As usual, Bitcoin price tend to drop too much when in bear market and it would stay long until there's a halving that would trigger a bull run. There are few lucky people just like you who does earn a good profit during the bull market but there are quite unfortunate people too that didn't make enough profit during the bull run.

So now, we are in the bear market, it will be another long days of holding and accumulation phase. But if you are interested to get back in Bitcoin again, it isn't too late since now that you have a business I guess you are successful with it. Why don't you reinvest again and try to hold them for a long time?

You have an experience of this market already, I'm sure it won't be that hard to make profit in the future.
The most experienced tend to believe that bitcoin is in an accumulation phase due to the -76% price drop since last year's ATH. They have always believed that bitcoin has the potential to become more valuable in the future where $100K is the ATH target. If they are currently ignoring bitcoin as an investment asset worthy of their consideration, then I'm not sure as to why.

I recommend bitcoin more often than altcoins which also lose value in this bear market as a long term investment. Bitcoin is still the best and they must realize that now is the time to buy a lot.

There's no need to be surprised at what's happening with cryptos, as this is a regular occurrence after the bitcoin price made a new ATH late last year. If you have seen what happened to the crypto market in the past few years, you will understand that the cycle is now repeating itself to rid the market of useless tokens and coins. You should be grateful that you sold all your bitcoins in the last year because now you can buy more bitcoins at a lower price and hold them until their price creates a new ATH again. No one knows what caused it and we can only speculate by looking at the situation that is happening out there.

This is cyclical. These aren't 2020 prices actually these are more of 2019 prices when bitcoin almost went to rock bottom of that previous cycle. The same thing is happening right now with bitcoin in this cycle. Lucky for you that you sold at the right time and yes you are once again back in the market at the very right time if you wish to enter again. You might not find such low prices any time again, just compare this with 3-4k lows of the previous cycle.

I think that this is not thing to be wondering because ups and downs are related always with trading and investment and if you had previous experience then you should remember that in previous certain years bitcoin become down but as the time proceeded it come back to its high value. We all have firm believe that bitcoin will pump and even now its not so low to be buy easily.

Actually, the price of btc and other cryptos are not predicted anyone, because it looks like to business. It is always changed and it will happen continuously. In my opinion, you know the crypto world goodly so you can invest low price coins such as shib inu, doge, tron, hbar, xlm etc. As I think that It will get good profit after three or four years later.

Hi all,my friends
I've been away from cryptoworld for 2 years and i want to ask something to the esteemed audience
What the fuck is going on here?
I'm sorry,i don't have any other words
Why is bitcoin trading at 2020 prices?
This is unbelievable!!!
I sold all my bitcoins in 2021 and went to live in another country and left the cryptoworld, but i'm shocked
Is this all because of the war?
Or because of the government sticking its nose into this market?
What happened?Huh

 -  It seems to me that the war between Russia and Ukraine has nothing to do with the fall of bitcoin mate. You probably know that the risk volatility of Bitcoin is too high, right? so you should not be surprised or surprised whatever the price of bitcoin is in the market today.

Then if you sold your bitcoin and you got some income from it, that's good on your part because at least you had a chance to get a profit from bitcoin.

It's good to buy bitcoin now in the market while it's low, then hold it long-term until 2024 comes to the bitcoin halves, which the community is expecting something good to happen in the possible bull run. Agree with long-time experts in this industry.

Don't you know about crypto market that it is highly volatile? You may be able to see a huge pump again and the highest ATH price also. Now we are in bear market that's why almost all cryptos are trading at a very cheap price. So it's the correct time to invest in cryptocurrency in my thoughts.

Also in my experience, it is right right to invest in crypto just like a top altcoins BTC, ETH, BNB etc. In future, they will give a good profit when market will be stable and its price will be pump. Also search for a good project to invest if you want. (DYOR)

When you were in the cryptocurrency industry before you took a break for 2years, did you ever read any principle that said that coins will continue to go up and up and will not come down ?
That is not even the law of motion, anything that goes up must surely come down. So if you are fully involved in crypto before you took break you should know that bitcoin exhibit a cyclical movement, it will go up and come down.
Bitcoin is not a stable coin and it is volitile.

This is just a phase of Bitcoins, and it’s pretty normal to be honest. OP are you serious that you aren’t familiar with the trend that is going on? It’s basically just a bear run, which often comes. I mean it won’t be always that Bitcoins will climb up the prices. Rather than worrying about the price, it’s the golden opportunity to grab the Bitcoins in this low price. Don’t panic and buy as many coins as you can in this bear market.
He's just clearly been shocked on where prices do really ends up on the time that he had decided on going back to engage with the market, and since he had made out some profits with those pumping times.

Then it cant really be just avoided that you would really be expecting something high in towards price on the time you had decided to have some break or leaving crypto market for a while, which you would be
anticipating that on the time you would came back where prices is already on the rooftop but this isnt the case that he had able to see on the time he had able to do so.
Actually if you are aware on how this market works then this isnt something that could really shock you anymore.Youl would really be that familiarized and getting used to into these
kind of unpredictable movements. So there's nothing new with these kind of movements and situations.

I guess you already know by now the reason of this recent drop. For me, the major contributor was this FTX failure, and binance bailing out as they couldn't handle the mess FTX is in right now. There's always a reason why we will always have this up and down movement. And the government regulations towards crypto will for sure be a part of it. But I don't think the government can have total control on crypto market, because they can't.

Well, there are so many things that happened in the last two years passed --last year if you don't know, the bitcoin price reached twice the ATH in the market and some experts say that it will happen again in the future. But now bitcoin has struggled price to pump up because there are a lot of negative news that happens. If you want to grab the opportunity to restore back your bitcoin --do it now while the bitcoin price is very cheap in the market. Soon when the time comes, it will reach again the ATH's possible bullish trend will come.
By the way --welcome back to the community.

Oh,thanks,man
Benevolence has always commanded my respect
All attacked me as if i'm a newbie and don't know shit about cryptocurrency, but they have no idea that i read this forum as a student when Satoshi wrote posts here himself, but i haven't invested in cryptocurrency at that time
And i'm surprised that i was waiting for bitcoin price much more than it was

This is like previous events where the price will decrease after bitcoin reaches a peak. But this time, we didn't expect the decline to be very drastic and almost touched the lowest point in 2020 and has already passed the lowest price in 2021. This gives us the experience that bitcoin is still moving very wildly and can be at any price point so we have to be careful if we want to invest in bitcoin.

The cause may be war, global problems, or government interference in the market. But since the beginning of this year, a lot of news and events have decreased the bitcoin price. We can only survive and you have a good time buying or investing in bitcoin again, considering that you already made a profit in 2021.
Yeah, nothing really new in here. The drop in the price, the inflation/recession, the war, the collapse of the exchanges and any other issues. All of them are already faced by us even before. The op is already registered on 2013. He have more experience than the rest of us here who only discovered crypto during the first boom in 2017 but he is the one that acts like a noob.

I think with that experience of him he can just browse the forum topics to easily know about the latest happening or he can also search using some specific key words in google but I guess he just too lazy to do that and only want's us to spoon feed him with info's.

Why are you so aggressive,man?
I'm just interested in peoples opinions and what they think about all this
I've been away a long time
And yes,i sold over $50000 worth of bitcoin

Yes, the government still not understanding it that BTC couldn't be controlled so they stick their nose for regulatory capture, and crashing the market thru FTX collapse will be the start of it.
What i want you to understand is that government is against of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin right from upset, because from the initial they taught that Bitcoin will take over a fiat currency and their stocks money will not be valuable at any point in time. I want to you to understand that it's obvious that anything government is control of, they always look for a possible ways of eliminating it's establish.

Indeed the price of Bitcoin today 21/11/2022 is traded more and less at the $16k level, that's the current price far if you compare it to one year ago, but the current decline in Crypto if you study and read on the internet, you will find dozens of reasons and the Bitcoin/crypto market factor plummeted inyear 2022, but if you ask me personally, of course I don't associate war, government interference in the current phenomenon of the crypto market crash.

Government and war is not what we see this time and it's not the main factor, you remember the iraq, Afghanistan war and you remember the Chinese government treated crypto, but Bitcoin/other types of crypto can still go to the highest level when the time comes.

I am more inclined to fall on Bitcoin or the crash of the crypto market due to several things, such as: Global Inflation, rising interest rates, pessimistic investors and falling of FTX exchanges, I personally tend to think like that, falling of the crypto market this year, but I am sure and remain optimistic that all of this what is happening at the moment on the crypto/Bitcoin market will recover and reach its highest point again, when the time comes.

I am not surprise OP is completely lost about everything going around the crypto space having been absent for over 2 years.  Bitcoin went up to an ATH $64k during this two years of been absent and there have been series of events that has triggered this drop in price which includes FTX crash, and before now we had china ban on Bitcoin, regulations and many other events. And i will add that Bitcoin pumped too fast in 2021 and this added to the price retesting
