It's almost 6 months since the coronavirus took its toll on every aspect of human lives. it has been accompanied by widescale job loss, a rise in the unemployment rate, a reduced standard of living, and intense hardship. From the economic perspective, what will be the fate of the global economic situation and normal day to day business if this pandemic doesn't go away by the end of this year?

Right up to this moment, there are already countries who have opened up their economy for the reason that the economic status of their country is already struggling that they seems to be not taking it any more specially its people so they are already opening establishments slowly on a minimal capacity so that production of goods and services would take place bringing people to get back into their works but with the consent of implementing strict precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the workers and the people visiting the establishments.

If the pandemic would still persist at the end of the year, then it would be so hard for the whole world to lift up the economy since most countries are affected by the virus. But implementing the "new normal", would really be a great help to somehow lift up the economic state even pandemic is still on.

now the pandemic is predicted until the end of the year. in addition, the number of positive people has also increased. however, now people are getting used to the pandemic. some cities in my country are already doing normal activities. besides that, the numbers of positive people have also been rarely informed, maybe because there are so many.

It will last the entire year! New cases, higher numbers again, in my country we have some restrictions again. It will be interesting when winter comes again and when cold days rise numbers of sick people again, flue or corona, bad days are coming. We are waiting for second wave, but there can be a third as well. This year is a mess already, and some tourist countries will have bigger economic problems than now. They can just hope for vaccine, it's the only thing that can save this and future seasons.

Whoa! that will be a definitely take a toll on this industry as well as any growth we expect to see in the future. This pandemic has stalled so many projects and developments already. This has weakened so many economies inthis world and if this should really go on for another 6 months then surely most countries will end up with huge debts.

That would be the case, and I think that is what's happening with other countries now.

In our country, the debt was added and most of the people here are actually wondering where it went. They think that the government is corrupting the money but we never know what really is happening behind it. Either way, I hope that we will be having the vaccine before we meet another year so we can leave this hellish year behind.

I think it is going to stay until the end of the year no matter what people say. Even if we get the vaccine it's distribution to all parts of the world is still going to take a whole lot of time so it will definitely stay. But I think there won't be lockdowns anymore. People will now become much more habitual and they will now take this as any other normal disease. Also it has been proven that fatality rate is pretty low this has made people much more reluctant. Economically I think horrific would be the impact of the lockdown that we have already had. That would be pretty dangerous as we have already got a lot of problems like unemployment etc. to deal with.

The way the pandemic is going, it might persist till the end of the year unless there is a vaccine or any other quick recover identified. The past months have been serious challenges for all sectors of the economy and there is no sign of getting better. This has though many that one source of income is not enough to balance financially in this challenging world.

Of course, a vaccine is the only way that we can really stop this pandemic which has been gripping us. But the thing is, we can't control when this vaccine are going to be release to the public as it is being tested in many laboratories. What we can do is really follow protocols, (wearing masks, social distancing) if we wanted to survived not just physically, but economically as well.

Governments have no choice but to let some businesses to operate in this new norm. Because we can't really just sit up to the end of the year and do nothing and be defeated. So it's really a hard decision for nations to ease the lockdown, but at some point, we should start rebuilding and let our countries move on the positive direction.

In our country the devastation is already felt, for over 3 months of lockdown I can tell that it already affected every sectors and if this crises will take longer it will be a different story.

The government funds will run out for sure and government loans will pile up, unemployment will continue to rise because a lot of businesses forced to close even at this moment.

I think we need to be really worried if it persists as bad as it is now for the rest of the year.  I think we are already going to see massive unemployment beyond what we have now, a very sizable drop in the stock market, and countless of effects short, mid , and long term on the economy and peoples livelihoods.

I fear that if the population keeps going outside and ignore all the warnings about the masks this will end very badly even if it continues for just 2 more months. Yes, governments of the world decided that it is time for people to back outside but they didn't say they could go outside like everything is over. You should still wear your masks and if you can even wearing gloves would improve your chances of survival higher.

If you go outside because you are allowed and not wear any masks, you are not only endangering yourself but you are also endangering others as well which is why I think you should definitely be careful, even if you do not think for yourself at least think for people around you. I have successfully managed to still stay away from people even though I am allowed to go outside, it is really not a good time to go out right away today, I will wait for idiots to get infected first before I do anything.

The middle and poor classes will be affected by this epidemic, and many people will start to suffer due to delayed salaries or job losses.
Many governments will begin to gradually lift the restrictions and the movement will return to life.
I do not rule out that the balance of power will change and that some governments start imposing more taxes against the middle and poor classes.
The gap between these two classes will be reduced.

Anstren I agree with you about one thing, the middle and poor class will be affected, and that's never change. In every bad this
two classes suffer mostly. About reducing the gap between these two classes I don't agree, I have the opposite opinion about this
the gap will be wider. In last 50 years system makes poor people very poor, and lower middle class doesn't exist anymore. Higher
middle class is now a rich class. The gap is wider then ever and we need big changes to reduce that gap.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
This is inevitable, it's already predicted that our economy will struggle and we will be in crisis, so we have to be ready facing this reality.
Lucky are those who have jobs now and those who have business that are open until now as they will survive and continue to make money, but we can't deny the fact that due to this pandemic, a lot of lives are already affected, some loses their job and some companies get bankrupt, this is happening, and it's happening globally.
we really have to prepare for the worst. it's just that, in my country, activities have started returning to normal. however, I don't know what will happen to people who lose their jobs, it seems like they need to find a new job. to be honest, until now, the pandemic has no specific treatment. it's just that people no longer care about the situation and return to activity.
This is the biggest issue, returning to our activities makes sense as we cannot stay in our homes forever waiting for the vaccine, but at the same time it is as if people are forgetting that we are in the middle of a pandemic and that we need to take care of ourselves, this is something I am seeing in my country and I do not like it one bit as the number of cases was climbing even when we were still taking many precautions and that number will only grow as people relax the measures that slowed down the virus, and this is really bad news for the economy as many businesses that have not opened their doors will be forced to keep closed and many jobs will be lost because of it.

There are many news that talks about having the cure in the start of 4th quarter.

But of course this is not what we must expect because there might be a misleading towards this for the world to get easy and back to normal,

There is also some talks about This virus is not that hard, and this is not true pandemic because those past pandemic all of the victims died and did not survived.

But about if this persist until the whole year?then for sure the world will suffer in deeper loses and might not recover the whole next year.

The most frightening thing is of course when talking about this corona pandemic if it lasts until the end of the year. clearly there are still six months to go and something could happen, and no one can predict exactly.

the good news, of course, is that if drugs and vaccines can be found, the pandemic will end and return to normal. if not also found drugs and only do "physiscal distancing" is very vulnerable. because the level of concern of people is very diverse and there can be no guarantee of going well, it must be remembered that "physical distancing" only limits the healthy so as not to be infected with the sick.

the world economy will certainly be disrupted if until the end of the year it is still sustainable, because all foreign exchange reserves of each country must be issued to cope with this pandemic. from purchasing medical devices and assistance to unemployed workers and directly affected poor people.

what is most feared for poor countries is that there will be a new pandemic besides corona, of course, hunger. This is very scary and can be more dangerous.

I don’t want to scare the community, but there is still information that the virologists from several institutes in the UK have presented to the world that there is a very high probability of getting a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. If you take into account the official statement of the US government, then America already has a second wave, which is spreading in such States as California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Georgia. According to data only on Saturday, June 27, 44 737 cases were detected throughout the country. scientists suspect that the second wave of coronavirus may be a little more complicated than the first wave. their research is based on the situation with the Spanish flu of the last century, when the second wave of the virus claimed much more life than the first wave.

If this pandemic still roaming at the end of the year, then the economy might gradually decrease. The covid might make trillions of lose in global economy since some businesses cannot operate well and since some country temporarily closed their place. Mostly of people too will faced a day to day struggle in finding how to resolve their daily needs.

If the pandemic does not end until the end of the year, we have to do something to survive. Maybe I try to live economize,
by buying some items that are considered important. Then try to find ways to make money from home, because if a pandemic
still going on the safest way to stay at home. And finally by running the health protocol to prevent the spread of the corona
virus. By doing that, I am sure we can all survive until the end of the year or be able to survive until the vaccine is found.
