Depending on what you are waiting for, I do not think it will be possible to make simple money on bounty, or that the bitcoin will again cost almost $ 20,000
2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.

Next year there will be another situation with cryptocurrency. By its nature, a cryptocurrency can not long stand in one place. Its price will rise or fall. In 2019, after such a long period of stagnation, our coins tokens should grow in value. The only question is when this will happen. Anything can happen in cryptocurrency but i do believe cryptocurrency will growing bigger in 2019 and year after. More company join in cryptocurrency and creating good project and i am believe 2019 will be good year because beside traded in biggest stock market nasdaq, i think bitcoin will reach highest price again
That is, price movements are very unexpected. We must not be afraid of this decline because I am sure there are still many opportunities to make a profit. Just wait and see if we are afraid of risks while waiting for the green bar all day long. 
I will make sure that there will be a positive change in what I am doing. I will still sow and sow until reaping will come on its way. Personally, I am believing that something will happen this 2019 but I will expect less than doing less. If the right time comes and God wants to bless us. Then so be it. I will also do the necessary things to grow in every aspect of my life especially to my family, my career, my knowledge towards generating income and having a fruitful investment. Anything can happen in cryptocurrency but i do believe cryptocurrency will growing bigger in 2019 and year after. i'm very optimistic in 2019. crypto world always suprised me. everything can happen. so many companies that implemented the blockchain technology to their payment, i think more companies will follow in 2019. also, i think the crypto communities grow higher in 2019. so many important event in early 2019, if it running successfully then 2019 will be awesome year for crypto.
If people stop supporting this technology then nothing will really happen next year but as you can see the community keeps pushing for the adaption of crypto and blockchain technology all over the world, lot of companies now are being interested on this new technology and willing to make some investment in the near future.
Day by day i was hoping crypto situations will be better and better but if the results beyond out of my expectation then i will wait patience until it better again and if on 2019 the situations not change then nothing i can do besides wait for next and next years but as OP says that blockchain technology adopted were increasing which mean people starting to admit this technology useful then there will be more opportunities for next year to make crypto better
In addition to simple waiting, you can do something else, you can start trading. There is no need to wait a year or two. Just think about it. Faith is good, but it doesn't make profit by itself, so take your financial position in your hands and learn how to trade. 
No, this is not the end even though the bear market continues until next year. After a fantastic increase at the end of 2017, it is quite reasonable if there is a long decline, this is a frequent cycle. We only need to be patient longer and be more careful, prepare plan b, plan c, to deal with these difficult times.

if nothing has changed in 2019 maybe I will leave Crypto for a moment and look for other businesses that can make money. but I don't want all that to happen, I hope that in 2019 the price will be like 2017, that's all.

I would not want this to happen. It seems to me that the cryptocurrency market has reached a low point and we are waiting for a good growth in 2019.

If in 2019 nothing changes from the positive development of crypto, that good change will probably occur in the next year or time. As long as crypto still exists in this world and still has a supportive community, crypto can again increase at the right time. This is a year of decline in market prices because in 2017 the market has experienced very high prices. And what will happen in 2019 must be the opposite of the previous year in 2018. But I am sure that 2019 the market price of crypto coins will definitely recover.
