coins or projects can make one mistake and the community that was backing it leave the project and before you realized it, it has collapse. FTX made a mistake and they're paying for it.

They made use of customers funds for their own interests and immediately that information came out the exchange collapse. Just be careful with altcoins investment in this time of the market.
Mtgox, cryptsy , ftx and more to come will always there become a huge sentiment in our early crypto journey .. the ups and downs should be a routine that we aware about. For those who can see careffuly as an opportunity would become the one who enjoy the 100x ride in the future , that's almost a guaranteed rewards especially for those believers in bitcoin.

The revolution of money is very clear in front of our eyes , catch it or leave it in deep regret , we are in a very healthy market especially if it's about the bear and bull run , pick a side.

In fact you are not asked to 100% believe in bitcoin without any doubt. As a result, you have to keep thinking about the future, and you shouldn't put 100% of your money in bitcoins without having some other investment, be it physical or any kind of investment.

Bitcoin is the only coin that can guarantee you a future profit.
Your assumptions shouldn't be completely correct because the future is just a possibility. No one knows about the future, so how can you guarantee someone will get profit? Bitcoin won't guarantee your make good return, but because bitcoin has something good to consider as a long-term asset (adoption as currency), it's likely that trading won't just stop and the volatility will allow you to make or lose (depending on your investment management).

Always think about the risks, you have to treat them wisely and you have to be responsible for everything that might happen to your investment. Bitcoin is certainly a great long-term investment, but some altcoin can also be considered.

I agree that bitcoin is a safer investment than altcoins, but I also cannot trust bitcoin 100%, the future of bitcoin is still in question. Every investment is risky, even investing in gold is risky, so diversifying your portfolio is essential, don't pour all your money into bitcoin, it's a bad decision.

Not all altcoins are bad, but finding altcoins worth investing in is really hard and takes a long time. So I will only choose bitcoin for my crypto investment, the rest I will allocate to non-crypto investments.

You first registered in this forum in 2013. I would expect you to be familiar with Bitcoin price movements all the way from 2013... The current situation is actually normal and happens after every bull run.

You don't expect Bitcoin price to keep climbing higher and higher without any correction or consolidation phase.
You that no person that will be in the bitcointalk forum that will not about Bitcoin unless that the person objectives is not to understand the rudiments of cryptocurrency, maybe it's an altcoins account use to make a contradictory statement in the community here. the motive of this community is to create the knowledge of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, many people who are here that did not stay up to one year has been brainwashed concerning Bitcoin and talk more of someone who is up four years and more, it's unbelievable

   - You have a point in what you said my friend, after several years here in this forum industry still not understanding the most basic catch seems to be just nonsense in my opinion.

and this may be also one of OP's alts, we don't know, but anyway, I can only say that this forum platform contributes a lot when it comes to informing other members here. Because even I am learning a lot from this, to be honest.

Why is bitcoin trading at 2020 prices?
This is unbelievable!!!
I sold all my bitcoins in 2021 and went to live in another country and left the cryptoworld, but i'm shocked
Is this all because of the war?
Or because of the government sticking its nose into this market?
Nothing wrong in bitcoin trading in old rates. This is how bitcoin market works. This should be treated like second opportunity for the people who missed out the boat but started watching the market around the times of ATH. When you are confident about scaling back ATH, definitely you will come forward to risk something. So, in my opinion, revisiting the old prices must be a right approach for encouraging adaption rate.

Honestly I got interested into bitcoin when it hit $1000 for the first time and I got opportunity to buy around 5x lesser than that price levels in January 2015. I read many people wishing from on this community to enter and hold at cheaper prices. Simply we can say, bitcoin is playing with basic human psychological things.

Since OP is being outdated with those what happened in crypto for 2 years, he intends to create a Telegram group as a form of communication with anything related to crypto: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61382036

Seems it didn't create an interest in the community because of obvious reasons and in fact, it's not really a necessary thing to do. I hope his spirit didn't go down and don't think that the community is not that friendly. In fact, they are giving instead good pointers on OP.

Almost a month after creating this thread, I hope OP is at least now finally catching up on why crypto is currently on this kind of trend.

Hi all,my friends
I've been away from cryptoworld for 2 years and i want to ask something to the esteemed audience

This year was full of stab wounds to the Crypto market and Bitcoin, as currencies collapsed, exchange platforms went bankrupt, and the war between Ukraine and Russia played a role in influencing the crypto market due to the deterioration of the global economy, which all led to a sharp drop in the prices of cryptocurrencies and destabilization of the market. Also, governments have tightened the screws on crypto dealers, and trading in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has been banned in many countries, but the good thing about all of this is that the prices of the tokens are now at a great discount. You can buy back at this is the right time for that, but you have to manage the risks.
Or simply having these economic problems we do have in the market which is something that really affects this market even though its not assured that it is the sole reason but cant really deny that that it
is really something that do really have that kind of huge toll on how this market did able to react with these external events. Now we are really that on bearish market which the price do still able to held
up strong despite of being bombarded with lots of negative news lately in the market specially with that FTX and with those war and came from pandemic period.
All markets had indeed been affected which is really no exemption and as an investor then you should really know that it is one of the the risk where there's no assurance
that you would really be making out profits in future years to come. Its a matter of choice whether you could handle it out or not.

 -  It seems to me that the war between Russia and Ukraine has nothing to do with the fall of bitcoin mate. You probably know that the risk volatility of Bitcoin is too high, right? so you should not be surprised or surprised whatever the price of bitcoin is in the market today.

Then if you sold your bitcoin and you got some income from it, that's good on your part because at least you had a chance to get a profit from bitcoin.

It's good to buy bitcoin now in the market while it's low, then hold it long-term until 2024 comes to the bitcoin halves, which the community is expecting something good to happen in the possible bull run. Agree with long-time experts in this industry.

Yes, I understand that at the level of market speculation it is because of these things, it could also be said that according to Wyckoff's theory, which is the one I use and I always base my analyzes on it, I realize that we may be in a period of accumulation Of course this is what I have seen based on my analyses, I couldn't say anything more, because the price was going up and suddenly it went back, and looking for a law, we can blame what it means everything in the fundamentals in the world, as they have said before, war drums and some of the facts that some countries want to show power, that is something that we must take into account when the speculative market is concerned.

From the previous era of the bitcoin's all-time high, we experience already a good profitable market and not all the time it happens currently we are sitting with a price of 16-20k and which is the same last the ATH of the market if this might happen again there's a chance we see the lower price of 3k if this break the 10k mark and having a right time of investment you can grab the opportunity again to make a position and hold for the long term, it is ideal if you make yourself updated in the current situation instead of getting late again.

There are too many talks about what's going on, but in reality nothing major has happened so far. It has dropped after FTX as we all know, but since then it's just recovering small by small but that is expected and normal, we shouldn't really expect it to do anything shocking just yet.

The best thing to do would be making sure that people are focusing towards making money and I believe that the best way to do it would be getting in a position before it goes up and not many people realize that it will eventually go up and it will go up very fast, so waiting until it starts to go up will not work, it will be a bad idea and you should get in right now.

You are once welcome back again.  You don't have to apologise for your fucking statement. If you said you left two years back then you were very much conversant with 2020 because it was the same year you sold your cons as you claim and you are asking the forum to tell you the price of Bitcoin as of then. I is unbelievable because you were not a real bitcoiner I you were core bitcoin invest you would have known that Bitcoin is not stable.

Well the war might also have impact on it but not really. Bitcoin is not a physical currency that war, state government or authority can easily destroy it. What really happened is that the bitcoin market is not stable so it goes up and down and now it has come down again
Everything is fucking fine. Cheesy

This is what you do call an unpredictable market which you might see some bull run on the time that you had make yourself get involved and when you do stop and came back and
seeing the same prices then it would really be just a typical thing and not something surprising.

Anything could happen.Prices could crash out and prices could pump or fly out but no one really knows on what would happen in future years ahead.
This is why risk acceptance and management do really need on this investment which make yourself fully aware.

For a guy who came and registered here in 2013, I don't think such question is what you should be asking by now. Except you only registered and left almost immediately, otherwise your question should've been what your personal experience would've supplied you answer to. Well, I would say that what happened to crypto is price correction in general and nothing much to worry about. Those who're hodling utility tokens shouldn't be scared. Price will bounce back.

the case is the following:

1 - there was a war in ukraine that caused a world financial crisis, so bitcoin was also affected

2 - there was the case of Luna, you can research about it, it was another torment that caused the price to drop a lot

3 - now there was a very big and serious case of FTX that you can also research and you will understand everything

so these are the 3 points that made the price drop a lot, but the price will recover in the future, people have to be patient that it will recover

Actually, the price of btc and other cryptos are not predicted anyone, because it looks like to business. It is always changed and it will happen continuously. In my opinion, you know the crypto world goodly so you can invest low price coins such as shib inu, doge, tron, hbar, xlm etc. As I think that It will get good profit after three or four years later.

 Shocked

this is a big NO, man investing in these shitcoins is the same as offering money to some stranger and believing that this same stranger will bring the money back, this is a serious mistake, when the bitcoin market drops a lot the altcoin market it falls much more than bitcoin and when the bitcoin price recovers, the altcoin price only recovers against dollars but continues to fall a lot against bitcoin, not to mention that the owners of these shitcoins just create shitcoins to make money and disappear, abandoning shitcoin, the best investment and bitcoin, and safer and more profitable in the long run
