it's realy good, people will start search about bitcoin info, but in the otherside there are also many ppl who will not support bitcoin. I think bitcoin will easily hit $3000 for 1 btc if anyone one to advertise on TV for 2 month
Right on this, things will be good with that, and big pump will be coming if we advertise on television even in radio. Many investors will be more interested on our community and things will be good and smooth, but for sure there will be bushers that will come too.

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Yes. It will affect many people because they will see that many people are using bitcoin today and they will also see the advantages of it. They will be amazed and want to learn on how bitcoins are earned and how it works. This type of strategy will be very effective. And many people will gonna use bitcoin if it's happen.

That would be very good because as we know all the things that advertised on TV is becoming succesful. I think in that strategy we will get the attention of many people to use or buy bitcoins. We will show to them the different advantages of it. I think many people will have interest in bitcoin. They will somehow look for a good way of earning bitcoin and then build a business that will lead them to a good earnings of money.

Hard to know. I dont think that someone will spend their money in order to bring Bitcoin to the television. Moreover, the government dont like Bitcoin at all. They will not accept it to appear widely

Who would advertise about this? No one would profit from advertising bitcoin itself. Maybe gambling sites could advertise, but that would only target those who already are familiar about bitcoin.

Advertising bitcoin on TV ,in my opinion ,would really work, because its popularity has not yet entered the masses. But such advertising would not like any government.

It's a very bad idea dude! because ads is not a easy think, there have many complexity and its not possible. If you are thinking about this, many questions stand up behind this.
who will pay for this?
who will represent this?
will every country accept this?
and the most important part is how you will promote the coin?

Yep and most adults today is not that open minded regarding Bitcoin but lets generalize it, the digital currency or cryptocurrency since they all think of it as scam. Itwould be effective to do it maybe many years from now where the young omes in the current generation would replace adults which in this generation is what more open minded especially in technological advances.
That is not true that most of the adults are not open minded because if you swill do a survey you will find out that the most investors in the cryptocurrencies are adults because they have the capability to invest such a lot of money in cryptocurrencies rather than the young adults. I think the kind of people that are close minded are those old ones and not the adults because the old people like grandfathers and grandmothers are not so exposed in investing in cryptos rather than the adults.

I believe that advertising on the internet is a good option as compared to that of television. There are lots of lots of people who are using the computer and the internet but still, they have no idea about blockchain or bitcoin technology. I think they are the best potential users for bitcoin and to strengthen the network.

I appreciate this advertisement by blockchain.info do watch this and share it:

Bitcoin Blockchain.info Commercial Ad.

It would be good to these community and to all bitcoiners out there. In my country I've only seen bitcoin in online newspapers where they announced that central bank is open in regulating bitcoin. I also think that it depends on how the media will announce it to people. If the elites are mad at it then it is possible that the media will be used to threaten its usage. If the media will advertise bitcoin in a way that somewhat telling how the currency world will function in the future, then people will be curious and will have an interest on it.

I think this would make it incredibly difficult to get a consensus on which ad would be shown, as well as finding sponsors to foot the bill. TV ads aren't cheap Wink

The only consensus needed is from the person or group paying for the ad. (By the way, when you're the first response on a thread you don't need to quote the original post.)

Having ads on TV is a great idea! The challenge is find the person that's willing to spend tens of thousands of dollars to advertise bitcoin on TV for zero direct payback in revenue to them. We're not talking about advertising a business, we're talking about a currency and investment!

Any thoughts on how to solve that problem?

EDIT: I suppose mining operations would benefit the most from transactions, so they should be the entities with the greatest incentive to advertise on TV.

Advertising on print, radio or television will be hard to do as at today because they are highly regulated by several government agencies which I know any owner of radio or television station will want to avoid compared to the internet which I have seen in several places and even forums. But, I hope in few years when government is able to understand that the world is going digital, then television or radio advert can be done without any repercussions from either government or its agencies.

If OP wants to advertise it on TV, let it be. It is a good idea but of course at his own expense. NO one owns bitcoin, and anyone can promote it at his own capacity. You can say if you have a store  "This store accepts bitcoin" to let  your customers know that you accepts bitcoin too.

And who is going to pay for that? Paying for ads is extremely expensive, I think we are better doing what we have done to now, we spread the word on the internet and social media and anyone that is willing to listen can take advantage of the opportunity bitcoin bring to us.

Yes.

Yeah that will be a great idea.
Bitcoin will be more popular to the people.

I agree with you. Advertisement will be such a good help for bitcoin to attract more people to get into bitcoin world because a lot of people in the world have television in their houses so bitcoin advertisement on TV will be the best idea to promote bitcoin rather than promoting it on social media sites. I hope this kind of advertisement will reach to my country so a lot of people will be interested in bitcoin.

That's very good idea, nowadays everyone watch tv and the best way for advertisement is tv so it will definitely increase the popularity of bitcoin and more people come and.invest their money in bitcoin. But there is an issue bitcoin is decentralized so may be government doesn't allow to advertise this on local tv channels.
It will be popular for sure but will it be any of use for them? We must be able to give them a lot of options when before. Let say 50% of the people are using Bitcoin but they later found out that no one or no business is willing to accept it, then it would end up being pointless that it became popular with no use, it will give Bitcoin a bad image.
