Market is changing even now , It has changed more than 10% in December , Of course if you mean big changes like what it was in Dec 2017 , It needs a lot of time and patience but I'm happy with small changes too and I can get some profit with trading , don't need to wait for big changes .
I hope what 2019 was better then 2018, in 2018 we see only drops with one exeption. One time on spring prices rise.

It is a possible but at the same time implausible scenario. Most likely there will be some growth in next year. I don't think that we will beat all time high, but still.

Many things will change in 2019. I guess, after the fork of Ethereum in winter the cryptocurrency will gain. People will understand that ETH is great and will start showing less interest to other altcoins.

Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.
Personally, i don't think that will signal the end of cryptocurrency if nothing positive happens in the first quarter of 2019, right from 2009 till date crypto space have seen longer bear market than this and crypto didn't die this won't be an exception. I doubt that next year nothing will change, but to exclude this option is also impossible, so you must be prepared for anything!

How many years or months have you been in crypto? It seems to me you are too worried about the prices not getting back to their all time highs. Just relax. Keep calm and continue to support crypto. Promote it to the people around you. Use it where you can. It cannot be winter forever. Just like the four seasons every year, there will always summer. And most of all, look at the historical data. We are rising overall.

So in case the year 2019 remain to be still not the highly increasing year, it may become the year after 2019. But I am sure that one day the crypto currency will show great results again and those will get the profit in future who is more patient nowadays. But it is my opinion. It may differ.

Day by day i was hoping crypto situations will be better and better but if the results beyond out of my expectation then i will wait patience until it better again and if on 2019 the situations not change then nothing i can do besides wait for next and next years but as OP says that blockchain technology adopted were increasing which mean people starting to admit this technology useful then there will be more opportunities for next year to make crypto better
If nothing changes in 2019, I will be upset, no doubt. However, I will not give up and simply continue to be a hodler. Sooner or later, but the cryptocurrencies, mostly the top-20 alts, will gain greatly.
I would still hold my crypto assets till we will finally see the next bullish market. It is hard to believe that crypto currencies are going to disappear after such a massive capital investments in this industry.

simple enough, if nothing changes in the next year we could wait until the front again. but I have confidence if the market improves in the crypto mid next year, although it's not a huge change but I am sure there will be some improvements soon.
