Or maybe start looking for a decentralized casino to avoid the hassle?
I think we should leave this until most gambling sites will be requesting their customers to do KYC. As of now there are still many crypto gambling sites that do not request for KYC from their customers to certain amount of money. So we can still enjoy the benefit until when all of them will become a KYC site.

I don't even know why some gamblers are afraid of doing KYC verifications. Even for casinos that doesn't require KYC verification, but it is not good to completely feel that they will continue without KYC in the future because they can reconsider using KYC and if a gambler meets such conditions, it will become very difficult for them to deal with since they never wanted a KYC casino. Some casinos are now making KYC verification mandatory and sometimes, they may not disturb you to do the KYC verification after registering until you have recorded large wins and by then, they may trick you such that your KYC documents will not be accepted. Have seen forum members complain of difficulty in their KYC verification in some casinos after they got a win and request for withdrawals, and it mostly occurs when it involves large wins. For me, it is not advisable to continue with a non-KYC casino. It is better done earlier than later.

But as for me I will do the KYC. The $5 to $10 that I use to gamble every week is not so much to let me be bothered about KYC.

Using $5 to $10 to stake every week is a fair amount but KYC verification is mostly problematic when trying to make withdrawals unlike making deposits. Some Casinos may not ask for KYC documents when making deposits but as soon as you win and request for withdrawals that is when they take it as high level of importance.

This is in connection back to the thread I made about casinos mandating users to complete Level 2 KYC by the end of the year. By now, we probably have an idea that over time, more and more casinos will likely adopt similar requirements.

So, here’s the question: if all crypto casinos started requiring KYC before you can gamble, what would you do? Would you go ahead and pass the KYC to continue gambling? Would you switch to fiat casinos instead? Stop gambling altogether? Or maybe start looking for a decentralized casino to avoid the hassle?
I think all online gambling sites will implement KYC for their users, and perhaps online sites that have non-KYC features will still require their users to do KYC. For me personally, like it or not, i have to do KYC, because after all i have to have fun on online gambling sites for entertainment. However, i only choose trusted online gambling sites, for example several sites related to this forum, so that i think they will be very trustworthy.

KYC can't stop us from playing gamble. Even as now all the casinos I am participating it is KYC oriented. So KYC is not a new thing in the gambling space again. It was at the first time when I came to the forum in 2022, that KYC prohibition was very high and I don't think it is still like that again in the industry. KYC is like a normal thing as Centralized Exchanges so nobody complain like before again and it is only few people complain.

Gambling is not my problem of KYC but the frequently asking for the KYC to level up is the issue foe me. If I do KYC once it should serve as fthe whole period and not to do KYC at all levels like some casinos do.
Yeah, one time kyc is not a problem anymore to most people, the issue is when the casino will have to impose kyc at different levels, that stressfull as most of the time, the document they are requesting maybe one we do not have and very difficult to get, so, one time kyc is not problem for most people I believe..

And like you said, gone are the days when kyc was really a big issue for most people, with centralized exchanges already implementing mandatory kyc verification before one can deposit any amount of funds no matter how small, this have made a lot of people start getting adjusted to ehe fact that kyc in the centralized world of online finance is becoming a must and one that one can not run away from, except the person wants to loose alot of opportunities.

And same in the gambling domain today, if kyc become the Norm for all online casinos, like I said in my previous comment, we choose a reputable casino where to complete the verification and make that casino our permanent gambling base, for those who do not want to give out their private information to multiple casinos through.

No, if kyc is finally implemented everywhere in crypto casinos I will not submit a single document, and what I will do is to stop betting in them at least for a while.

Although I have to say that over the years casinos have implemented more and more kyc and until recently I have been able to bet without submitting any documents. However, I usually make small deposits, between 30 and 100 dollars, and I have never won a large amount with which I have tried to cashout.

For me, there is no problem as long as the casino gambling is reputable in the cryptocurrency business. But if it is new and has not been proven yet, then I am a bit doubtful about asking for KYC. However, if it is like duelbits, livecasino, Rollbit, and others that have been here for a long time on the forum, then I am fine with it.

I am more satisfied as long as the casinos have been here for a long time on this forum platform because I am 100% willing to comply with the KYC that they require, and besides, it is their rules, so we should just understand that.
That is why we must select what casino that we can use to playing gambling. We can choose the casino after we research so we don't choose the wrong casino that may scam us. That is something that we must avoids and luckily, we have this forum that help us to find the casino that suit us to playing gambling. When we can find the right casino from this forum, we will not have a problem to do KYC because they can protect the member's document. The casino have their rules so we must understand and obey and if we are not agree with their rules, we can search for the other casinos.

Passing kyc have never really been a thing of concern to me even though I understand very well the risk of exposing my personal information to third parties who might end up using it for other illegal purposes other than for kyc verification, and understanding this risk is the reason why I choose to only kyc on legitimate platforms that have stood the test of time and proven their worthiness in the industry.

When it comes to casinos like stake, rollbit and a very few others, I really do not have any problem giving them my personal information for kyc verification..

So, the conclusion is, if at all we come to a stage where all crypto casinos start demanding for kyc verification before we are allowed to gamble, I simply will choose one casino, (Stake for example) pass kyc verification there and start playing there alone, I don't need to many casinos because, the more casinos that has my personal information, the higher the chances that my information may end up in the wrongs hands.

I think it won't be a problem for me, I will do KYC and fulfill what I should fulfill on my account. Because I don't want to bother trying to find another casino that doesn't enforce KYC, let alone a fiat casino, it won't be possible, and also I'm not an important person, so it's okay with me if they ask me for KYC, I will be happy to provide it, after all it's for my business to play on their platform and I have to comply with their ToS.

Why would all crypto casinos require KYC when a lot of crypto are decentralized in itself? It would seem a bit contradicting for me. But let's entertain this thought process for a minute. When you say all crypto casinos do you mean online casinos? Because there are still online casinos where they only ask for fiat. I can't deposit fiat without my information being exposed to the casino one way or another.

So the safest way here is to find a casino that is decentralized but what will I be using in a decentralized casino? Won't I just use crypto because like I said it is the one that is decentralized? But let's say without crypto/fiat casinos, I will just probably hold my own betting site at that point. Not understanding the point of this hypothetical situation that doesn't even make that much sense in the first place to me.

Naturally, I don't think those who've made gambling a pastime will want to stop because of that. They would expectedly move to fiat casino, especially if they've that option. That's what I would do too. However, I believe it's pertinent to state that whether a casino demands a KYC immediately while registration is ongoing or not, we should expect that to happen later. Whenever, I see any centralized site saying it's KYC free; I laugh. I experienced it with Binance when it started. It was KYC free for early users until it came out with optional KYC and then made it mandatory at some point.

Crypto gambling sites are far better than any fiat sites and this is enough reason for me to opt for KYC.
The primary choice would be to look for alternative crypto sites which has no KYC.
But if there are none then in that case I would opt for doing KYC in just one of my best casino sites and stick to it.
Yes, there are still some casinos nowadays that dont require KYC for you to be able to play but there are already some gradual changes when in speaking about KYC
verification which do really sucks because we've been used to deal up with those casino sites in the past without having any issues when it comes to deposits and withdrawals.
Now, it has changed on which they do really make up some gradual changes on asking some verification but well if there's still way that you could really be playing
without having those verification then go into it but if there's no other option then we do have to deal with it and just like on what you have said that we should be
that sticking into the site that we've been trusting up for so long.

This can give advantage to the casino.
It is not a problem for me to KYC, but i several times got restrictions when casino decided that i wins to much. The easiest way is to decrease bet limit.
Now i can create new account and make some bets with withdrawals after every win until the casino decide to KYC me. If casino would KYC me during the registration i can`t create fake accounts. I will have to choose another casino without restrictions. The problem is that some moment the casino will end.
PS. I don`t like to create new accounts, but several times i saw how the casino give me $1 limit. I didn`t cheat, they just stopped my winning and i can` do anything with it due to ToS.

I can not switch to fiat casinos because they are not better than cryptocurrency casino therefore I will have no choice but to continue using the casino by completing my kyc verification.
I think most of us can relate, being in crypto isn’t just about gambling; it’s about investing too. We’re here because we see the potential, and the only way for crypto to thrive is if we keep supporting it. Casinos play a big role in driving the market’s growth, so even with regulators stepping in, our support shouldn’t waver.

As for me, I’ve got the option to gamble in fiat at local casinos, but honestly, when it comes to taxes (or avoiding a bit of them), crypto casinos operating outside our country just make more sense. It’s practical, convenient, and still aligns with the goal of supporting the crypto ecosystem.

I think with time alot of casino are going to implement this requirement therefore it is not something that we can run away from forever and we can not just stop doing what we are enjoying because they asked us for verification that will keep them in business because I think the government are behind this new rule. Casinos have on choice even though they wanted to opposed because they will lose their licence and go out of business. Casinos that I have trusted for a very long time are still going to get my trust by me verifying my kyc with them to keep gambling.

Yes, to a certain amount or threshold, there is still no KYC, albeit, I remember some casinos who has a 2 BTC limit before asking for mandatory KYC, but it only applies if they really win big and going to withdraw that kind of money.

But as for me I will do the KYC. The $5 to $10 that I use to gamble every week is not so much to let me be bothered about KYC.
Good for you, but there are gamblers that really play big and what we call whales. Some of them are here, we might not known them, or very familiar with that name but they don't disclose that they are big gamblers. So perhaps this is a question for them, and i will reckon that they don't have a choice but to adhere with this mandatory KYC.

Do we still have to think that there will be no KYC from casinos? If I'm not mistaken, ever since 2018, this has started and now gamblers knows that this could be the norm now. We should know that sooner or later, KYC will be asked specially if we win big in a casino.

So there you go, we should be ready with our KYC and personal info to be given in cases that casinos are going to ask for that. And if you look at their ToS, it's already written there, we might not read the fine print, nevertheless, but today, it's already a standard and gamblers should know about it.

I didn't this as something bad from casinos because normally before we should start gambling we should try as much as possible to pass kyc before even think of making deposit to gamble site, with this we can be sure that the gambling site wouldn't for any day manipulate us again or even trying to request for more additional documents since we had already completed our verification before gambling. This alone makes us free from any kyc issues except otherwise the casino want us to undergo another separate kyc outside from the existing kyc we had already passed from them.

Decentralized ones are pertaining into those blockchain based games on which you do make out bets directly and this one involves fees and bare in mind that how its owners do make out money of it?

It's easy, they make it out of the fee when the payout comes, or based on the spread of the bet or directly with the odds they offer, that's how Satoshidice worked for years, a simple blockchain-based game and even that one was not completely decentralzied. The problem is that you can't really offer anything more complicated than below/above in terms of decentralized betting without even at one single point making a human intervene in this, good luck offering sports bets for example.
