It was an unpleasant experience for sure. I've experienced as you told me, I once felt a fall and my life was destroyed because I chose gambling as a job. For me that you should not choose gambling as a top choice because gambling is a risky thing. I think you should be able to choose other things to invest and make gambling as an entertainment, it will help you to avoid bad things happen. Exactly, job has no link with gambling. I think he belong job with gambling becasue of risk. But I would consider some part of life's own as good gambling.
You are right though, this is a life that no one knows tomorrow and we keep doing things believing that we get the best out of it. While some will do the same thing and get the best result, some will and then get the worst result. It is just how it is and even in every investment, the same situation applies and we just always wish for the best.

When I read your title I thought you wanted to know impact that gambling has on people's life, then you narrate your story which I feel is sad and stupid, it's basic gambling rule, never to gamble with friend's money it can have its consequences. Not a bad one as I set a bankroll, sometimes weekly and sometimes monthly and this is only money I can afford to lose. I only play soccer bets and I do a lot of reading during the day to analyze the game to the best of my possibility. Sometimes I end up with -ve bankroll but most of the time after a month I end up with positive bankroll. Nevertheless to have a normal life and to not have bad impact from gambling remember the golden rule, only bet money you can afford to lose, otherwise your life will be impacted in a bad way by gambling.

Yeah bad impacts mostly hits people rather than the good one. Gambling are dangerous when you have no control over your greedy. It's destructive especially if you didn't responsible in gambling, no doubt you would end badly with a lot of debts left.

Well, there is some impact somehow. It enable me to move forward on the next week refreshed. With it as stress remover, I am able to function in my daily activities in a 100% conditioned mind and body. not every single life , that is only your understanding. what i mean are that a lot of people suffering in lost and get broke also depressed because of gambling rather than who think it is just normal or even make them in better situation.

Bitcoin gambling makes me realized that saving is really essential instead of dealing with this type of activity, I lose some btc before and
if I recall how much it was then I ask myself what if i save it instead, but thanks because of that experience I can handle now my emotions

I used to play so much with my bitcoin before when bitcoin still used to trade below $1k per coin and I think I have lost more than 1BTC within few months in both gambling and sports betting. I have also won some big amounts but eventually I lost all of them.

These days, I only gamble or play in casino with play money or in demo modes so that I can enjoy games without getting greedy for huge profit and without getting tempered with loss.

Well as for me, I started gambling not quite long and so far is like it pays well because I made five win out of seven game though small amount that I bet. How I wish it will continue the way things are currently going in my favour, so I cannot say whether it has impacted or course much havoc in my life at the moment. Gambling is a game of either you lose or win, so be careful of the amount of money you use in gambling.

Wont you consider those people as an addictive person who do strive to take the jackpot prize? I dont think so. I would consider the same thing that they do have the addiction too. Losing or winning as long gambling being played for daily basis or how many hours on a single day on a particular week would be considered as one. No matter what is their personal reasons but one thing would be common which is to win money.
