In fact, games on gambling platforms are quite conservative and I don't think that too complex game engines will be available in the near future, since a winning game should not last long and have some kind of complex plot.

I disagree. If the only purpose of gambling was earning money with it, then you'd be right, and we would not need other games than a simplest version of dice. And, indeed, for some gamblers it is like this, and they play dice games only. But the vast majority of gamblers are looking both for winning money and getting entertainment. And for them complex plot is a must.

That's true if games do not have a plot or an exciting sequence and are not unpredictable, it's not going to be entertainment anymore, people get excited and entertained because of the unpredictability of the game, that is what makes us bet and hope to win, we want challenges and the best way to win in gambling is getting a challenge, and because of the house edge every session is challenging for gamblers.

Well, I have thought of a way of innovating for casino games, I believe that online casinos can achieve it, and it is to bring the games of the past to casinos, such as those that are WOF style, adventure, racing cars, fights, even sports, soccer games, baseball, these are games that can become somewhat long compared to those currently played, but it is a new attraction.

A new attraction brings old players and new players, and that can connect with each other to make a good tournament of them, but controlled by the casino, this would have a public oriented only to these games and the other public oriented to the traditional games, do you think this is possible?

It makes sense for casinos to try to implement fast paced games because in that way they increase the amount of profits they get while reducing the time they have to serve their customers, however from the point of view of gamblers it is better for them to be able to gamble for as long as possible while using the smallest amount of money that they can while at the same time they remain entertained, and this will mean gambling in games which are more engaging and more fun to play.

You are correct that for casinos it would ideal that people gambled as fast as possible so they can carter more people.
Actually this reminds me the era when arcade businesses were at their peak with those arcade machines with games of high difficulty so children would play and lose fairly quick in order for the shop to earn more money.

However, in these times online gambling is getting so prevalent that casinos can take advantage of the fact they do not need to physically hold machines in order to carter players, we all run those games on out PCs now. Once such limitation is erased it becomes easier for online casinos to offer games that can be relatively longer in comparison to classical ones found in real life resorts.

In my personal opinion, I prefer the usual games for casinos, dice, poker, black jack, among others. I like slots a lot because they are not like the slots in physical casinos that are all about fruit and are the same machines. , as I had said in other threads, one of the things that I like the most about stake.com is that every week they integrate and add more slot games and this is something that attracts anyone's attention, for me this is a great achievement, and that is why stake.com is always at the top of the best casinos, of course also bitcasino has great features and integration of slots, I think this does in hooking us as players.

When I was a child there was a toy which was quite popular, probably some of you have seen it before.
...
I remember that toy and had a lot of fun playing it although I used to cheat a bit by shaking the toy to force the rings to move in the right direction Smiley
I'd love to see a casino version of it but developing one is going to be very challenging. The design and animation can be easily imitated but not how it works as winning on the real game depends on how skilled the player is and the laws of physics while the casino game needs to be based on pure luck.

It could be also implemented as a skill based game if the casino somehow manages to turn the game into a contest against other playes, like Poker is.

That way it could be a skill based game and do not translate to losses to the casino but rather to the player who plays the worst.

I believe if a Bitcoin/cryptocurrency casino wants to have a community of LONG TERM users, they must offer more skill-based/strategy-based games in their sites. Simply depending on people gambling their coins away until they are out in the shortest time possible is not very sustainable in my opinion, especially during the bear market.

Try to learn how to play Craps, and learn the strategies instead of playing simple dice games or roulette, or other games that have high house edge.

Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!

Game in normal sense is for fun but in the process of playing the game, the players can bet to know who can play well more than the other person. That is where gambling come to play. Therefore, selecting a favourite game to play is base on the interesting aspect of the game and the features the game has. Remember there are some games that are easy to guest and play while there are difficult to guest and play. So the creators of the game can make the game to be easy or the otherwise.

It would take a casino to take the initiative and make the necessary investments to develop these games and they need to be a huge success so other casino also follow the trend.

I guess crypto-casino are in a position they have no need to invest much on developing such products since they are already making a decent profit.

I think the design and animation for the game can not be implemented soon for now because people tend to play still the gambling games they are already playing. In addition, maybe because the trend for games like that hasn't appeared yet, we can't see what happens if the game is implemented in casinos later. The casino itself already has many games that gamblers can choose from and most of them play gambling on the games they often play. Gamblers may also find skill-based games more appealing than they may not have caught their attention yet.

As I said, it is matter of a casino to start a successful trend for others to start to copy in order nor to stay behind.
Those games can be fun and infinitely appealing for players, but if casinos do not find a reason to invest and develop them then they won't do it, they are a business after all, profitability is one of their top priorities along reputation.

I will love it if someone could develop games where players can go head to head in player vs player games. It obviously has to be something that can be played quickly, but it can be something as simple as someone choosing a card that only the casino knows and the other person guessing the other persons card.

The casino can then take a cut from the amounts being bet, so that they can also make money out of it. You can also include a queue system, where players submit say 10 different color cards in advance ...and then other players can bet against them, when they join the queue system.  Wink

The aim will be to outsmart the other players and to remove complex "provably fair" systems and also to have a bigger chance to win something.  Wink

On Punt.com, we currently have two Player vs. Player games. Our first, is PvP Dice Duels. These duels currently have 0% commission which is totally unprecedented in the online crypto casino world. Our second PvP game is "Casino War". This game can run as a 2v2 all the way up to 12 players! The rules are simple, whoever pulls the higher card wins! Please let me know if you have any questions! Gambling games should be made simple, too complicated games will not be attractive enough but I'm sure there is a market for such complicated gambling games.
We know that there are so many popular gambling games out there (Mobile legend, valorant, COD, etc), who knows that it can be turned into gambling games in the future?
The hype of online games prove that there is a big market for such complicated game, means there is also big chance for complicated games to be modified into real gambling games.

Absolutely right  gambling games must be in a good and easy way to play in order to catch the attention of the gamblers beacause as you said that If the game is very diffecult and then the number of players is in the middle or low because the more the game played easy the more the gamblers will play. And about the games you mentioned it's look nice if these game put in the casino for sure  those gamblers who like this games will play and have a chance to win.

Gambling is so huge that there are casinos online and offline that cater for simple games and complicated games, like dice is a simple casino game and poker and blackjack are games with complexity, there are those who play for a thrill on what's coming up next in their next roll and those who love to beat the odds and their competitor through the game of poker and blackjack, whatever kind of games these casinos will launch there will always supporter of these games because gambling has a diversity the community.

Entertainment is fine as long as you can keep the cheaters away. The more complex the game is the easier it is to find bugs and loopholes.
I don't think we'll see pvp or mmo games introduced into gambling for this exact reason. Developers would have to invest a lot of money into security and a team of GMs who watch people play 24/7.

I think monopoly will be more interesting if it is used as a part of betting, because as we know monopoly is a fairly easy game and where every player can face each other in a player vs player game. so the level of prowess and luck will appear real

this is just hope
Without a doubt this would be an interesting game that could be implemented at a casino, and there are two ways in which this could be implemented but the most interesting would be a PvP version in which you could play against other players as you would in a monopoly game, now since monopoly can be a game that lasts a lot of time I think a time limit should be implemented, and the one that at the end has the most money should be declared the winner.

...I hope with technological advances this game can be lifted in online version

Actually, while searching that image I came across with an app for Iphone which seems to be an electronic version of the games, for phone obviously. That means there is already a preceding on making this game available for computers.

Eventually casinos could came with their own version if they believe it profitable.

I think this idea is good and I've seen some projects make this possible but it hasn't gained that momentum and popularity. There's a need for projects and features like this to be heavily advertised because it's going to be a peer to peer type of gambling.
The difference between this in play to earn projects, there's gambling that's related to it and it's a familiar concept to me that I have seen before but really has to be marketed for it to be mainstream. We'll see people enjoying playing the game and as well as put some bets for each round and games they play which is normal.

the usual bottleneck of the pvp concept is how to attract and sustain the interest of the players. they may attract new players at the beginning but the sustenance is the dilemma here. the site should think of rewards/programs/bonuses that can keep up with the interest of these gamblers. otherwise, they will just waste their resources developing this kind of game and later on, will be abandoned because they can't maintain its operations.
Yes, that's one problem that they should solve and make the players stay. At the beginning, there will be sure hype but in the long run, it's likely that hype will be gone. And the developers and owners should make a plan on how they will keep the players and won't lose the interest that they have.
Because once they lose their optimism towards the game, whether it's a good pvp concept and it's not worth it anymore. There will be a sudden drastic change negatively for the count of players.
